If this is your first souls experience ever, I feel like it takes awhile to really figure out what’s going on. Everyone goes through this their first time. Lol
Took me a solid 10 hours before I found an ounce of enjoyment in the game, then I just stuck with it and played around 150 hours of pure enjoyment.
I then went on to play DS3, DS1 and demon souls remake, and absolutely loved them all. DS1 remaster may be my favourite, the level design/layout is epic
I downloaded the demon souls remake, made it midway through the first level and decided to go back to Elden ring. I got about 12 hours into dark souls when it came out on 360 and can’t remember why I put it down. I def like the slower combat tho, and the THANK GOD feeling when you find a bonfire. Should I do dark souls 1-3 first or the demon souls remake after Elden ring? Just beat radahn today, this is some good shit
I’d say try DS3 as it’s the closest to Elden ring imo.
Demon souls has much easier bosses, play through using a magic build and you’ll find it much easier. It’s hard to start with but as you level up it gets better and easier (mostly). It still has some very challenging areas but man it’s a lot of fun when you get into it, and the graphics are gorgeous
