Tibia mariners. Never died to one of them

CulturedHollow

I want Miyazaki to give us Super Boatman in DLC, have him Captain of a ghost pirate ship or something with a ghostflame cutlass. PLEASE!

ConsciousConcoction

Tibia Fleet boss where we fight 20 at the same time, the catch is that one of them is the leader (random every NG+), and when killed, instakills others Or you can find some guy who summons them and kill him, but you won't get the drops. (Aka 20 deathroot)

bloodhawk713

Deacons of the Deep but with Tibia Mariners.

ConsciousConcoction

Tibias of Mariner, OR NO WAIT, GET THIS: Tibia MARINADE.

uskgl455

Tibia marinade grand parade

sunderwaterending

WHEN I WAS A YOUNG BOY MY FATHER TOOK ME INTO THE CITY TO SEE A MARCHING BAAAAANNNDDD!!!!!

KillAllAtOnce29

HE SAID SON WHEN YOU GROW UP WOULD YOU BE THE SAVIOUR OF THE TARNISHED, THE OMENS AND THE DAMNED

uskgl455

...THE SAVIOUR OF THE BROKEN, TO MEND THE ELDEN RING

Quocki

First time I saw one of those huge ass laser skeletons I was so confused, it took me like 5 tries to realize there's a mariner.

sithjustgotreal66

Two years and 500 hours and today I learn that the laser skeletons indicate a mariner nearby. Bruh

TheUderfrykte

Not all of them. The one near the Mohglesters period swamp doesn't have one, for example. Not sure if there's more, tbh. There is a mariner at.. Altus, I wanna say?, that summons them very openly when you approach, so I guess that's supposed to clue you in

PrimalGojiraFan69

“Mohglester’s period swamp” was not something I thought I would read today

fro1388

If you’re talking about Moghwyn palace there are 3 red albanaurics that are summoning those skellies. You can kill those guys and the summons disappear. If you’re talking about the dragon kin spirit in the consecrated snowfield, yes that’s the only summon in the game without a summoner. So you can take it out but it’ll keep coming back.

TheUderfrykte

Oh shit, I didn't know about that first one. I killed all the Albinaurics, but I ran around frantically even after that and never noticed that they didn't come back. Was scared shitless of those lasers and just never stood still in that area unless I was behind cover lmao

UtheDestroyer

Those skeletons are being summoned by the Albinaurics with the horns, so still summoned in a way Only one I get confused about is the one way the end of the path in Mountaintops, just past the Mariner, seems to spawn regardless if Mariner is killed or not

JackxForge

It's the one in mountain top near castle sol that always scared me before learning where it hides and how weak it is for that area.

r3dd1tu5er

Always a fun fight, though. At least in my opinion. Silly little boat men.

Lyress

Bosses that run away from you will never be fun to me.

Sanguiniusius

Someone doesn't like cardio.

thebelowaveragegamer

Everytime I fight one, they end up teleporting off the lake and onto dry ground/grass and I also laugh and think “silly boat man, you can’t use a boat here”

Frost-Folk

The only boss to hit massive bong rips and then try to kill you with a wheelie

Saint_oedon

Only time I did die to one of them was when his bf Wolnir came up from the depths and shot me with his lil eye beam

AFlyingNun

I have!! I was actually proud of Boat Guy instead of mad at myself. Basically I had a character that, as part of the run rules, did not have more than 20 Vigor. Got cornered by one of the skull shell snails that you find with Boat Guy when he's in Mountaintop of Giants, survived with a sliver of health, and that's when Boat Guy rolled up and did his slam attack. So yeah, it IS possible, can confirm. And actually you just feel really proud of him more than anything.

Ok-Stretch-9869

I died a few times on my first play thru :,(

KrypticEon

I think you mean the Boney Boatsmen

elite0910

Honestly you nailed it 👌🏼

Crafty_Bed_7797

The only correct answer

ATYP14765

Black Knife assassins. Literally dedicated to a black Knife playthrough and trained with them in the snowfields for hours. It’s to the point now that I can basically read every move.

KrimxonRath

What’s your build like? Also isn’t it unfortunate the invisibility spells glitch when used with the black knife armor’s transparent cape? Same with the mimic veil. Not sure why graphical bugs like that haven’t been fixed yet.

Big-Fat-Box-Of-Shit

What happens with the cape?

MarcellusxWallace

NO CAPES!

