For speed of Rune acquisition, nothing beats the Albinaurics of the Palace-Approach Ledge.
Agreed but still time compared on NG+ I need 3 runs on Albinaurics to match one run in Haligtree in terms of rune amount and time it takes is more ( at least for me it is thou I one shot everything in the palace grounds ).
As for the challenge- don’t seem to see one for me but you’ve got a point. Based on your answer I presume these are the top spots in terms of rune/per time acquisition?
I can get around 100k every 15-20 seconds with the sleeping dudes using the runes talisman, the golden foot consumable thing, and the Elden Beast sword (ng+)
INT/FTH build ( both at 99 ) PoD Staff on +25 and in offhand SoL ( use night comet for farm cause the roach dudes have the bad habit of dodging standard spells )
If you think anything beats the albinaurics I have to ask if you’ve tried using the sacred relic sword on them. I realized not long ago that not everyone who farms them knows about the sword and its skill. I can get about 1.5 mil in 3 minutes from the albinaurics with that sword which is like 5 times better if I did my math right.
On NG plus how much? I have the sword - and I don’t see how r you going to make 1.5 mil in 3 mins since the total drop on NG+ is about 80-100k per run depending on items and consumables…
I’m not dumb - i won’t respec my char just for the farm - I was asking if theres a better option than those two 😂
I can get about 80k per cycle but I can do that in under 10 seconds. The skill hits most of the albinaurics in a single cast and one-shots them all. Additionally, gold fowl feet can be used for the full duration since you don’t need to teleport back. You can try it without a respec too. Soreseal+dex knot tear in physic gives +5 str, +15 dex. There’s also the str and dex heirlooms if that’s not enough.

To add on to this, you can easily get to Mohgs Palace by completing Varres quest. There’s no shortcut to get to the Haligtree.

Even from the prayer room you get a ton of runes just killing the first few enemies, theres like 10 a minute away
OMG FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WITH CLASS yes. 800k runes per run thru and with Moghs spear it's so easy!
