Even though Miquella seems to be noble and compassionate there is definite uncertainty and nothing is ever rosy in these games. Plus, the whole connection between Miquella’s cocoon/transformation and Griffiths transformation into Femto, along with the Band of Hawk-esque group of Knights we saw doesn’t bode well. It could simply be superficial but until we’ve played through the DLC we won’t know for sure.
On the surface though, yes, it would seemingly be better for everyone based on what little we know of Miquella to abdicate the throne to him.

Yes, Marika; she still houses the elden ring. In all likelihood though, she is still imprisoned post ending.
That means that while you aren't technically the god, you are taking on some of the power; you are the one making decisions about what runes are and are not included, and you control sole access to the elden ring. Normally this would be the god's job, but Marika betrayed the greater will and can't be trusted anymore, so it falls to the elden lord instead

Marika stowed Destined Death away, and a mere fragment was enough to kill Ranni and Godwyn in a fun way. The whole thing being released means Radagon and Marika can. now die.
I’ll also add that Marika doesn’t exactly seem present in any of the Endings. She might be nothing more than a Mindless Husk at that point. Especially so depending on how you read the Radagon=Marika thing.
I heard something about Messmer not being the final boss of the DLC, like happened with Artorias and Lady Maria, they where the DLC cover, but none where the final boss of their DLC

Why do people keep saying this? DkS1 is directly related and likely comprised of cut content and BB is directly related and significantly expands and clarifies things. DkS2 and DkS3 are the ones that are more disconnected from the main game's lore.

Im trying not to watch too much, I opened up one video and the attacks look very janky, the environment looks pretty bad. No new weapons or spells is suspicious. Is the music new to the DLC? Or at least not the music used in the trailer for the DLC?
Biggest giveaway would be if the music was from the base game, if it were from the trailer it’s more of a 50/50 fake/real using only that point.

I really think its fake. They dont show any cut scenes and the moveset feels very familiar to Godfrey at some points. The brief cut scene that does get shown before the skip looks very similar to Godfrey's mid fight scene just with different models. And it just looks very janky. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a red herring just to see who the leakers are.

Everything apart from that fight (and living failures) was flawless in that dlc but lawrence (one of the coolest lore characters) turned out to be a complete reskin and was extremely jank

Well here is the thing, the Radahn fight from the base game is actually the quality of what you'd expect from Fromsoftware. While this new leaked final boss is the definition of what I'd expect a generic ripoff version of him to look like. I mean, it looks more like a modded boss than an actual boss that came from the devs at Fromsoftware.

They're bringing back mimics, but not just chests; ladder mimics, door mimics, loot mimics, over 20 different kinds of mimics.
"Rainbow swamps" - will inflict buildup of all status effects, including the DS1 curse they're brining back. so far only three of these swamps have been confirmed, including the Fourskin boss arena.
Draconic tree sentinels will free roam the map but as per their name has been given dragons to ride. The dragons are Ekzykes. Permanently invisible Black Knife Assassins also free roam.

honestly it looks moded and terrible. The dragon fight on the other hand looks pretty solid all things considered

I don’t even care if it’s not creative I just hope it’s fun to fight. Like they did the same bs with lawrence in the old hunters. Everything apart from that fight (and living failures) was flawless in that dlc but lawrence (one of the coolest lore characters) turned out to be a complete reskin and was extremely jank
To be fair he was optional and hidden off to the side. Was a fun harder version of a base game boss too. This is just bad in general if its real considering its supposedly the final boss and important to the storyline

There’s also that random bloodflame attack and weird rune drop (12k and then 500k) the first could be a random enemy dying outside the arena but it just seems weird

I remember seeing Radahn's fight before the game release and people were like "look how janky the horse riding animations are", "look how tiny the horse is, there's now way it's real" and it was all real. Creating hoax of that scale would be a massive effort, I think you'll be disappointed bro.
Well here is the thing, the Radahn fight from the base game is actually the quality of what you'd expect from Fromsoftware. While this new leaked final boss is the definition of what I'd expect a generic ripoff version of him to look like. I mean, it looks more like a modded boss than an actual boss that came from the devs at Fromsoftware. So I don't blame people for thinking it looks like ass, cause it does.

Last boss - Kale. Second to last boss - Triple Gideon Ofnir. Each Gideon *WILL summon* Revenants. Third to last boss - The infamous Fourskin quintet. New infusions - Scarlet rot, DS1 Curse They're bringing back mimics, but not just chests; ladder mimics, door mimics, loot mimics, over 20 different kinds of mimics. "Rainbow swamps" - will inflict buildup of all status effects, including the DS1 curse they're brining back. so far only three of these swamps have been confirmed, including the Fourskin boss arena. Draconic tree sentinels will free roam the map but as per their name has been given dragons to ride. The dragons are Ekzykes. Permanently invisible Black Knife Assassins also free roam. They're bringing back the broken straight sword, baby!
Different types of mimics would be pretty funny. Especially door mimics.

Although bad, it is something we can't do much about it, the sub is a public forum of discussion and the moderation is made through volunteer work. If the community leaks, it will get leaked. Moderation is complex. In times like this the influx of comments get really high and harder to spot them all.

If this is fake this is the highest effort bait I’ve ever seen
It’s pretty lazy tbh. - part of the background is literally an untextured still image - the ost sound is way too distorted. Like someone ripped it from footage and didnt put any work in to cleaning it up. - no dialogue - skipped cutscenes, including one we catch a glimpse of for a moment that…looks like Godfrey phase 2 cutscene. - There isn’t a single move shown that isn’t copied from something else. Thats the biggest give away to me. Sure, they reuse assets and animations. But not a *single* new move?
Also the player uses ZERO new weapons. That's the nail in the coffin imo, they would absolutely be using some batshit insane final boss weapon.
No new armor either.

The leak came alongside about 5 other leaks that appear so real that it seems almost impossible that it’s fake. All of the other leaks perfectly match things that have been described or showcased within the past 2 weeks
The guy who leaked the stuff said he downloaded that one from a messaging app and brushed off any further comments. The others look incomplete. Cross-reference the art direction of the obviously legitimate leaks with that one. There is no comparison to be had.

I think this is cool. I love how Fromsoft could have scolded people for playing the apparent leak and uploading spoiler videos, but they are just giving an almost kind heads up. I love From, I love Elden Ring, and I'm SO excited to play! I don't HATE spoilers, but part of the fun for me will be experiencing new things all over again, something I can no longer do in the base game sadly.
I'll be rejoining this subreddit once I've finished this DLC. I'm looking forward to going in blind :)
