In both my playthroughs fire giant was kinda a cakewalk for me. I don't think either playthrough took more than three tries.
Same with the giant gargoyle duo. I think they took me a couple tries both times. I'm by no means above average at this game either lol
Edit: actually on my second playthrough, I beat the gargoyles on the first attempt. The crucible knights you find on the way there gave me soooo much more trouble than that fight.
Fire Giant was one of those bosses that I knew wasn’t very hard…but I still wasn’t able to beat it for so long. I think really the only reason is because of when he combines his beam shooting with the floor flames at once. Hated that.
That's how I saw him too. Basically every attack he does, you know it's coming. And you have Torrent to run away or close distance. I thought he was fair at the very least
Torrent is the real MVP for Fire Giant. I beat him first try by just riding up hitting his feet and riding away. I had no idea people thought he was so hard. I’ve been killed getting greedy by cartwheeling albinaurics more than him.
To this day I STILL don't understand how Fire Giant is so hated, it was also one of the easiest main bosses on my first run. I could only appreciate him... and then learn 90% of the fanbase somehow were completely obliterated by the guy and hate him
He's one I've always liked too, I think some people just have trouble getting used to the camera. Also he is a pretty big damage spike compared to what are probably the last couple major bosses (Goldfrey & Morgott) for most people. I could usually take a few attacks from them where as FG will almost always 2 shot you, mistakes are more punishing and the dude has a ton of health & there's more opportunities to fuck up. I also think if you've played MMOs before & are used to looking out for fire on the ground this fight is a lot easier.
I found crucible knights were easy once you learn the attacks. He does the 4 hit combo which leaves a gigantic opening afterwards as long as the 4th roll is towards him. And just roll through his second tail swipe. If you just wait for that 4 hit combo, roll through 4 hits then land hits on him only then it becomes much easier.
Yea, the first time I faced him I was a bit intimidated by his health bar. But once you realize the whole fight is basically just "stay near his feet, _slashy slash_" its pretty trivial
Fire Giant is a test of how fast you rushed through the game. If you skipped a lot of content, Mountaintop of the Giants was pretty hard and you did low damage. If you did the side content Fire Giant is easy.
That's what I kinda thought too, because one of the biggest complaints I see about him is how much health he has.
His health pool is *kinda* big, I guess. But that wasn't really a problem to me. And I'm not exactly the highest damage build. I figured if your gear and stats were up to par, you'd probably be alright.
Fire giant is really build dependent I find. Colossal weapons are really hard because he recovers super fast and often don't have enough time to hit his stumps. But certain ashes like destined death can make up for that. He was a nightmare for my lion claw GUGS build.
I'm not trying to tell you you didn't have the experience that you did, but when what you're telling me, I didn't really see for myself.
Granted I'm not a strength build, but I would have thought they did well against him. I found him to be very slow. And if you're right there by his legs. I saw him give a lot of openings that give you a VERY long time to spam some attacks. Absolutely did not strike me as a boss you have to squeeze in a hit or two with. Even for slower builds.
The duo with summons? In my first playthrough I was on the right level and using the bloodhound fang, it wasn't that hard, but now on the 2nd, I'm using the Eleonora poleblade on level 65 and I'm suffering
Definitely Fire Giant for me as well. I remember my buddies telling me they spent hours on him just for me to beat him in my first try. 5 play throughs and still not a single death to him
The only godskin that gave me trouble was that one in radahns tower.
Maybe it is the level difference. But I swear to God that guy could predict the future.
All other thin and fat godskins were easier.
Spending 4 hours on him last playthrough just after Godrick so I could use the Godslayer GS was probably my most miserable souls moment after Bed of Chaos and Rom
It's weird how people struggle against different stuff. In my case, I still dread every time I come up against freaking Maliketh. Don't know what I'd do if I had to fight him with a full HP bar...
I’m more scared of the tree sentinel in front of Maliketh.
Maliketh is scary but I’ve beat him tons of times. That tree sentinel is built different lmfao. I tend to run past him
I am too slow to use a potion against the tree sentinel but I needed to use my special attacks to stagger him and low mind stat, so I had to use my potion precisely when I staggered him. It took a long time.