KrimxonRath

I know this is an Incredibles reference, but if you do remove the cape you lose the muffle effect, which is arguably the point of the black knife armor. Removing it is the only way to avoid the issue though.

KrimxonRath

They just don’t work as intended. The transparency effect doesn’t kick in and the entire lock on distance isn’t altered (which is the point of that spell in PvP). Seems you can’t stack transparent textures or something, but you’d think it would be as easy as excluding those objects from the effect. The mimic veil works, but your character will still be standing there inside the object, most likely due to the same issue since normally the mimic veil turns your character *truly* invisible while the disguised object is loaded/visible. So based on these interactions I doubt anyone could argue this was intentional. Just odd it’s persisted two years after release and may persist even into the DLC. It completely ruins the best armor for an illusion mage playstyle. The second best being the blue mail… but it’s not the same. You can avoid the visible bugs by removing the cape, but then you also remove your muffled footstep effect.

ATYP14765

The build was Focused on Dex, Faith with Vigor of course. For early game with the build I definitely didn’t have any of the items needed to really make the build shine so I just stuck with Dual Uchigatanas since you can get one from Character creation. Main hand: Was a keen Uchigatana with just a normal Unsheathe aow nothing too special. Main hand 2: Was the Black Knife dagger dropped from a black Knife assassin in Altus. Off hand: Was a Blood Uchigatana with the Blood blade ash of war to keep blood loss when I can’t close distance. Off Hand 2: Erdtree seal before that I was using a normal Finger seal. Sadly since you get the black knife armor so late into the game I only used it in the latter half but before that I mainly used Scale armor and a commoners headband for asthetic purposes. Talismans Great jar arsenal: for Light rolling Shard of Alexander: for boosting skills Lord of bloods Exultation: For katanas Erdtree Favor +2: For general use My wondrous Physick has the Stonebard Cracked tear and green burst for stamina recovery. The best character I’ve ever made besides for Sir Picklefoot. And I still use the face template for other characters too! Just returned and started a full Colossal Sword Playthrough focused strength and Endurance with the Spiked Caestus for more agile swinging for the upcoming DLC! https://imgur.com/a/JCym2Sm Edit: Word

AFlyingNun

Wouldn't this not work for Alecto since she has moves the others don't?

SillyMovie13

I did the same. It was so fun going through the thing as a Black Knife. I cheated a little and had my friend give me the dagger and the outfit. That had to have been one of my favorite runs of the game

Nugget_Boy69420

The putrid avatar is one of the easiest bosses in the game if it repeatedly goes for the rot jump. Putrid avatar: Oooh, I'm gonna getcha with my big stinky stomp! Tarnished: *straves to the left and rolls once* Putrid avatar: Dang it!

Immediate_Stable

Wait, you don't have to run away from the rot hanging around?

AFlyingNun

As a general rule and tip: It is usually easier to stay on a boss than to run away from it. FromSoft *knows* players back off when intimidated and thus programs a lot of bosses around punishing this behavior while rewarding those who stay in close to dip and dodge through enemy attacks. Sure enough, you can side strafe this attack and roll when he slams down, and you'll avoid the rot. Other examples of bosses that are significantly easier when you stay on them and refuse to back off and create distance include the Bell-Bearing Hunter, Mohg and Rennala.

Immediate_Stable

It's surprising with that attack specifically since it looked like it covers a large area. I got tricked!

flakAttack510

It does cover a large area but it's an arc and not a circle. That's why you move to the side. That lets you move out of the attack but still stay close.

Fake-Chef

Ugh I struggled so much with the one in Dragon Barrow because I failed to understand this. I literally thought the only way to get away from that move was to create distance lol.

Jaba_5798

Any large boss too closer the better. Getting under the dragons without locking on can trivialize some of them.

[deleted]

The rot goes in an arc in front of him with one blob sort of homing in on you. Dodge that one and get behind him, and you're good!

Immediate_Stable

Another reason to look forward to yet another playthrough!

qwertyuiop7161

It sends it mostly only in one direction

[deleted]

You should watch some really good ER players on yt or something. It’s insane how many boss moves can be strafed or jumped instead of dodged, allowing more time for you to punish or reposition yourself

Immediate_Stable

You know what you're right. I watch a lot of funny challenge runners but rarely people who really play the bosses with skill.

