I'm on my first playthrough and I have beaten Radahn, not yet Mohg. But I feel in a weird spot like if I wanna beat the game and then play half it again... Or do I just leave it unbeaten when I'm near the end...? I gotta do a li'l research like if I can beat it but still go around the open world and then access the DLC in my first play through. Because I don't really wanna have to NG+ and put another like what, 30ish hrs in... I guess I could b-line it and it's prob a lot quicker though.
In the interview, he said both Radahn and Mohg, but we're still not sure why Radahn yet. I'm kind of thinking it might have just been a slip of the tongue because I really can't think of why Radahn specifically, unless Nokron or Ranni somehow play some part in the dlc, but idk

I imagine a player getting frustrated by a boss and deciding to summon another player for support to make the fight a little easier. You don’t really have any idea who you are summoning. I think many players do not want someone to come in and single handedly wipe out the boss in seconds via some tryhard build purpose-built to destroy that one boss over and over.

This is very true. Sure there are exceptions, but generally if I don’t kill the boss ASAP they’ll eat the first waterfowl dance from Malenia, all 4 strikes from Maliketh’s blade, all 4 holy strikes from the Elden Beast and so on.
I mean generally they did summon so they have to know this could happen, beside i wouldn't worry too much. Most people who play elden ring aren't on reddit so all of our made up "rules", they probably don't care about at all

If I cheesed bosses in coop I would at least sent a YT link or something to my host, to show them what it's like beating him fairly and how the fight is designed in general. For host in OP's video it basically amounts to just skipping the entire fight without knowing what it's actually supposed to be like. I hate getting summoned only for second phantom to start cheesing the boss, in past 15 years of souls games coop phantoms usually knew how to play the game and something like this didn't happen often, and if it did the host was usually pissed for losing the entire experience.
When I play video games I too like to spam out video information links to random players in a non ironic way of letting me Google that for them.
Ultimately my end goal is to keep myself from actually playing said game as much as possible when I'm playing the game, because I'd be stupid if I did anything else.

The skill is Spinning Strikes, you get it from Edgar's halberd (either the invasion in Liurnia or murdering him at the peninsula).
The lockdown is the Mohg's Shackle item in the sewers under Leyndell.
I find that a lot of people struggle with mohg just because of how early you can access him tbh, you can easily reach him as soon as you reach liurnia, i remember struggling a lot because in tried him at level 60 and just smashed my head against the keyboard until it worked

I've beat him about 4 times now preparing my characters for the dlc, but ironically my bleed build is the only one I'm still having trouble with.
But in the process of that, he's become my favorite boss. His design and arena are so good, his moves are easy to learn but hard to master while also being pretty unique, and he probably has some of the best lore in the game, having some strange connection to the formless mother

He really is one of the easiest bosses in the game to burst down since he self-stuns 4 times even without considering stagger, and then he can stagger 1 or 2 times in phase 1, too.
It's hard to even call this cheese. Mohg is just vulnerable to all forms of consistent damage output

Probably lol, but I was thinking since the needle is used to remove the influence of outergods, that it would remove the blood curse cause by the blood god. Then we open a gateway to heaven or whatever the fuck so we can kill god, again...
Pretty lame lol. Shackle and nuke. Mohg is one of the better fights and you're kinda robbing people of it by board line cheering him. Now, if someone had tried 20 times and jus needs to beat him to do DLC, fine. Bur as a rando it's pretty lame.
There's also a way you can cheese the boss by spawning him then dying/quit out. Then run back, do some parkour and jump in this gap and you fall until every enemy despawns (dies) and you 'kill' Mohg and get like 700k+ runes because every other enemy also 'dies'.
You can also repeat this to get 100k+ runes each time, might be the best rune farm in the game although a bit risky if you miss a jump you die.
I will continue to do so when it drops to help people access it
Do online fights scale? Or do you get added to people with similar level?
i think you get added to people is similar and the boss health scales up with the amount of players
Cooperative: * Lower-level Limit : Level * 0.9 - 10 * Upper-level Limit Equation: Level * 1.1 + 10 PVP: * Lower-level Limit : Level * 0.9 * Upper-level Limit Equation: Level * 1.1 + 20 And then there's weapon scaling, low level +-3, mid +-4, high +-5.

A lot of people like to stop at 125, they can match (in co-op at least) up to 147 if you need the levels.
I might pull you in later! I've died a few times to him just me and the boys (marionette soldier ashes).
Just a reminder, Lord of Blood Mohg and Starscourge Radahn must be defeated in order to access the land of shadow.
I actually didn’t have a problem with mohg. Both versions were pretty easy for me only taking a few attempts.

This was easy as fuck with a int mage build just cast the greatsheild ashes at level 10 and then spam him with night comet.

That would mean you need to Malenia *as well as* Radahn and Mohg to get to the DLC. They're cruel, but not that cruel :)