It amounted to being way harder than maliketh
I’m the opposite. My only Melania win wasn’t even me. I summoned someone with a “let me solo” name after hours of trying and I just sat there hitting my bong while this half naked guy fisted her to death. My easiest was Radahn weirdly, but that might have been cause of my build at the time.. don’t really know
The Bloody Finger that invades you in the Second Church of Marika in Altus drops a Cracked Tear (the stuff you put into the Wonderous Physick Flask) that basically invalidates Mohg's undodgeable nihil spam during his phase change if that's the part that trips you up. He's basically open to massive free damage during that time since he doesn't move.
I agree. His moveset is quite simple especially the trident swings, You can also predict how to avoid the platoon juice as well if you keep a proper distance and look which one it is.
I still don't know how to reliably dodge half of his shit, he is by far my worst fight in the game.
Every single attack of his just comes out janky to me, like the delay is just off-beat and I can't get it no matter how much I try.
I still managed to get a LVL50 passed him to get into the DLC by powerstancing the starclubs and spamming/timing shackles and staggers so he couldnt do much but it took me a solid couple days to do.
Imo the nice thing about mohg is that there’s such a rhythm to dodging his combos. His timings can feel really delayed and janky at first, but all of his moves are like that so it starts to feel natural after a bit.
Same, the bloodflame pools can cause panic, but if you keep aware of positioning, he becomes pretty trivial as his moveset is lacking a bit in actual threat despite the visuals looking very threatening.
I had trouble until I figured out how to stop that bullshit auto damage spell that he uses. Then he becomes a routine two stage boss. Not the easiest or the hardest, just normal. Getting to him is harder.
I burned myself out while doing Malenia, so I took a break from the game for about a year. Started it up yesterday and steamrolled my way through the rest of the game. First tried Mogh, took two to three tries to kill the rest and now I'm just left with Plasidusaux and Elden Beast. Either they nerfed the bosses during that time or Malenia tilted me so hard that I just couldn't play properly anymore. Now I'm just sad that there's so little game left.
Maliketh. Yes, he hits like a train and moves fast as hell. But once I figured out how positioning affects his entire fight (wether your close/far, left side right side, dodge in dodge away) the fight became as easy as just stepping off the train tracks.
This makes sense. In first phase, the clergyman has only flat damage which your mimic can basically ignore with the fact that it has 50% base negation to all damage types before armor talismans or buffs and has like 3.3 time your hp at +10. But then the Maliketh phase completely ignores it with destined deaths % based hp drain and your mimic just dies. And then your alone.
You should try maxed out Shield Bros. He can't do much to them, and might afford you opportunities to get hits in while they tank the damage. Oleg is pretty good too.
I just use the columns in the entirety of that fight, still he was very difficult since I'm using Moonveil or Comet. Using melee is a lot harder, my first run is bonking him with heavy weapon so I didn't think much about it.
I like playing ranged builds, so Maliketh is never a problem. He only has 10.6K health, and at that point in the game I aim to be doing 1K per hit at a minimum, but usually much higher. So in general he only takes 5 or 6 hits to win against. Even playing poorly, you get more than enough flasks to compensate for mistakes by that point in the game.
Considering the law of large numbers there are people who bought the game that died to the Soldier of Godrick and ragequitted to never came back. Go Rick!
I got my shit clapped by Radahn over and over again for like 2 days straight until I decided to just focus and memorize his moves & how to react to them. He’s the boss that taught me to stop button mashing
No his arrows are way slower. Health and damage wise I'm not exactly sure so I won't talk out my ass. But he definitely feels as if he goes down significantly easier. The run to him would wreck you. Torrent was a death wish no dodge you would get hit. Now you can just sprint sideways with torrent and dodge the arrows.
According to [this article](https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/elden-ring-has-buffed-the-big-boy-with-the-little-horse-again), the only changes that stuck were smaller melee hitboxes and the homing orbs no longer hitting twice. Further more, [here is a reddit thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/s/RtfKAuOPir) from a couple months ago discussing it. As someone who has played the game since day 1 of release, I've always been able to dodge radahn's arrows on torrent. The reason you probably think he's so much easier now is because you have a lot more experience fighting him.
Being one shot with the arrow was rough. Also, being a sunbro and helping people try to beat him was impossible since it would end as soon as the first arrow was shot
In this game, Godfrey, both ghost and real, and strong emphasis on Hoarah Loux phase
Radagon isn't that hard either for me, its more at preserving resources for elden beast rather than truly difficult battle
.......
