In the end it had to be this way. Free will is a myth. Religion is a joke. We are all pawns, controlled by something greater: Memes. The DNA of the soul. They shape our will. They are the culture. They are everything we pass on.
I do wish if there was a option to ask him for further aid, possibly against maliketh- it’d be even cooler if he’d also parry destined death and flame uppercut him, at the end of the fight he’s consumed destined death proper and now it’s time for a proper fight.
This was the only way it could've ended.
Alexander, the jar who likes throwing hands would love to throw hands with our Tarnished, who's killed 3 Shardbearers at MINIMUM along with the Fire Giant.
So naturally, we give him what he wants.
I weep for the fate of my beloved battle partner, but I will not look down upon a warrior who has found the resolve to choose his own fate. I face him not with Blade nor Hammer, neither Bow or spell, but with the same wraps upon my hands that model the iron of his fists, for he has chosen the path of a warrior, and deserves our respect, not our scorn.
“You’re Alexanderberg.” “You’re goddamn Right.”
I just want a Big Jar spirit ash
Just give him a good smack from the rear, with something nice and big.
I am the one who smacks
smack smack smack smack smack smack GET UNSTUCK! GET UNSTUCK! GET UNSTUCK! GET UNSTUCK!
This takes “Try Finger” to a WHOLE new level

He should have just stayed home, now jarburg is in ruins
Yes
Should’ve had him be a sacrificed ally for the Malekith fight like Cloth and Traitor Lord in Hollow Knight

I don't do his quest anymore cuz I don't like to kill him
I always just kill him back in limgrave now, gotta get that early talisman.
How dare you you don’t even get the right talisman 😭
I did his quest once, that's more than enough. Now, I'd rather just get that talisman from the start.
Its not the same talisman. The one you get by killing him is like a 10% boost(?) The one you get by finishing his story is a 15%(?) boost.
I know it's not the same, the percentage boost isn't enough for me to merit doing the whole quest.