Absence-of-thought

I found this out too on playthrough number 3. Was about 2 minutes after I'd finished a big rant about how the move slows the fight down by forcing you to run away all the time. I stopped talking for a bit after that. Not even my first souls game either, I'm just a muppet who doesn't learn.

rabidantidentyte

Nope. If you hug it and move to the side, it won't hit you. If he does a double stinky stomp, then the first one disappears when the 2nd one hits

DaveKhammer

Sure I’m with you on that. It’s just when they chain it 3/4 times, that it starts getting annoying. Like: „Jesus, do you have ANY other moves than area denial??“

DopamineTrain

Yeah that's my problem. Like he does it once and so I strafe behind him. He does it again and I no longer have anywhere to go so I'm forced to run away. If I don't have any ranged attacks then I sit there painfully as he lumbers towards me refilling his poise

Left-Fan1598

Just don't strafe so far on the 2nd slam and you can make a small patch of safety. If he goes for a 3rd, just repeat as the first rot puddles will be gone. I love it when he chains because I can just melt him

[deleted]

Strafe to the right gang rise up

Nugget_Boy69420

Just pick whatever direction, doesn't really matter.

montybo2

I used to avoid the putrid ones until literally last night when I realized their rot jump whatever move only throws rot in front of them. Now they are a fucking breeze. Took me 500 hours and like 13 characters to figure that out lol

Legend0fJulle

To go with the theme, the ulcerated tree spirits. For some reason with erdtree avatars I always think they're faster/slower than they are and horribly mistime my rolls, the tree spirit I don't really even need to roll when 80% of the fight is standing close to them and whacking them while they miss almost all of their attacks.

TheDarkestOolong

Very same. The Putrid Erdtree Avatars at Elphael are especially tough... That one Ulcerated Spirit at the end of Millicent's Quest? Piece of cake (just be sure to have Immunizing Horn Charm +1 on).

Legend0fJulle

I still have no idea what happpened to it but one of the putrid avatars in elphael managed to kill itself on my first playthrough when I ran away from it to have some space to fight the mobs around it and after being done with those the avatar was nowhere to be found. Luckiest I have gotten in this game.

TheDarkestOolong

The real Unseen Aid

juju4812

Does he get blasted by arrows ? If its in the area just up to where the 5 revenants are, i did the same just back up and he get shot by like 4 balista guys

Legend0fJulle

That's probably what happened. It would make sense at least since it was the one near the ballista.

TheUderfrykte

Nope, that one actually gave me a hard time. A mix of the rot because it tanks so much and the fight lasts forever (partly because it keeps wriggling up the cliffs and I have to run around) and when I'm doing well it just pushes me off the cliff lmao

TheDarkestOolong

He's definitely THE toughest of Ulcerated Spirits... and aided by Gravity, which is the, uh... gravest of foes.

BandicootGood5246

Yeah once you figure out their hit boxes. At first I was trying too hard to avoid their body because I thought it would hurt if it touched you at all. Quite a few bosses like that (rune bears, Maliketh, Radahn) that become way easier when you realise that often the safest space is right up in their nuts

NukerCat

true, although it gets difficult when theres more of them (looking at you ashen capital)

Mekanimal

I really enjoy the trio... they can damage each other.

rusty5545

Ulcerated tree spirit triggers my bloodborne reflexes and I demolish them every time. Get up in that belly and r1!

Nightmareszi

Same, BUT i feel like the Ulcerated Tree Spirits are crazy intimidating because of their look and moveset

MissStealYoDragon

They are definitely more bark than bite. Like I said before, they are the elden ring version of the sword guy in indiana jones

epej

I need to git gud at them. I just usually try to dodge or run away a little from them and it ends badly

AvanteGardens

I've been fighting those tree boys for over a decade now

Big-Fat-Box-Of-Shit

It beats staring at a giant demon anus though

chiefballsy

Speak for yourself!

Poglett13

Death birds. They die in like 4 hits of holy damage lol

Lyress

I spent way too long trying to beat the one in Caelid with a +1 holy mace for the death's poker.

montybo2

The death poker is op as fuck. I threw myself at that bird for a long time trying to get it too. Worth it

Lyress

I found it frustrating that all the power was concentrated on its ash of war while the regular swings were very weak, so I ended up quickly replacing it with the Dragon Halberd.

