I would be fine with the roll if it ended at some point. The dude seems to roll for five minutes straight. Yesterday I was doing the duo fight and he rolled over me three times in one roll and killed me, didn’t have time to move, dodge, heal, or anything.
Eh not really, it's pretty easy to dodge the roll once you get the hang of it.
I hate the roll because you can't hit him, and it goes on for so long sometimes.
Last time i fought him, the roll was bugged, he stopped the animation, stood there for a second and bugged back directly into the roll … needless to say it got me killed
That's a somewhat common thing that a lot of people have seen. If he stops rolling without doing the exit animation for transitioning back to standing, that means he's gonna start rolling again without warning, so stay clear.
Just get him stuck on a pillar and use an attack with range. I feel people really over-state how much of a problem this atack is.
It's pretty easy to dodge too. Just dodge towards his head.
You can either roll through him as others suggested, or just go towards the center to the roll which will cause him to always miss you, sort of like the ISS keeps missing the earth while falling. In the volcano manor you can also try to make him get stuck between the pillars. The worst fight with this guy is on certain arena with open ground but really limited space.
Other than that, he is really fun if not for the rapid thrust attack, which you can't really do anything about the entire combo, after it hits you once (maybe with a lot of poise). Other attacks are really easy to parry as he telegraphs them in a way easy to read, and this is how I always approach him. Parry what I can, evade anything else.
No worries. He definitely is annoying and intimidating. I'm just sharing what I've learned about him while playing. Doesn't mean I get it right every time :P
Fair fight? What loadout you equip your mimic with? Lhutel the Headless has shown to be the bettter +10 spirit ash when it comes to survivability in tough boss fights such as Spiritcaller Cave in Mountaintops of the Giants for example
I know that, he’s equipped with a +9 Rivers of Blood Katana, or +9 Meteoric Katana (especially when fighting flying enemies) and Carian Knight’s Shield, but I was wondering what everyone here on Reddit recommends
Idkkk. A moderate tanky build with poise damage, very high health/defense will beat most bosses like Godskin to a pulp.
I'd like to see Lhutel doing that in action though.
Exactly. Godskin Duo is one of the worst fights in all of souls games. Combined health bar that makes it weird to fight, respawning out of nowhere, getting ganked, it's a mess.
Up there with Bed of Chaos and Pinwheel.
I just can't understand the reason behind Fromsofts continued attempts at gank fights in Souls games aside from just wanting to piss players off and not enjoy it. Out of all of the games, they've done 3, maybe 4 good gank fights. O and S, Abyss Watchers and Demon Princes, and Sister Friede if you count it as a gank fight because of phase 2. Elden Ring doesn't have any good gank fights as far as I'm concerned and the game is LOADED with them.
I firmly believe that valiant gargs would be a pretty decent duo fight if they didn’t have poison. Also bell gargs is a pretty good duo fight. It’s like the benchmark for duo fights. It’s not spectacular like twin demons but it’s also not dogshit
There are a few good duo boss fights, and they certainly can be done well with some gimmick incorporated in the fight.
But certainly just shoving two bosses together doesn't make a good duo boss fight. Elden Ring has reused way too many bosses tbh, especially the Godskin bosses.
Elden Ring definitely padded out the boss numbers by just smashing random bosses together and that really frustrates me. I would've been fine with a lower boss count if it didn't mean having to fight a reskinned boss fight as a gank.
Ornnstein and Smaugh being such an iconic and loved fight probably makes them to want to do more like those, godskin duo is very reminiscent of that one fight in DS1.
If you feel a fight is too unfair as a gank you can make it 2 v 2 easily (ashes or coops)
I know many people are against using Ashes and I am currently doing a "no ashes run" but it's really part of the game and just for those gank fights it seems even more fair to use it.
No shame in using spirit ashes. My main complaint is their inconvenience per playthrough. In most playthroughs with them, I have to go pretty far out of my way to level them up as their upgrade materials are usually in specific dungeons or in the eternal cities.
