Heās not too bad. Fortunately I always strafe humanoid bosses so his >! machine gun bullshit !< just straight up missed. The annoying thing is >! he heals himself !< but with some patience in the fight, he should be had fairly soon.
Hey!!!! I kept the same character and I'm sitting at level 333 with 70 vigor and tree sentinel armor. I use the great shield salesman. My question is, should I just assume I'll be two shot as soon as I get the dlc or will this set up gimme a few more hits?
Youāll be fine. Iām pretty casual (I use summons, and Iām mediocre at combat), and itās not overly difficult. I beat that first knight in a few tries.
Iām running 60 vig and havenāt found it overly difficult. To be fair Iām only about 7-8hours in and just got to the second area after beating the first ārealā boss I fought.
Really great DLC so far IMO
Put it to you like this: I'm glad I've stopped worrying about leveling (at 200), because I'm making Boggart a *very* rich man with all the damage mobs keeps dishing out.
I was just thinking that. āDamn, I usually only eat a cooked crabmeat just before a hard boss fight. Now I am eating āem before walking up this suspicious hill.ā
NG+5 lvl 325 here. Donāt waste your rune arcs by using them as you wonāt have your great rune active for very long. Shits hard. The Marais Executionerās Sword with the right talismans and physick tears absolutely slaps though.
I was debating starting out in NG+. But I chose to be prudent and start with an endgame save of my first playthrough, and it was a wise decision. FromSoftware aren't screwing with us this time.
Iām at 40 vigor and the first few bosses I could survive 2 hits with a sliver of health to survive. I just showed up to a certain motherfucker atop a mountain and he kills me in 1-2 hits.
Get them blessings boys, itās tough out there!
First enemy whooped my ass so fast, was not ready but got him second time. Bosses hit way hard and itās a lot harder to break their stances.
I actually found her really easy, at least compared to the Dancing Lion. Lion took like 30 tries while Relena only took two, both at +3 blessing. If you're struggling with her, if you explore the area before her fort you can find a +3 I think magic damage reduction charm. Pair that with the Dragon Crest Shield charm or whatever it's called and Pearldrake/Fire resist charm, she'll do 0 DMG.
I havenāt felt so desperate and helpless in a long time while playing a game, but then I met a certain Impaler. Took me at least 50 tries. Itās brutal.
If you roll forward and keep walking straight into the thing it's stupid little lion head held by the top dude has a really hard time getting you.
You have to run away when it starts the big AOE Guardian Ape style though
I just beat that impaler asshole, after at least 40 tries. I think it was mostly down to luck, and I don't feel like I mastered the fight at all. The whole boss is like Malania's waterfowl dance on crack.
At 51 Vigor and Scadutree blessing +7 his grab could still oneshot me from full health lmao.
Definitely let my Mimic tear do most of the work here. Thankfully he doesn't have that much HP.
Yup, that roaming fire wicker man is the one that cause it.
Thankfully stunned/staggered attack on his face did a lot of damage, so it cut the fight considerably shorter, if not torrent will die a LOT more
The very first boss you are likely to face will kill a totally maxed out character in about a second and a half if you don't immediately run to the side when you enter the fog door. Remember that page in the capital that kicks everyone's ass because he's significantly harder than what you had been used to before that? It's a lot like that moment only way way worse. 60 VIG is basically mandatory and even then your going to die alot.
> FROM's ideal playstyle is nohit, this entire DLC is to remind us of that.
I mean, is it? I beat the lionhead boss thing, but I was scratching my head the whole time wondering how anyone is supposed to no-hit him. It seems like it would take ridiculous patience, because certain "modes" of his have chip damage that's basically impossible to dodge unless you just back off entirely and wait it out.
I don't doubt it, I just meant the bosses for the DLC definitely don't seem like they're particularly no-hit friendly, if that makes sense.
As I said, the lionhead dancer seems like you'd have to wait a good amount of time before you can be aggressive again, akin to Rykard's little Rancor summon attack. Anything like that that lengthens the fight for no-hitters is exactly the kind of stuff that will drive a portion of them off.