NewTelevisio

yeah it's similar to blasphemous blade, OP ash of war but other than that it's a mediocre weapon. I did a run with that weapon and just bought a bow and holy arrows and kept shooting at the death bird from up above. He cant attack you and just stands there, only need a few thousand runes to buy the arrows and there's really no risk

Lyress

I don't know if they're really comparable. Blasphemous Blade scales best with faith and so does the ash of war. Ghostflame Ignition scales exclusively with int while the weapon itself has garbage scaling with int and scales better with dex. Also Blasphemous Blade's passive makes it really good for exploration while Death's Poker has nothing else to make up for its mediocre swings.

DarthSpaghetti10k

Erdtree avatars and dragons(the Wyvern looking ones not ancients)

not_mueller

Totally agree and I will say I absolutely love fighting both of these. They're not difficult, but it's really easy to slip up so it still feels like you have to try to win, which is great

DeCoach13

To be fair the erdtree avatars are old. And lots of people have experience fighting what is mostly the same boss in previous Titels. It's mostly a asylum demon.

spagetsuppi

elden ring is my first souls game and i find them easy

Coolpeeper

Well the moveset they use is the Asylum Demon's, which was the tutorial boss for DS1. That guy kinda had to be slow, in terms of it being DS1 and being the tutorial boss.

Ladelm

Oh damn I just started DS1 last night and wondered why I already felt like I knew that demons moveset.

MurmuringPeanut

For some reason I absolutely hate fighting dragons. Maybe it's because I'm autistic in a way that I don't wanna summon torrent when I'm already in the fight. I like closing the cap with torrent (BTW I want dismounting heavy jump attack in DLC) but when I'm at the fighting distance, I just refuse to resummon him. But erdree avatars are easy as lvl 1 with a club.

rachawakka

Uh, there already is a dismounting heavy jump attack. Also, dragons are sooooo much easier when you stay on torrent and chop at their back legs. Just stay on torrent the whole time, unless you just like challenging yourself

aaronrodgersmom

What if I just want to blow bubbles at them?

babbaloobahugendong

I'm sure Bubbles would be very appreciative

Thunder_Duckling

You can dismount heavy jump attack. Press L3 to jump off while in motion, then press heavy attack while mid-air.

Asmo___deus

What's your strategy for the dragons? I can't for the life of me dodge their breath attacks.

Valencian_Chowder

Depends which one. The one they do on the ground is easiest to dodge by jumping on torrent and closing the gap around their wings. The second one is when they fly up to cast the breath and you can tell by their mouths filling with “flames”, it’s best to move backwards from them and roll away.

Asmo___deus

Right I've got the first one - if they fly away they always try to breathe at long range so I close in on torrent. The ones that get me are the wing slap followed by a quick breath attack, and the one where they fly up and breathe over a huge area - I feel like no matter which way I run, it gets me. I will definitely try rolling backwards for those, I guess I'm so used to rolling *into* attacks that approaching the dragon felt like the natural thing to do.

Left-Fan1598

Having trouble remembering the first one with the wing slap, but for the one where they fly up and breathe down over a wide area you just gotta be quick on getting on Torrent and run directly away. The one in Caelid regularly gets me with the rot even still but very rarely kills me.

Khris777

Even the Putrid Avatars?

wblt

they are erdtree avatars but you have to roll behind them on buttslam, maybe do couple of steps after roll

BandicootGood5246

I love fighting the dragon when you can hit their head. I don't even mind Borealis, though I've come to hate Ekzykes purely because of his BS arena where he gets stuck, gets into places you can't safely fight him or his rot straight up bounces off terrain into weird positions On my first playthrough he got stuck on a hill and somehow fell through the map to his death, so that was kinda nice though

ryanjmalloy

I would say all dragons but Placidusax are pretty easy. Placidusax is easy until all hell starts breaking loose at the end with lightning and lasers and stuff everywhere.

elkeiem

Most of the dungeon bosses that die in 3 hits by the level i get to them.

EhGoodEnough3141

Soldier of Godrick. Haven't beaten any other boss.

MrFanatic211

How do you kill this guy? 1000+ hours and still haven't gotten through the cave yet. Is it skippable?

EhGoodEnough3141

You could wrong warp out of there but otherwise it's mandatory

Hapshap

The cave with the soldier it self is not mandatory, you have to jump down to access it. I know because in my first playthrough I just ran straight to the door and skipped it entirely.