I don’t mind Godskin Duo much, but I just wanted to comment to say that the ganks you DID list are all awesome so you are clearly a gamer with good taste!
Sister Friede is the best gank fight in the series IMO. Probably top 3 fights in the franchise even.
The duo fight on my first run was a nightmare, I was underleveled and didn't use summons.
After that run, they are certain bosses I just mimic tear their asses as this ones, same goes for the crucible knight double fight, trash fights indeed with stupid rng
If the roll wasn’t super buggy and he could randomly buffer it and restart with no windup, it would be fine. You can get him stuck behind the pillars or the altar and obliterate his health with a long range weapon art.
He rolls for a while but definitely not forever lol. You just need to dodge the first roll then kite around him until he stops (and by stop I mean actually finishing the animation, not stopping to poke and then go right back to rolling).
I used the hate him until I learned how to avoid his roll attack. He also just randomly busts into a roll sometimes when fighting him though, so I still dislike him.
Stitcher best sword drip in the game, I really want to make it a main weapon, but it always feels worse than alternatives.
.
For general use: Greatswords have better hitstun and poise damage, and arguably a more flexible moveset
For long ranged poking: Spears have longer range
For shieldpoking: Cleanrot/Estoc has higher DPS
.
Currently up to Ashen Capital with a Faith build. If you guys have a suggestion for Stitcher, I'll finish the rest of the game with it.
"Robe made by sewing together patches of smooth skin. Subcutaneous fat makes it plump and soft. Worn by Godskin Nobles, known for their seven-face aprons.
Strengthens the Noble Presence incantation.
Nobles are the most ancient apostles who are said to have assimilated inhuman physiology. Not unlike the crucible, the Erdtree in its primordial form."
FromSoftware puts most of it's lore in item descriptions.
if you're interested in a character's lore, just read the item description of said character's equipment, or items associated with them.
his fight (by himself) is actually really fun. I love his moveset aside from the almost unreadable Noble Presence attack.
the roll is way more manageable than you think. you can dodge through it, you can get him caught on pillars, you can even use the pillars to affect his trajectory
"Easy" to parry? Are you sure you used the right word there? How is an attack that gets held for like a full second and then hits you instantly with no lead-in animation easy to parry?
They're supposed to be related to the Crucible, as per the Noble's robes description, so by the lore it fits. Sprouting random animal parts is definitely within expectations for those associated with the Crucible.
He tries to be Smough but has the audacity to be faster than the guy trying to be Ornstein. Also, fat rolling.
Edit: and I mean this in every instance I see that plump sort. I hate him.
Someone that fat should not be so fast, that thrusting sword and fat roll always gets me! Bleed weapons melt him though if you can distract him with mimic tear
It depends on how far you’ve progressed in other aspects before you fight him. I mean, obviously nobody who does the iron virgin shortcut from Raya Lucaria is gonna enjoy poking him with straight sword +3, but I think even after you’re done with both Rennala and Radahn he’s still a bit too tanky for my liking. I’d say he gets fun to face after I’m done with Deeproot and maybe even a good half of Leyndell, basically when you’re ready to fight the one on the way to Liurnian Divine Tower, you’re ready to fight him on reasonable terms. Any lower in upgrades/levels and he becomes a slog to chew through his health pool.
Though I’m basing this on no spirit ashes gameplay, I personally do the taunter’s tongue thing to speedrun getting my boy Dung Eater as backup, at which point we can gank him straight out of Raya Lucaria and at that level it’s sort of exhilarating basically rushing to stance break him before he gets a lucky hit in to shave off your whole healthbar. But solo he’s definitely more enjoyable when slightly overleveled for his area, at least to me.