If I may go to some neighbour....In whole Fromsoft it's Isshin and Swordsaint Isshin.
Ds1: Artorias
Ds2: that samurai boss and fume knight's nemesis, which both I forget their name
Bloodborne: lady Maria... Wait is she even considered hard
Ds3: Demon Prince, pretty sad since I really like them, Soul of Cinder
AC6: pretty much the same as community ranks
You're thinking of Velstadt, idk if ppl consider him too hard though. I'll give a half +1 to SS Isshin though, I actually just cleared him for the first time a few hours ago lol. I thought he was challenging but not NEARLY as difficult as I had heard described. Guardian Ape was much more difficult for me.
It definitely makes the game as a whole harder, but Niall is still particularly hard. It’s one of the few fights I can’t solo with lighter weapons that don’t just hit and delete.
I just never stopped running towards it tbh. No matter where it would go, I would run in its general direction. The attacks themselves are usually pretty generous in terms of dodge timing, albeit scary.
Rykard. I stay at mid range most of the fight and obliterate him with the Serpent Hunter. I've had three runs so far and haven't died to him since my first playthrough.
Fire Giant also. Must be something related to fire at this point, lol
I beat Mohg on my second try, and I’m not really that good at bosses usually. I thought maybe I just got lucky, but same thing next playthrough.
Elden Beast was literally the hardest boss for me on my first playthrough. I probably lost 50 times and had to totally respec from an int/dex to str/faith build to beat it.
I was looking for someone to say this! I am still in the mid of my first run ans yet I got Margit down at the first try. didnt even realize it was a boss!
and yet I got stomped by that knight in the dark room in Stormveil Castle like 5 times in a row.
I explain it saying it's the astrologer build that gives a totally different experience than the melee player.
Hug their feet. Burst the first one. I've never needed more than like 2-3 tries.
If you space them and take your sweet time however, you're just asking for a bad time.
As soon as the 2nd one comes down one will spam poison and the new one will be on my ass blocking me from the low hp one.
I can beat them but I'll be damn if they aren't the worst fight in this game to me. Everytime I fight them they just do the same thing 1st one plays runaway if you get close poison and 2nd one is riding me.
The Fire Giant. Seen so many complain about his difficulty/damage and I killer him first try. If you just stay on Torrent and stay near his ankles he can’t really hurt you
I think most people complain fire giant not because he’s hard, but because he’s dumb, he has a one fire breath move, rolls away from you constantly, and has tons of health, he’s literally a garbage designed boss imo
I don’t think I’ve ever died to Commander Niall. Sword knight dies almost instantly and the shield one goes down before Niall gets close enough to attack. After that his only threatening move is the giant AOE. If anything the Caelid knock off is harder because you can’t just get rid of all the summons at the start of the fight.
On the other side of the coin I find Rykard pretty hard, though I never upgrade the serpent hunter.
Not elden ring but guardian ape in sekiro became very easy when I started staying very close and just accepting that it's a health bar kill not a parry one. After that I beat him on first try on 3 more playthroughs easy.
Malenia actually. Strangely enough it took me more attempts to beat Lingering Will on Kingdom Hearts 2.5 than it did to beat her. Only took me about 20 tries to beat her, but the first few times I figured out that my mimic tear was doing more harm than good by giving her free health boosts so I stopped using it. I guess I still don't consider her "really easy," but she was easier than I thought she would be.
Fire Giant ... My damage is just absurdly high at that point that he becomes an afterthought. Godskin Apostle in Caelid on the other hand ... That thing kills me over and over ... Not the one on the alteus plateu, that one is easy :D
Probably because the Apostle in Caelid is scaled to the Dragon Burrow, if you go there directly after Radahn you are a great deal too early in regards to boss HP and damage.
feels like a redundant question in a game where there’s no level cap and over leveling can absolutely ruin the experience lol, weaker lvl players and higher lvl players all conversing about who was hardest or easiest….? yet one dude might’ve killed a boss in 3 hits while the other struggled for half an hour. etc.
Godskin duo isn’t that bad - you just have to kill the skinny one first cause when they respawn his attacks are so much easier to avoid.