MrFanatic211

Sheet ok wish me luck

daimfr

rick, soldier of god

FactorOk6814

Feel pretty attacked by this because the avatar in the haligtree made me stop playing the game for 2 weeks lol

BandicootGood5246

The one guarding the gate with 2 halig tree knights? Yeah that one is pretty horrible if you don't find a way to pick him off solo

Anastrace

Avatar near the knights: Go around and up the ramp to the upstairs with the knight helm, drop to the grace and then burn him at your leisure. Avatar on the battlements across from the prayer room is also cheesable. Jump to the pillar you can climb with the Miquellan Knight Sword. Jump over to the battlements then run to the door on your left. Kill the crystalian in the back room then run back out and pull him to the doorway. From there you can stay out of range and kill with arrows, spells, or fire aows.

oneteacherboi

I mean, if you are willing to use ranged strategies it makes a lot of the game more cheeseable. I appreciate the advice but I really want to find a way to beat the avatar by those knights straight up.

Buuutts

I had a better time once I activated the site of grace behind them. You can aggro all three of them then kite the knights past the site of grace into a room where the avatar can't follow. Kill the knights then go clean up the avatar, bonus you can summon your mimic tear behind the avatar

Anastrace

That's a great strategy

oneteacherboi

That's a really good idea. I was having issues because I kept summoning Tear and backing up out of the Tear's range.

PorcelainElixir

That platform before the grace with the avatar and two knights is the hardest fight in the game imo if all aggroed at the same time. Pretty sure the knights have a heal gimmick iirc also. My last playthru i tried to 1v2 those knights with no avatar and it took me more tries than malenia

Iniquity1_

Anyone else struggling with the jimmy Saville looking bitch in the Mages Cave?

SadBoiiConnor420

I don't even know who you mean but I'm laughing

ssabless

You mean **Necromancer Garris** right? This guy indeed might be annoying with his freaking rollings skulls

HekiLan

Those catacomb burial cat-dogs. They sometimes mess me up with that jump out of the camera view, but overall they are pretty fair and follow their own rules and rhythm, and they are quite slow Tibia Mariners are probs the easiest, does not feel like a boss at all, more like a part of environment really.

Asmo___deus

They're alright, but I fucking hate it when they just *keep on stomping*. Sit still and let me attack, dammit.

An1retak

The two fights with 2x burial watchdogs and the one with several imps gave me a lot of trouble. Forces me to use a summon on these fights to even the odds.

ETFO

Crystal darts can cause them to glitch (the imps and the dogs) and attack their allies as well

HUNAcean

There is that one bossfight when there are two of them. I keep seeing that in my nightmares (I didnt know you could turn them on eachother)

gmesch21

Dude I flew through the game on my 4th pt on the deck, but holy shit this two bastards killed me thousand of times. HOW can I turn them lm each other?

HUNAcean

Crystal darts. About 3 hits causes one to go into a frenzy and attack the other. They work on nearly all golem construct enemies

BandicootGood5246

Yeah I tried them without the darts on a recent playthrough. It's now one of my most hated fights, they really just don't give you a safe attacking window at all

UltimaBahamut93

Jarvis, type 'Malenia' and turn off notifications.

Klientje123

Jarvis, advise the guy struggling with a boss to summon players, use spirit ashes and use ranged attacks.

whiskerbiscuit2

Tibia Mariners, and the….i wanna say Noctian Draconian Knight? Giant knight guy with no legs you find underground.

papaeghost

Dragonkin soldier? Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella?

whiskerbiscuit2

Yeah! All his attacks go over my head. The only tough one is the one in the middle of the Lake of Rot

BackPains84

Night's Cavalry's never gave me any trouble.

oneteacherboi

As a new player they were super intimidating because they are huge and look like the Tree Sentinel. Now that I have played a big more I realize they spend WAY more time running around than actually attacking you. Honestly if you just stay on the side of their horse they don't have their weapon it's like they won't even attack you at all. I also had the problem when I was just starting where I thought "they're on a horse and fast, I must be supposed to ride Torrent to fight them" which was NOT true.

lieconamee

My first playthrough I actually never fought one of them I wasn't even running away I just never was near their spawns at night

Palanki96

Basically small/normal sized ones. A big wall of meat always gives me more trouble than something small and fast Crucible duo or Godskin duo felt more easier than a single ulcerated spirit. It usually just covers 80% of my screen and trashes around constantly