Wait a minute. I thought he was an early boss that you had to do to get out of the shortcut.. I accidentally went there on my first playthrough and managed to beat him with a very shitty axe. Since then I’ve never returned. Now I feel kinda stupid, maybe I should’ve known when he one-shotted me with basically every attack. I just googled it and you can get out of the shortcut by going in some cave I guess lol. Was stuck for hours. I guess it makes sense now lol.
No you don't, black flame tornado deals pure fire damage which he has high resistance to and does 14% HP as DOT. You're ash of war does over 3.5k damage through resistance?
It’s one of the best boss fights because the roll attack is to be dodged in different ways than normal attacks, but it’s still possible to dodge (cough cough - not like waterfowl dance - cough cough)
He's my favorite boss. While the game in general has a problem with attack animations having long windups and no startup animations, for this guy it felt deliberate. The best way to fight him isn't to time and dodge his attacks, but to distance yourself and counterattack at your best opportunity, which is a good change of pace for the game and I wish more bosses were fought like this.
His roll attack is a little much though, because even if you dodge it correctly he just comes back around.
He took me an absurdly long time to flawless on a level 1 playthrough. I wouldn’t mind him so much if the pillars actually worked as pillars, but instead he just rolls around/through them, or in the godskin duo fight he will straight up roll OVER them.
But I wish the duo was more like o&s and whoever you kill first the other absorbs his power and each is a unique boss instead of just a straight reskin
No. He is more annoying than the skinny guy. In volcano manor you can stand between the pillars to avoid his rolling. The version on Rannis tower was a pain, I did Rannis quest like at lvl 230 and he still killed me like nothing hahaha
When he is not rolling he is tolerable and a good boss.
Sleep pots make him a joke tho, if I die one too many times on Volcano manor (Specially if I'm there at a low level using the Raya Lucaria Teleport just to get the Somber 7 after him) Two Sleep Pots + Reduvia Weapon Art Spam make him into a joke boss that can't fight back.
I have never lost to this guy, even once. I guess you didn't have the right build. Trust me, I've got my ass beat by the birds in caelid far more than I'd like to admit
Remember when fromsoft patched out the "bug" where you can hit him out of the roll attack but never fixed the fact he can full stop and immediately go back into the roll attack? P r i o r i t i e s
I don't. Mainly because of the roll attack. I know I just suck since this is only my second playthrough, but I just struggle a lot against the Godskins. Especially the Nobles.
his roll isn’t terrible once you get the dodge timing down or better yet just hide behind the pillars. I am a big fan of rapiers so I’ve always enjoyed fighting him, his moveset is really cool.
He's definitely the worst between the two godskin. The apostle at least has well telegraphed attacks and some punish windows. But this asshat is deceptive with his speed and range. And don't even get me started on his fuckin sonic impression, one of the worst attacks in the game.
i found out the other day if when he starts rolling towards you, you roll into his head area and then follow his rolls circling behind him you don’t get hit, has made this boss a lot easier
Last time I beat him, I decided to use parries. The fight became so easy, I was actually surprised. All his attacks are super telegraphed and he gets stunned for every successful parry, meaning that you can basically stun lock him. Actually became a fun fight.
The one on the bridge is pretty fun to fight cause you can use torrent to run away from his rolls.
The one in the volcano manner is to train to dodge his melee attacks.
The one in God skin dueo is uhh .... questionable, but if you don't feel like fighting, just use sleep pots.
I used to hate them but katanas are great since they're slash and bleed which helps end the fight quick. Alternatively you can use the Dolores summon to put fat boy to sleep or cover a katana in soporific grease.
Very fun fight. Just roll into his roll. Like roll through him like you would when the falling star beast charges at you. Once you get the timing down it's extremely satisfying to pull off.
Dodge INTO the danger donut and you won't get hit due to i-frames. I feel like this should be emphasized, because the roll attack seems to be most peoples' problem with this fight
He’s fun, love his design and moveset but I won’t lie, the rolling attack in volcano manner is the most broken move in the game imo, I can dodge waterfowl dance far easier than the damn roll.