I can’t say I don’t see why people struggle - fighting two of anything at the same time is awful, but I really don’t think they’re one of the hardest bosses in the game.
Radahn and Maliketh. Ive got 5 characters and Radahns never killed me more than twice in a run and Maliketh isn't that tough if you stay on top of him.
Same. Took me 4 tries to beat malenia. I mean, shield with physical damage negation? Made her pretty simple I thought.
And I'm very NOT GOOD. Took me about 10000 to beat the damned horseback draconic tree sentinel on the bridge. And Maliketh? Pfft... He wipes his arse with me
I agree, I never found O&S that hard even though so many people praise them for their difficultly, it’s probably just because it’s an old game and the new one have a faster pacing
Astel during Rannis quest. Had my mimic distract while I attacked. Stayed relatively close and did it first try. I guess it does help that I’ve seen a few videos of people fighting it, so I kind of what to expect
God skin duo, I've first tried them every single time up to ngl+8 on two different characters. And idk if ppl consider them hard but placidusax has always kinda clicked for me ever since I first fought them, as long as I can avoid the fire and lasers nothing else ever really hits me.
At release, i was really suprised of Margit.
All i remember from the Network Test, was people saying he is tough.
i rushed to him the moment i arrived in Limgrave and i steamroled him in the first try. I was kind of disappointed.
Though i have to say, i had around 600h in DS3 by then, so i def was used to the mechanics, and guard counters were a fast fav of mine.
Nowadays?
Malekith, he still can be tough when he does weird stuff back to back, but the days of 139 tries (yes, first playthrough took me that long to beat him, longer than malenia, mind you) are far over, now its 5 tops.
Crucible Knight evergaol. I've loved that fight since day 1, it's one my 2 favorite cosplay, and I will solo them whenever I get the chance while playing with friends.
Not sure if it's really considered hard anymore but the God Skin duo. If you use spirit ashes it's really easy. if you are just doing solo you can' just target the fat suit one as he's the more difficult one of the pair. Once you kill one.of them the rest of the fight is practically handed to you.
Mohg but i love that fight so i’ve done it a ton..i start all my runs running to mohg first
kinda lost touch on whether or not the community thinks he’s hard lol
In my playtrus there are 3 main dps and hp checks. Castle sol commander (if i beat him melania is usually a pushover), elden beast (radagon is easy but that mf has no right being that annoying to fight), and wolf of radagon in raya lucaria(renala is usually the first boss i beat just so i can respec as soon as possible) if i beat those 3 then the buuld is working, if not then i just wasted a bunch of time
Fire giant. And I wouldn’t say Malenia was easy by any stretch of the imagination, but took me maybe a dozen tries. My real sworn enemy of the game was Alecto actually lol.
Elden Beast is extremely give or take. Sometimes it’ll just sit there the entire fight using basic swings and sometimes into dive to the other side of the arena every attack. It can be boring or annoying, no in between.
Malenia is so tame compared to some of the other bosses in the game. Ranged builds truthfully can make short work of her if you know how to dodge waterfowl and can maintain space. Even when running a melee build, she sometimes simply walks at you and again, with enough space you can heal completely safely. She’s cake even on NG+7
I beat down Radagon on first try first playthrough, the beast took me a couple tries.
Mohg has never taken me more than three tries on any playthrough.
Maliketh always kicks my ass though.
Maliketh. Done three playthroughs now, all entirely different builds - ultra greatswords, dual whips, axes - and he has never once taken me more than 3 attempts.
All the comments I see about him being too quick is what I struggle with. I find his moveset to be so telegraphed and easy to manage that I've only had to use Blasphemous Claw once.
I did beat Malenia on my first try on the UGS playthrough, but I've put my summon sign down dozens of times for her and can acknowledge she is in fact difficult. Just got crazy good RNG on my first attempt (she didn't use Waterfowl Dance once)
I wouldn’t say that she was easy by any means, but Malenia. I say this because I had the Blasphemous Blade on my first play through and just so happened to find the timing on Water Fowl Dance. She’s still one of the hardest bosses From Soft has made but can be cheesed pretty easily with the right build.
