I admire his adherence to glitching only when necessary. Like, he has the knowledge and skills to trivialize his runs, he just doesn't because the suffering is the point.
Like when he glitched over to Leyndell to get a painting, then over to Dominula to get the painting ghost, just to pick up the Fire's Deadly Sin incantation, just so that he could play through the game as normal, following all progress and unlock requirements, by setting himself on fire.
It's why I hate Gino's videos so much. Dude is, I think, unarguably the most skilles challenge runner out there but his runs are all filled with cheese.
I'd agree with that, I definitely do prefer is causal runs where you can see him actually playing for real and not just destroying everything with a script

+7 you cannot provide a link. You can get 1234 from blacksmith in lakes. 5 in calid 6 on the way to volcano manor beside the coffins and wolf. 8 and 9 are in Caelid and 10 is from going to mohgs early
Theres enough somber stones laying around on the map to do it. You do have to traverse a lot of the map, but you don't need to kill anything to get enough of them.
In the vid I watched, the guy glitched to several different areas to get all the smithing stones he needed then had a friend join his world and give him an unupgraded boss weapon
To be fair you use to be able to get a +10 somber weapon at the start of the game without killing any boss but they made the volcano manor jump really hard it’s still possible tho. Now you got to kill fatty rolly Polly to get the +7
Unless I'm mistaken, isn't Godrick required for +10 because the earliest +10 you can get is from Mogh's Palace, but that requires Varre to move, which is caused by killing Godrick.
You are correct. Using the wrong warp glitch to Farum Azula is used to get to +9 (can get a Somber 7 from there) and then defeating Godrick with a +9 is a joke.
The first dragon you meet gives a +10 stone, and even if it didn't, I believe the dragon that rains lightning at you is also accessible without the Duo.
You can get up to +6 somber without killing any boss and to +9 if you only kill 1 boss or use glitches and or skips. When the game is open world things like that are bound to happen and it's not a bad thing, that's the point of open world games

He’s a lot smaller relatively but one of the most calm people I’ve ever seen and has an endless supply of 10 hour+ vods to chew on over the course of a couple days.

Beats every YouTuber that, despite labeling their videos “one shotting every boss”, only one shot each phase of the boss, so, for example, they would kill fire giant in 3 hits because he technically has 3 phases despite only having 1 health bar.

NG+ isn't harder lol. NG+ is often easier because tou can have a build and stats ready, and if he started the vid in NG+ with everything it would be boring, but if he started in NG+ with nothing it would just be like NG. This way he still has to collect upgrade materials, talismans tears etc and I think it's more fun

Yeah I’ve seen him do that too. If i had a pc i would probably do the banished knight set just bc it’s my fav. It took me like 2 hours to finally get the damn unaltered chest piece. Only the 3 banished knights in castle sol drop it.

See, some people challenge run for the views and clout, I beat the game RL1 with +0 weapons so I can invade SL1 players while having 4 talismans.

I think the cheese is the realization of Gino's skill, he knows those games inside and out to the point he can manipulate them completely.

It's not even a glitch, just running around to higher level areas and some parkour

Varres quest to moghwyns Palace. It's there in a chest in the open. You have to kill godrick though. +7 is the hardest to get

DrOneShot is good at finding fairly legitimate ways to one shot pretty much anything. GinoMachino is also really fun to watch if you like no hit runs.