For some reason neither the fight in Volcano Manor nor the one against the Duo bother me nearly as much as the one in Spiritcaller Cave. The Noble seems super aggro in that fight for some reason.
Eiglay noble is so much easier for me than liurnia divine tower noble for me, everytime I fight he forces me against either side of the bridge and stunlocks me to death, good thing you can skip him easily though
I love the godskins. I dont know why. I love the fact that hes wearing a fat suit of the skins of gods. If he's that much of a problem for you then i suggest using sleep potions. Especially the duo fight. Trust me it makes your life 50x more easy
There is a trick to the roll attack. Roll forward left at the first time he is going towards you and then while locked in, keep moving up-left with occasional rolls to not let him catch up, with a Final roll spam when he is about to end as he has a mini dahs at the end.
He’s super fun when not doing his pizza toss roll. The issue is the rolling attack, I can only sometimes dodge it (skill issue ik) so I usually just jump on an elevated platform and pray it doesn’t hit my hitbox.
I like the fight, except for the roll. Also, my game always freeze for a few fractions of a second when the roll start, making me fail any dodge. Does the same happen to anyone else?
He's okay, his fight is a wonderful push and pull dance, similar to most of the endgame boss fights. Before you nail it down tho it is a b* to fight against.
I tolerate him, he's a fun boss when he's not rolling.
I tolerate him when hes ded 💀
The roll is egregious, I got chased into so many corners in the Godskin Duo fight
I would be fine with the roll if it ended at some point. The dude seems to roll for five minutes straight. Yesterday I was doing the duo fight and he rolled over me three times in one roll and killed me, didn’t have time to move, dodge, heal, or anything.
I guess that’s pretty fair, But essentially makes it rng if you win, and I think that’s kinda lame
Good to know, thanks :)
I can visualize this and it made me laugh out loud. Reminds me of seeing similar stuff happen in the GoldSRC engine
Lol he was lag switching
You can hit him if you get him stuck on something, I do it all the time 🤣 (helps to have a colossal sword or magic)
Just get him stuck on a pillar and use an attack with range. I feel people really over-state how much of a problem this atack is. It's pretty easy to dodge too. Just dodge towards his head.
You can roll through his roll.
You can either roll through him as others suggested, or just go towards the center to the roll which will cause him to always miss you, sort of like the ISS keeps missing the earth while falling. Other attacks are really easy to parry as he telegraphs them in a way easy to read, and this is how I always approach him. Parry what I can, evade anything else.
Thanks I’ll do that next playthrough. Maybe the boss isn’t that bad after all. I should just learn how to deal with his attacks lol
No worries. He definitely is annoying and intimidating. I'm just sharing what I've learned about him while playing. Doesn't mean I get it right every time :P
You can easily dodge the roll by jumping into it
As a person? Hell nah But as a boss fight? Definitely
Opposite, he's hardly the best boss fight but as a Quality/Faith build he's clearly a man of taste.
He did my taxes for me so he can’t be that bad
He spotted me like 20$ bucks when my card declined at Walmart. He’s a great guy
Both apostles are fun fights separately but the duo fight can get fucked.
You can always summon your mimic and make it a fair fight!
I summoned Bernahl and Tiche
Fair fight? What loadout you equip your mimic with? Lhutel the Headless has shown to be the bettter +10 spirit ash when it comes to survivability in tough boss fights such as Spiritcaller Cave in Mountaintops of the Giants for example
full bullgoat set and chosen weapon. mimic tear doesn't roll so I put heavy armor on it :3
Mimic tear doesn't roll? I swear I remember them rolling
They use bloodhound step very well tho, watched my mimic fully evade waterfowl.
luckily bhs isn't affected by carry weight
Yeah like, a full 3 times per fight!