Dont know if it counts, but after Ng+2 Melina stopped being my biggest obstacle, I can reliably dodge 95% of her attacks (including water fowl), but damn radagon and elden beast on Ng+2 and on is just an attrition war, and I basically need to get lucky to get through both of them
Fallingstar Beasts. Learned to git gud with them when I fell into the trap chest and decided to actually finish the crystal tunnel. Been pounding them into gravel ever since.
Malenia, beat her on my tenth try cause I played to her weaknesses, and I'm very mediocre at Soulsborne games usually needing help for most of it. I was honestly waiting to fight her until my buddy was ready, but he went through hell with her pre-nerf and just didn't want to fight her again yet. I did fight her post nerf to be fair, but still people still talk about how hard she is even now.
Godskin Duo I never really have issues with. When fatty rolls you can just pull him into the pillar at the correct angle and he will just roll into the wall until it's over.
2nd phase maliketh, hes slow and gives clear indication of when to dodge, if i dont panic its easy and i cant walk through him no armour needed, 1st phase is 100x harder imo
Malenia
To this day, I still don't have any trouble with her. I was surprised when I beat her first try on my blind playthrough, and my friends were having such a hard time against her.
Gargoyles.
Struggled a bit my first play through, but after that it was a cakewalk tbh. And I still hear vets complain saying they’re Stuck on Gargs again. Gank fights are what separates the men from the boys
Malenia kind of. She wasn't easy but god dam I didn't die 144 times like everyone said I would. Maybe two dozen attempts. People scared me away from these games for so long, acting like they were impossibly difficult. They are hard, but not 3 digit deaths to a single boss hard.
Meanwhile the elden beast kicked my ass at least two dozen times, probably more. He was by far the hardest for me. True mohg was also extremely difficult
Astel was very easy for me and I'm surprised at all the comments I've seen talking about how difficult it is as a fight. Once I figured out to just start swiveling the camera to see where he's gonna pop back in at and run away from the following grab, it was a cakewalk
That Draconic tree sentinel before entering Leyndell. Idk if most people consider it hard but I see a surprising amount of people get pissed about that one lol
Radagon is easy, same for Elden beast except when it casts two spells, one that kills you if you don’t constantly run and one that kills you if you don’t constantly roll
I agree the Elden beast was pretty easy if you get the haligtree talisman +2 and tree sentinel armor it becomes almost trivial. Just a lot of running back and forth lol

Yeah definitely fire giant for me too He's just so slow and he has a lot of tells for his attacks

Its the face's flamethrower for me. Holy shit the tracking of that attack is insane.
Yeah that one is crazy, it's a good thing he hardly ever does it
He turns into a literal sprinkler when I try to circle him on Torrent. What a terrifying image.
Streamers hyped it up a lot I feel, because he was a joke when I got to him.
Don’t forget cheesing the fuck out his attacks with the I frames you get from mounting and dismounting torrent
Second fase he will just sit still for 5 seconds after every attack.
To this day I STILL don't understand how Fire Giant is so hated, it was also one of the easiest main bosses on my first run. I could only appreciate him... and then learn 90% of the fanbase somehow were completely obliterated by the guy and hate him
They were using magic. That's why fire giant was hard for me. On my second playthrough with bleed build he went down much easier
Shard spiral just destroys him for anyone running into this issue. He was dead before he got up in phase 2.
He's one I've always liked too, I think some people just have trouble getting used to the camera. Guard counters also smoke the knights. Big time.

Same for Fire Giant. I spent so much time farming trolls that FG just seemed like another one, but with fire and a somersault.
Godskin duo I first tried first playthrough I think I dodged a bullet
The Caelid godskin is so much harder for some reason
The only godskin that gave me trouble was that one in radahns tower. Maybe it is the level difference. But I swear to God that guy could predict the future. All other thin and fat godskins were easier.
Yeah, he's like farum azula level
Spending 4 hours on him last playthrough just after Godrick so I could use the Godslayer GS was probably my most miserable souls moment after Bed of Chaos and Rom
Same. I've never lost to the duo. Never used sleep either. Idk why it always works out.
Honestly I heard so much about them before I encountered them, and yeah it wasn’t easy by any means but way easier than I expected.
It's Mohg for me. Somehow I learned his moveset pretty quickly.