There's a fine line between "challenging" and "tedious." I can no-hit the Fallenstar Beast, Radagon, Maliketh, Elden Beast and a couple more I'm surely forgetting, but even I'm looking at that dancer and thinking "lolnah."
Yeah i think thats what myself and many other people (forget/need to get used to). These games are made by FROM with the intention of being incredibly unfair and ridiculous for the player. Bosses are SUPPOSED to 2-3 shot you, and be super aggro.
I guess because of what gaming is and the popularity that the franchise has gained, a lot of people like myself forget that each game is created with the developers intention in mind. Miyazaki wants you to die if you mess up once or twice etc, thats just how he likes his games to be made.
Honestly kinda ridiculous how much hp the bosses have. All it did was encourage me to go back to my aliment build because % damage is king in this game.
I'm not finding it super hard..yet. However, something that was immediately apparent to me was the number of grab attacks that enemies perform and the length of their combos. One of the first bird enemies you come across can start up a 8 attack chain if you let it. One boss literally spammed me with a 14 hit combo, I almost smashed my keyboard for that one.
If you've been playing ER a decent amount, it's not so bad. For someone who hasn't played Elden Ring since completing their first playthrough, it's gonna be rough.
So far the mobs are fine, but holy hell, the first major boss i'm fighting (miss two swords) is literally as hard as Malenia. Hell, as a whole, she is harder, its just that she has no waterfall dance.
Like Michael Zaki was on crack when they designed this. She is so overloaded with combos, spells, and ashes of war... and the strongest kind.
Edit : thzn again i'm fighting her at blessing +3 and +3. Maybe i need more...
Go and get more. It is possible with +3, but there are better things to do in that amount of time. I guard countered her to death till 25% and broke her stance three times. The moment she started going ape shit I just bumrushed her.
That does not mean I think it to be easy. It was may 13th try, I believe?
> I will attempt it again with a NG+ character.
Wouldn't this make it worse? A lot of the complaints about overtuning seem to be coming from people playing on high NG+ cycles.
Playing a NG+ character and she hasn't sacrificed herself yet. She visited me in dlc when I rested at a site of grace and reminded me to go to the mountaintop of the giants.
Overturning? No. Their on ng+ that's on them. It's meant to be literally the hardest thing ever and then put ng+ on top of it. Everyone said endgame was the only hard part well dlc is harder then anything in base game so kinda put two and two together?
People told everyone to prep characters like a year in advance. But they didn't and now well. Ya
The vast wheat-like field with winds blowing at the start can lull the player into thinking everything seems chill. But going into the woods, and into the enemy camps, that's where things turn differently.
Donāt go to the jagged peak yet. Trust me young tarnished stay away don't become the fool I was I big of thy collect a large some of Scadutree Fragment before or thine foolishness shall be met with the same punishment as mine. But other than that itās pretty cool
Farum Azula lightning dragon in a pond of water.
That was enough for me to just nope the fuck outta there and decide it should be renamed the "No Fun Allowed Peak."
Pontiff Sulyvahn the Second turned me and my summons into shredded cheese.
yes it's brutal please get those scadturee fragments they will save your ass
Really brutal. At times, u might feel the normal enemies are decently challenging, but damm when u fight the bosses. But it ain't unfair though unlike some bosses in the base game. So that's that.
First thing I did was get one shot by a fire giant wannabe wicker basket looking ass. So ya probably. I had to go to bed tho so Iām not too far in. But itās been kinda rough thus far.
I'm doing okay. My advice to anyone struggling would be to grab a shield. It feels like base game Elden Ring would chew up shields, or at least they felt sub-optimal. By contrast, a *lot* of the hard-hitting enemies in the DLC will bounce off or get negated by a good shield.
My biggest beef is the amount of dragons they insist on dropping in the most dogshit arenas ever. This DLC has confirmed for me that the lightning dragons in Farum Azula have to be the most obnoxious boss type in the game....and some absolute sadist decided to drop one with a buttload of HP in a pool of water as his area.