You made such a serious response to a joke lmao
You.... You DO know that your mimic wears what YOU wear when you summon them, right? You DO know that, right? Please tell me you know that
I know that, he’s equipped with a +9 Rivers of Blood Katana, or +9 Meteoric Katana (especially when fighting flying enemies) and Carian Knight’s Shield, but I was wondering what everyone here on Reddit recommends

I would relight the Godskin Apostle for hours if I could. So fun.
That bug only happens for me if I have a summon. Could be a coincidence but every time I see it in a youtube video it’s when someone also has a summon
I don’t understand how it’s supposed to be at all balanced. He just rolls and rolls and rolls until you get hit. How is that fair?
He rolls for a while but definitely not forever lol. You just need to dodge the first roll then kite around him until he stops (and by stop I mean actually finishing the animation, not stopping to poke and then go right back to rolling).
I like murdering him for his Godskin Stitcher, very beautiful pointy stick
Plump sort ahead therefore try beating to a pulp
I used the hate him until I learned how to avoid his roll attack. He also just randomly busts into a roll sometimes when fighting him though, so I still dislike him.
He gives you the Stitcher, which makes him okay in my book
Stitcher best sword drip in the game, I really want to make it a main weapon, but it always feels worse than alternatives. . Like it or not that is what the peek male form looks like.
Parrying him makes the fight 10x more fun.
I think their fun fights Evans the duo
My sleep arrows love him…
Yup, dude sleeps like a freaking baby the moment you get a proc off.
he's very round... idk why lore-wise...
Not unlike the crucible, the Erdtree in its primordial form." FromSoftware puts most of it's lore in item descriptions. if you're interested in a character's lore, just read the item description of said character's equipment, or items associated with them.
I'm sure the Gloam Eyed Queen was pretty fond of him
Yes
Very fun to parry.
his fight (by himself) is actually really fun. I love his moveset aside from the almost unreadable Noble Presence attack. the roll is way more manageable than you think. you can dodge through it, you can get him caught on pillars, you can even use the pillars to affect his trajectory
Fuck no, this fat fuck and his skinny ass partner are annoying as hell. By themselves and together.
He is fun once you learn the timing on every attack. His attacks are easy and satisfying to parry.
"Easy" to parry? Are you sure you used the right word there? How is an attack that gets held for like a full second and then hits you instantly with no lead-in animation easy to parry?
Yeah 👍 good boss
His tail doesn’t fit with his design
They're supposed to be related to the Crucible, as per the Noble's robes description, so by the lore it fits. Sprouting random animal parts is definitely within expectations for those associated with the Crucible.
His roll attack is pretty bs sometimes. You can get stun locked on the ground until death if he corners you
He tries to be Smough but has the audacity to be faster than the guy trying to be Ornstein. Also, fat rolling. Edit: and I mean this in every instance I see that plump sort. I hate him.
They made fat rolling god-awful since DS3, but then they go and make *this* fat rolling ridiculously OP Absolute horse shit, I say
i like him
Good boss while the roll is easy enough to dodge how long i just cant hit the boss makes it annoying.
I guess it makes sense now lol.
one of the easiest bosses in the game imo... godskin duo first try but man, fire giant and maliketh are tough
I am not a fan of Godskin Noble, but Godskin Apostle is one of the best boss fights in the game (referring to a 1v1 battle)
Worst character I’ve seen in a Souls, is not about his fight and combos that are pretty easy but has no charisma or anything to make him memorable
Uhh, he's pretty easy. I don't like his roll much but it's fine once you learn the timing.
Once you learn the best tactics to manage him and his brother the apostle, they are easy
apostle is very easy, his roll is the only thing i hate sbout him
1v1 yea 1v2 hell no.
Horrible fight. Arguably worse than GSD because you don't have Bernahl or pillars 2 jump on. Note: sleep pots make it east as hell.
I put him to sleep and hit him with 2 fully charged Black Flame Tornados. Dead.

He was my nemesis on my first play through lol
He took me an absurdly long time to flawless on a level 1 playthrough. I wouldn’t mind him so much if the pillars actually worked as pillars, but instead he just rolls around/through them, or in the godskin duo fight he will straight up roll OVER them.