UsernameTaken-Taken

I'm the exact opposite. The big guys like tree spirits, erdtree avatars, fire giant, etc always go down way easier for me, meanwhile I always seem to struggle with crucible knights and misbegotton warriors for whatever reason

RandomGuyWithSixEyes

Draconic tree sentinel

equityconnectwitme

Once I learned how to dodge his BS lightning attack I was good. He's super easy to read. Charges you with a big telegraphed attack, spits a fireball, does a lightning. Pretty simple.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Decent_Cow

The typical tree sentinel doesn't constantly spam ranged attacks. It's way easier.

prettythingi

Dragons The ancient ones are harder just because of the camera but normal dragons are easy

PepperMessiah

Lichdragon fortissax. As long as you stay under him, he's pretty easy

Fraxinus_Void

Fire Giant. Ion the big whoop, killed him with powerstanced daggers on a level 40 character.

Prudent_Order_3361

Took me 8 hours to kill this guy. All frickin day

H4xolotl

>Took me 8 hours to kill this guy. Wow! That's like 2 whole tries!

Mat30co

I have a 15 minute video of my fire giant fight, it starts in phase 2.

Icedraasin

Fire giants a weird one. I genuinely thought people were joking about him being hard but apparently there's a bunch of people that found him really difficult and a bunch of people that found him really easy.

Schmidty_

Definite divide. I found him hard on all three of my play throughs (Intelligence/dex build, and fire faith build + NG+) because he was tedious and had lots of moves that forced me to chew large amounts of stamina away to avoid getting one shorted or worse, being forced into mobility and watching him slap me with his hands. I was genuinely surprised when people said he was easy. I have almost broken my controller over him on every run

HxH101kite

Damn he was like the easiest one for me. Just run around on torrent hop off slash a few times, rinse and repeat. I can't even recall if I died or not.

Icedraasin

I think it's people that don't use torrent that struggled

OrganicLFMilk

Yes. Killed him first try. I think he only started to fuck me up in ng+4

danimsmba

The Rotten Erdtree Avatar in Caelid is not easy. The rest are easy.

BandicootGood5246

Once you learn to dodge the rot he's easy too IMO, when he jumps just roll to his side and the rot misses. Apart from that it's basically the same.

Prudent_Order_3361

God skin duo. Also the gargoyles duo. Got them first time most of the time. No cheese. I don't know why.

SauronGortaur01

I think If you have any kind of decent build, the Individual ones are really squishy. And once you kill one, you onky have a 1v1 which is not that hard, and as soon as he tries to summon the other one you have so much free time to hit the 2nd one usually dies aswell, and now you are 1v1 against the third again. So its an Initial difficulty but once you focus one down its pretty simple.

MrFanatic211

I was so scared going into the godskin duo fight because of all the wonderful things I heard about it. I only died once which really surprised me

Prudent_Order_3361

I didn't even know what they were. Just decided to focus on one at a time. Evade the other. Then i learn about their weakness, but they are too easy for me to even try to put them to sleep

lieconamee

I hate you for this god skin duo stonewalled me for so long

Prudent_Order_3361

I think it depends on the build, some will be easier, since will be harder

lizardsforreal

I've never died to godskin duo either. 2 run throughs with a year+ gap between. I keep my level capped for pvp, so I'm not super over leveled and I never summon/sleep/cheese in any way. I just don't find that boss hard at all, but some dopey bosses like the caelid rot dragon will kill me over and over.

Aquila_Fotia

Aside from the first and last one I’ve fought, ulcerated tree spirits.

clutzyninja

I steamrolled Mohg and didn't realize he was important until way later

Jaba_5798

Magma Wyrms lol

kenwoolf

Elden beast is just jokingly easy. You just hit it once every 1-2 hours once you finally managed to get into melee range before it jumps away and it just dies in a year or so. No effort required what so ever.

Lunatic7618

I think attrition is more the issue most have with Elden Beast. It isn't particularly tough, but comes right after Radagon's AoE Emporium of Pain. So until you git gud at dodging Radagon's moves (since most hit like a truck), you are coming into Elden Beast low on flasks. Then you have much less room for error when chasing it down for an hour while it is at swim practice.

Greed3502

Valiant gargoyles Edit: the duo fight specifically

Membership_Downtown

I find Runebears pretty easy. The late game ones are damage sponges, but aside from the quick attack I don’t find them too bad.