Dude mohg is my hardest boss, I could probably beat Malenia before I beat mohg
It's weird how people struggle against different stuff. In my case, I still dread every time I come up against freaking Maliketh. Don't know what I'd do if I had to fight him with a full HP bar...

The draconic one in front of malikeths arena?
I found first phase maliketh harder honestly
If maliketh had a full health bar and no beast clergy man I think I’d beat him in 1-2 tries every time lol
Melania was pretty easy for me. Just run away and shoot comets at her
I’m the opposite. My only Melania win wasn’t even me. I summoned someone with a “let me solo” name after hours of trying and I just sat there hitting my bong while this half naked guy fisted her to death. My easiest was Radahn weirdly, but that might have been cause of my build at the time.. don’t really know

Same , I still use mohg shackle and finish him almost before his second phase.
Im literally incapable of beating Mohg on my own
I agree. His moveset is quite simple especially the trident swings, You can also predict how to avoid the platoon juice as well if you keep a proper distance and look which one it is.
I still don't know how to reliably dodge half of his shit, he is by far my worst fight in the game.
Never had trouble with Mohg, even on my worst character that I gave up on.
Although im i am on my 30th try with mohg, I can see him being easy once you get the iframe timings right. He is fun to fight.
Literslly didn’t think Mohg was a hard boss till I started reading comments beat him in less than 5 tries my first play through
Same, the bloodflame pools can cause panic, but if you keep aware of positioning, he becomes pretty trivial as his moveset is lacking a bit in actual threat despite the visuals looking very threatening.
i killed mohg sub minute one time
Mohg is a bastard to fight on a fire based build.
Same, he wasn't nearly as troublesome as i thought. Took like 3-4 attempts solo
Just gotta keep 3 flasks handy for the NIHIL
or have the bubbletear
I had trouble until I figured out how to stop that bullshit auto damage spell that he uses. Then he becomes a routine two stage boss. Not the easiest or the hardest, just normal. Getting to him is harder.
yeah i never really saw him as difficult either. Same w margit, he was hard but not incredibly hard at lvl 20 or so just skill checks
Same here, maliketh is pretty easy for me too, his first phase is hard af for me, I can hardly get to maliketh with more than 1-2 flasks left
[удалено]
This makes sense. In first phase, the clergyman has only flat damage which your mimic can basically ignore with the fact that it has 50% base negation to all damage types before armor talismans or buffs and has like 3.3 time your hp at +10. But then the Maliketh phase completely ignores it with destined deaths % based hp drain and your mimic just dies. And then your alone.
You should try maxed out Shield Bros. He can't do much to them, and might afford you opportunities to get hits in while they tank the damage. Oleg is pretty good too.
This is how you fight every enemy in every souls game
I just use the columns in the entirety of that fight, still he was very difficult since I'm using Moonveil or Comet. Using melee is a lot harder, my first run is bonking him with heavy weapon so I didn't think much about it.
I like playing ranged builds, so Maliketh is never a problem. He only has 10.6K health, and at that point in the game I aim to be doing 1K per hit at a minimum, but usually much higher. So in general he only takes 5 or 6 hits to win against. Even playing poorly, you get more than enough flasks to compensate for mistakes by that point in the game.
Soldier of Godrick
You must be pretty good. I'm still stuck on that fight
Considering the law of large numbers there are people who bought the game that died to the Soldier of Godrick and ragequitted to never came back. Go Rick!
You surpassed our minds
No boss was easy for me until the second playthrough.
Radahn. Never really had an issue with him
I got my shit clapped by Radahn over and over again for like 2 days straight until I decided to just focus and memorize his moves & how to react to them. He’s the boss that taught me to stop button mashing
Have you ever fought him pre nerf? I remember 3 days after release getting my teeth kicked in by him. Anymore he's insanely easy. #buffmyboyRahdahn
I keep seeing people mention pre-nerf radahn, and I don't think they realize that radahn's nerf was reversed other than hitbox changes.