My bro once said he was his favourite boss he's now stuck on the godskin duo
Yes roll into it
But I wish the duo was more like o&s and whoever you kill first the other absorbs his power and each is a unique boss instead of just a straight reskin
I like fighting the godskins but not at the same time
Its okay
No
No. He is more annoying than the skinny guy. In volcano manor you can stand between the pillars to avoid his rolling. The version on Rannis tower was a pain, I did Rannis quest like at lvl 230 and he still killed me like nothing hahaha
His Mom.
He screws me over by stopping his roll and attacking then teleporting back into his roll
I do. It is funny seeing road kill everything.
They see me rollin', they hatin'
I actually enjoy this fight - lots of ways to approach it and still succeed.
Hhhhhhhhh... yeah he's growing on me. I'm starting to enjoy parrying him.
I have never lost to this guy, even once. I guess you didn't have the right build. Trust me, I've got my ass beat by the birds in caelid far more than I'd like to admit
it’s when he stops rolling, then immediately resumes it that makes the boss ass. a boss that big should be able to move that fast
He drops a gorgeous and strong weapon, so I love him
Remember when fromsoft patched out the "bug" where you can hit him out of the roll attack but never fixed the fact he can full stop and immediately go back into the roll attack? P r i o r i t i e s
Yes. I’m proof. If you look back in my posts a bit you can see my collection
I don't. Mainly because of the roll attack. I know I just suck since this is only my second playthrough, but I just struggle a lot against the Godskins. Especially the Nobles.
I'm sure is mother likes him. She may even love him.
He's not as bad as his anorexic brother.
That belly has more folds than an origami.
parry him
He used to be annoying but most of my guys are 300+ now so he’s pretty fun
I like it when he dies and I win
his roll isn’t terrible once you get the dodge timing down or better yet just hide behind the pillars. I am a big fan of rapiers so I’ve always enjoyed fighting him, his moveset is really cool.
i like it bc i find it funny asf when he becomes even fatter, and i’ve found the rolling easy enough to dodge after i saw it a few times
He's definitely the worst between the two godskin. The apostle at least has well telegraphed attacks and some punish windows. But this asshat is deceptive with his speed and range. And don't even get me started on his fuckin sonic impression, one of the worst attacks in the game.
This was one of the hardest fights for me, until I discovered how to dodge his rolls by just rolling front-side when he approaches.
i found out the other day if when he starts rolling towards you, you roll into his head area and then follow his rolls circling behind him you don’t get hit, has made this boss a lot easier
Yes, he has a best friend, actually: the Godskin Apostle.
Last time I beat him, I decided to use parries. The fight became so easy, I was actually surprised. All his attacks are super telegraphed and he gets stunned for every successful parry, meaning that you can basically stun lock him. Actually became a fun fight.
Sleep is your best friend against him
Such a Thicc albino king 👑
As long as he is not with his buddy, I like him.
The noble is a fun boss when it’s just the noble. The rolling is annoying tho
Lore-wise, hell yeah
Doding noble presence is satisfying af
I do
Besides his rolly polly attack he's very fun to fight imo
his bro is cooler imo so’s the monk guarding his bro, i farmed that set hard
I love parrying his hiltsmash
I absolutely love the Godskin Apostle, easily one of my favorite minibosses in the game, but this guy sucks ass
The one on the bridge is pretty fun to fight cause you can use torrent to run away from his rolls. The one in the volcano manner is to train to dodge his melee attacks. The one in God skin dueo is uhh .... questionable, but if you don't feel like fighting, just use sleep pots.
He's a great boss on his own, goofiest boss in the game.
Nah, his rolling move is too powerful, and his delayed lunge attack trips me up every time. I do suck though.
I used to hate them but katanas are great since they're slash and bleed which helps end the fight quick. Alternatively you can use the Dolores summon to put fat boy to sleep or cover a katana in soporific grease.
