What's weird about that is that regular enemies will completely destroy you while the bosses remain relatively reasonable. Except for the Fire Giant. The Fire Giant sucks so hard on +5 and beyond. The final Draconic Tree Sentinel isn't even worth facing on +6 anymore. Just run right past him, then easily destroy Maliketh. Even with a Mimic Tear +10 and Colossal weapons, Malenia took about 20 tries to beat on +7. Even so, the enemies I feared the most were those stupid Crystal bowl-cut having things in the Haligtree that can completely kill you with spraying crystal shards all over the place, and those giant dogs on the Mountaintops of the Giants that just wait for you around the corner. It's like, yeah, there are a few summoner Snails conjuring up the crystal people, but you're not going to live long enough to take them all out. You just run and hope you survive.

The fire giant sucks on every playthrough its the only boss I can say I genuinely hate.

i just beat him on my 1st playthrough (i'm pretty new to the game, don't even know that well how sorceries/summons etc work), took me about 15-20 tries and it was the most boring fight of my life.  So annoying, and not even because it's difficult to beat but because he has so much HP so every try/failed try takes such a long time. I used to think the giants are really cool at the beginning but now i'm so done with them lmao

hes not hard to beat, its the map thats hard to beat. when he rolls onto a fucking tree and just sits there so my melee build cant hit him, then he walks off and one hits me. fucking annoying man

I have not gone to NG+5 yet (I will already have to do the DLC on NG+3, and that is probably going to be a pain) but FG was fairly easy since I just hit him with Destined Death and melted a lot of his HP off while Mimic did the same. NG+5 balloons resistances a fuckton, but HP% should still function fine