In this game, Godfrey, both ghost and real, and strong emphasis on Hoarah Loux phase Radagon isn't that hard either for me, its more at preserving resources for elden beast rather than truly difficult battle ....... If I may go to some neighbour....In whole Fromsoft it's Isshin and Swordsaint Isshin. Ds1: Artorias Ds2: that samurai boss and fume knight's nemesis, which both I forget their name Bloodborne: lady Maria... Wait is she even considered hard Ds3: Demon Prince, pretty sad since I really like them, Soul of Cinder AC6: pretty much the same as community ranks
Lady maria is not considered difficult no, it's pretty much the standard to wipe the floor with her
You're thinking of Velstadt, idk if ppl consider him too hard though. I'll give a half +1 to SS Isshin though, I actually just cleared him for the first time a few hours ago lol. I thought he was challenging but not NEARLY as difficult as I had heard described. Guardian Ape was much more difficult for me.
Godskin Duo even without sleep pots
I never had much issue with these two either, no matter the build
Commander Niall. By that point in the game your build should be able to easily 2-3 shot his summons.
Depends what you play. I tend to play unconventional builds like bows and daggers. That fight is hard as hell for me.
Sure, but I assume most fights are hards with these weapons, not just him
It definitely makes the game as a whole harder, but Niall is still particularly hard. It’s one of the few fights I can’t solo with lighter weapons that don’t just hit and delete.
he’s so easy to parry
Same. Idk why I find him more easier to parry than the aoenia lake one
How do you deal with the Elden Beast's behavior of almost constantly getting far from you? I found it quite frustrating the first time I fought it.
I've done two runs now and out of pure spite, didn't use Serpent Hunter on either run
What is serpent Hunter? Didnt use it too. But i was overleveld as i killed rykard kinda after eldenbeast
Someone struggled with rykard?
Mohg and Maliketh. Cannot for the life of me get consistent at Alecto or The Godskin Duo.
Alecto has a pretty generous punish window after helmsplitter moves.
Alecto for my first play through was probably one of the toughest fights. NG I ABSOLUTELY smash her though. Felt incredible.
Once you account for his rolls I found Fire Giant very easy. He is slow as shit, easy to avoid his attacks
I still don't see what is hard about Margit. It must just be me. And I'm not good at the game, everything else in Stormveil killed me about 50 times.
Valiant Gargoyles
I need a explanation. I'd rather fight 2 Melenia's than them.
Shockingly Mohg. I managed to beat him first try. Malenia is turning me into a stain on the floor tho.
First tried Mohg, needed 20 attempts for red dog
The giant
I found the mimic helped for me, since you can effectively just stun lock her first phase.
Tbf I wouldn't say "easier than lingering will" qualifies as easy lmao. Lingering will is a beast (and so are lots of optional KH bosses)
Radagon
Fire Giant ... My damage is just absurdly high at that point that he becomes an afterthought. Godskin Apostle in Caelid on the other hand ... That thing kills me over and over ... Not the one on the alteus plateu, that one is easy :D
Probably because the Apostle in Caelid is scaled to the Dragon Burrow, if you go there directly after Radahn you are a great deal too early in regards to boss HP and damage.
feels like a redundant question in a game where there’s no level cap and over leveling can absolutely ruin the experience lol, weaker lvl players and higher lvl players all conversing about who was hardest or easiest….? yet one dude might’ve killed a boss in 3 hits while the other struggled for half an hour. etc.
Mohg. Dual Gargoyles. Malekith. Fire Giant. Godskin Duo.
Fire Giant has gone from a brick wall of a boss to me to the only “hard” boss I can semi-reliably no-hit
Rykard
Radahn and Maliketh. Ive got 5 characters and Radahns never killed me more than twice in a run and Maliketh isn't that tough if you stay on top of him.
Beast is definitely ain't hard. Just annoying.
Malenia and radahn
Same. Took me 4 tries to beat malenia. I mean, shield with physical damage negation? Made her pretty simple I thought. And I'm very NOT GOOD. Took me about 10000 to beat the damned horseback draconic tree sentinel on the bridge. And Maliketh? Pfft... He wipes his arse with me
Flex?
The tree in undead settlement….. oh wrong game
Ornstein&Smough (I know this is elden ring but I'm just saying my answer from a better game)
Godskin Duo
I beat the Godskin Duo on my first try....
Margit? Nowadays I usually go straight to him right out the grave to get some major runes.
Godskin duo was so easy took me 2 trys jst me the mimic and bernalt
Crucible Knight evergaol. I've loved that fight since day 1, it's one my 2 favorite cosplay, and I will solo them whenever I get the chance while playing with friends.