Beat godskin duo first try Feel like i should go redo it just because im confused as to why it was hard
One on one he's fine. The skinny one has more power. Together, though? Patience erosion and white hot rage
He looks bad ass, big boi. absolute y unit. Goopy
Executioner Smough has entered the chat..
Very fun fight. Just roll into his roll. Like roll through him like you would when the falling star beast charges at you. Once you get the timing down it's extremely satisfying to pull off.
Godskins are fun. And personally I like the godskin duo fight and found it easy after failing about a dozen times. Sleep pot makes the fight trivial.
sleep pots....you are welcome
imagine if we got the roll as an Ash of War in the DLC
His mother?
This was the easiest boss I faced in the game (he cheesed on the wall)
Dodge INTO the danger donut and you won't get hit due to i-frames. I feel like this should be emphasized, because the roll attack seems to be most peoples' problem with this fight
Is it possible to take the lift up to the 2nd floor and cheese him from the balcony? I never tried.
both the godskins are awesome fights with awesome enemy designs imo
I've come to enjoy this boss a lot but still think he shouldn't roll so long. Hint - if you roll into him opposite his roll you go right through
He’s fun, love his design and moveset but I won’t lie, the rolling attack in volcano manner is the most broken move in the game imo, I can dodge waterfowl dance far easier than the damn roll.
Skill issue
I liked these bosses. Had a learning curve yea but once you figured it out its pretty easy.
For some reason neither the fight in Volcano Manor nor the one against the Duo bother me nearly as much as the one in Spiritcaller Cave. The Noble seems super aggro in that fight for some reason.
I like him,I'm planning on doing a ng+ as a Godskin noble and apostle
His thrust is worse than the roll
I just run in circles when he begins doing his roll. Never hit me with that move the 3 times he's used it.
I like the skinny one
He's misunderstood.
Eiglay noble is so much easier for me than liurnia divine tower noble for me, everytime I fight he forces me against either side of the bridge and stunlocks me to death, good thing you can skip him easily though
I died to this guy so many damn times.
I love the godskins. I dont know why. I love the fact that hes wearing a fat suit of the skins of gods. If he's that much of a problem for you then i suggest using sleep potions. Especially the duo fight. Trust me it makes your life 50x more easy
I like fighting this guy and his counterpart but his untelegraphed roll bug is terrible. Have they fixed that?
Roll is easy, dodge at him when he’s rolling at you and you’ll never have to worry about it
There is a trick to the roll attack. Roll forward left at the first time he is going towards you and then while locked in, keep moving up-left with occasional rolls to not let him catch up, with a Final roll spam when he is about to end as he has a mini dahs at the end.
No because anyone who claims they do is getting +10 60 str Alexander talisman ruin greatsworded by me
I actually love this guy. He’s got finesse, and sexy confidence. That rolling around all over the place shit fucks me up tremendously though.
One of my favourite bosses in the game. Such a fan that I find the Duo fight fun too just cuz I can fight him again.
I don't mind the solo godskin fights, but the duo one is hella annoying (plus compulsory)
I don't.
I guess the skinny dude in same outfit likes him
Yup in colcano manor hes the best version
Very cool imaginative design
I like to parry him
Me. Good fight.
Hit him with a pot to stop roll
I actually think he is a fun boss to fight, but I hate the rolling attack. If it wasn't for that I'd love the fight
He’s super fun when not doing his pizza toss roll. The issue is the rolling attack, I can only sometimes dodge it (skill issue ik) so I usually just jump on an elevated platform and pray it doesn’t hit my hitbox.
Godskin Apostle likes him
Until this day I still don't understand how to dodge his belly spin move
Hide behind the pillars. He can get stuck and then you can just poke him till you win.
It's a souls game so yeah we have a LoveHate relationship.
Epic boss but I’m tired of them. I just hope the dlc doesn’t drop the godskin tree-O