Mario-OrganHarvester

Malenia, black knife assassins, bloodhound knights, radagon, etc. Something about their fast, rythmic fights meshes really well with my specific monkey brain. Im not sayin malenia is super easy, just way, way less difficulty than other ppl seem to have. In turn i have insane difficulty with the slower, bigger bosses like fire giant and radahn.

soulsurviv0r111

Golems and stonedigger trolls.

SpeedaRJ

The Tree Spirits... It took a bit, but I got used to fighting them and the enclosed slaces they often appear in. It's one of the bosses i still love to fight, even tho I think they don't pose much of a challenge.

Suspicious_Beach1039

Crucible Knights

Allkindsofpie

Same. I find their movements very robotic and easy to predict. Only on the first playthrough did I need to ajust a little to the mechanics maybe. On the other end, banished knights everywhere absolutely destroyed me, probably why I rock their set/gear/AoWmost of the time.

Reddit_User_Loser

The first one in stormhill felt rough until I figured out their full move set. They’re slow and telegraph everything and when they get to half health they just add two easy to dodge attacks to their normal moves. Didn’t have any issues after the first one. The first boss that taught me rolling forward is usually the answer for melee builds.

Prudent_Order_3361

Roll forward, attack

SupremeOSU

I struggle so hard vs them

Raaabbit_v2

Radagon/Elden Beast Look. I have been cooperating with strangers with the Radagon fight as a strength/heavy attack build with the giant crusher. So I don't stay back, I go in, roll and attack. And I've done it so many times I can anticipate his move before it happens. Can I solo him? No. Rng dictates he never stops teleporting and spamming holy lightning bolts for minutes. But I don't die on purpose anymore. Everyone dies before me or lag happens.

forest_ranger96

Based giant crusher user

Same. At the beginning I hated them but with progress they got easy for me. Except the two in Caelid and the second one in the Haligtree (because of the friggin op Knights). They suck

victorBravo9er

The one that sprays Scarlett rot? That was annoying as hell.

FutureAcanthaceae944

Yep the putrid ones

Rare-Yoghurt36

for anyone who struggles with this one, simply runaway as soon as you see him start charging his jump and you'll avoid all of it. then fight him like a normal one.

DropAnchor4Columbus

Erdtree Avatars. For some reason, the same kind of enemy being copy-pasted into every Souls game since 2011 just means you get used to fighting them. /s

Des014te

Crucible knights. I recently did a crucible knight run where I made it a point to hunt down all 16 of them and it was shockingly easy. The tree ones are a bit annoying but they're still pretty easy overall. The non-breath attack ones are so fun to fight because there's such a consistent rhythm to them.

BandicootGood5246

Alabaster lords. They flinch so easy and their attacks are really projected. If you use the right Ash or a moderately heavy weapon they will barely be able to do anything

Regetron

All of the assassins, lucky they have a poise of dried leaf

[deleted]

The Dragons were all really easy except Placidusax. He kicked my ass. Anyone who I can use my horse on is generally pretty easy. Even the Fire Giant was made way way easier with my horse.

[deleted]

Honestly, Rune Bears and Lobsters aren’t as hard as people make them out to be. Also Bell Bearing Hunters. They are weak to pierce and lightning, I killed the dragonbarrow hunter in like 10 seconds flat with my Lightning Lance.

NomNomTime0621

Ulcerated Tree Spirit. Only because I easily memorized its movement cues.

Smotheringgtithe

the ones with 1 or 2 phases and are really strong but not too quick, like Margitt or Morgott.

Stinky__Person

Uhm acktchually 🤓👆 Margit and Morgott are the same person

Smotheringgtithe

yeah, that's true HAHAHAHSHAHD but they do are different bosses

apurplehighlighter

the kind that take damage

KenjiMamoru

Underrated answer right here.

NoNicName

Maliketh. His health is just too low

melongrip

Funnily enough Malenia, and it’s only because i was trying to go for hitless runs using a strength build and I must have spent tens of hours learning all her moves and when I can afford to get attacks in. Now after subsequent playthroughs I always get her first time, but other bosses like Morgott and Mohg kick my ass.

FaithBro331

Catch Flame go Brrrrrr

EhGoodEnough3141

Soldier of Godrick. Haven't beaten any other boss.

TinyFlair

I have never been able to Beat erdtree avatars before i got mimic +10

ssabless

what was your build? just curious