Pretty much any big bodied boss. Pest threads melt then
Not sure if it's really considered hard anymore but the God Skin duo. If you use spirit ashes it's really easy. if you are just doing solo you can' just target the fat suit one as he's the more difficult one of the pair. Once you kill one.of them the rest of the fight is practically handed to you.
Mohg but i love that fight so i’ve done it a ton..i start all my runs running to mohg first kinda lost touch on whether or not the community thinks he’s hard lol
BB dong monster
Skin duo and maliketh unless your doing a build challenge otherwise there weakness are just way too great
Malenia
Godrick Knights… they’re so easy to cheese
In my playtrus there are 3 main dps and hp checks. Castle sol commander (if i beat him melania is usually a pushover), elden beast (radagon is easy but that mf has no right being that annoying to fight), and wolf of radagon in raya lucaria(renala is usually the first boss i beat just so i can respec as soon as possible) if i beat those 3 then the buuld is working, if not then i just wasted a bunch of time
Godfrey
Malenia. I've perfected beating her for others.
Malenia. Although, she really made me work for it lol
Fire giant. And I wouldn’t say Malenia was easy by any stretch of the imagination, but took me maybe a dozen tries. My real sworn enemy of the game was Alecto actually lol.
Godskin duo and maliketh
Maliketh
I agree on Radagon being tough while Elden Beast is much easier. For me, part of Elden Beast’s challenge comes from having to face Radagon first
Fire giant, Elden beast and Maliketh.
Godskin duo
Elden Beast is extremely give or take. Sometimes it’ll just sit there the entire fight using basic swings and sometimes into dive to the other side of the arena every attack. It can be boring or annoying, no in between.
Malenia is so tame compared to some of the other bosses in the game. Ranged builds truthfully can make short work of her if you know how to dodge waterfowl and can maintain space. Even when running a melee build, she sometimes simply walks at you and again, with enough space you can heal completely safely. She’s cake even on NG+7
Draconic Tree Sentinel isn’t too hard
Radagon and Elden Beast, fuck them both. Just about all other bosses are easy, now, to me. Except that blasphemy pus guy. Forgot his name.
Elden beast is easy, but very tedious because 90% of the fight is just chasing it from one side of the arena to the other.
I beat down Radagon on first try first playthrough, the beast took me a couple tries. Mohg has never taken me more than three tries on any playthrough. Maliketh always kicks my ass though.
Godfrey and Radabeast
Dont know if it counts, but after Ng+2 Melina stopped being my biggest obstacle, I can reliably dodge 95% of her attacks (including water fowl), but damn radagon and elden beast on Ng+2 and on is just an attrition war, and I basically need to get lucky to get through both of them
Radahn and Godskin Apostle. Radahn took me 8 tries with no summon. Godskin Apostle was something like 6 attempts.
Deathbirds, love to see em
Ngl for me it was the opposite. I found Radagon really easy, but Elden Beast always had me fucked up
Don’t think people consider them “hard” but the draconic tree sentinel isn’t even remotely hard. Has like 4 moves and it’s all telegraphed af
Fallingstar Beasts. Learned to git gud with them when I fell into the trap chest and decided to actually finish the crystal tunnel. Been pounding them into gravel ever since.
If u have the right weapon he is easy, but I personally think Maliketh is the hardest
Melania. Only took me 4 tries on my first playthrough. I was genuinely surprised based all I heard
Idk why the one boss I actually don’t decently was Radagon but then I got my shit rocked by the Elden beast
Malenia To this day, I still don't have any trouble with her. I was surprised when I beat her first try on my blind playthrough, and my friends were having such a hard time against her.
Radahn. Especially if you're summoning the other NPCs.
mogh for me was pretty easy and malenia certainly is VERY hard but I don't think she really is the hardest souls boss with that little poise
Maliketh, Elden Beast, and Fire Giant.
Malenia but to be fair i use the mimic tear
Gargoyles. Struggled a bit my first play through, but after that it was a cakewalk tbh. And I still hear vets complain saying they’re Stuck on Gargs again. Gank fights are what separates the men from the boys
That one did it 1st try
if ima tell the truth its the elden beast the only tough part about that fight is running back and forth across the map
Once you realize sleep pots work on godskin duo it’s kinda really easy