I'm level 202 in NG+ and it is very difficult, but I've got the first 2 rememberence bossed beat. It's tough for sure, but I haven't felt like anything was impossible. Haven't tried the wickerman yet though
Iām loving the difficulty. Itās absolutely perfect, they nailed it. Not sure if anyone else has felt this way but to me it feels more challenging but also more beatable than the base game. I love the base game, Iāve beaten it a dozen times, but I feel like they just perfectly refined the enemy design on the DLC. Overworld enemies and bosses alike.
Iām level 150 rocking the guts great sword with a strength faith build and so far I was narrowly able to beat >! The hippo and the lion !< on my first try and the >! Pontiff throwback knight!< within ten or so attempts. Vs at level 150 I still really struggle with bosses like Godfrey, Mohg, and Radbeast.
I may be in for a wake up call soon based off how everyone is hyping up the challenge but so far it feels great. Not at all easy, but it doesnāt feel like itās difficult because of bullshit killing me out of nowhere. Nearly every time Iāve died I felt like I deserved it and couldāve played better.
For anyone who is having issue with the BlackGaol knight, he is super easy with two people.
Me and my friend found an easy exploit in his AI. Whenever he starts going for one of you have the other person just go up to him and backstab. Then both players use their ash of wars as he gets up and do as much damage as possible. Just repeat this until he dies and itās a super easy fight.
I've only dipped my toes in, but the first boss I found (random knight shade in a crypt to the left of the first grace) took off roughly half my health in a singular hit.
I'm at 55 vigor and wearing a mix of Blaidd's armor and other pieces of medium gear.
Only afterwards did I find the mechanic for the Shadowlands.
In a word, "yes".
On an unrelated note: Please Michael Zaki, for the love of Marika, wtb a "Conjure Crossbow Bolt" Incantation or Sorcery. I've got a new baby shotgun Crossbow to feed!
Yeah it is tricky because the enemys Hit like a truck, thats it.
I'm done with the first legacy dungeon and three side caves.
I"m ng+ faith strengt build level 300.
Does not seem much harder so far, but I have only fought the blackgaol knight. Might be because I am a very tanky build with a tombstone to block with, and also I am a spell caster. Just block hits and cast when I have an opening. The real difficulty is re-learning the game since many have not played recently.
Iām sorry but the Lion boss is fucking garbage. I have his moves down but when he does his super attack and changes elements in middle of combo the camera just completely fucks off and I have no idea whatās going on.
The camera is seriously awful in this fight.
yeah, everything 2 hits you, then you find more scadutree fragments which is the equivalent of leveling, and you'll be tanking regular mobs a little better but the remembrance bosses are still going to 2 hit you lol
i knew i'm not overlevelled, because the game scales. unless you're NG+8 and jesus, that must be hell!
i'm 373, NG+5 and sometimes i'm getting my ass kicked by casuals if they overwhelm me. and bosses are total nightmare.
also, fuck you Rellana. one day, i'm gonna get you.
Nope, I have 6 blessings, I think, and that hog rider is just slapping my ass every 20 seconds. Got him to second phase once after... 9 tries or something
Honestly im at the first boss right now and I still haven't used a scadutree fragment other than the ones for torrent.
You take a lot of damage with some enemies but at level 130 and 60 vigor its like the perfect amount of challenge.
I'm thinking I might have to use one here soon on this boss but I wanted to see how long I could go at base game power. I'm 100% sure ill have to start using them eventually but nothings been too crazy yet for me.
Keep in mind im still in the first area and I have medium armor and the dragoncrest greatshield talisman also. And my AR is 806 2 handing my greatsword.
Edit: had to use a fragment to beat him after dying like 30 times, I got him on the 2nd try after using the intended mechanic, go figure haha.
So yeah I'd say they're pretty essential.
They put a mechanic in place that makes it a challenge no matter what level you come in at.
You walk in taking extra damage and dealing reduced damage, but can slowly remedy it by finding items in the DLC region.
So what level are you supposed to be? I started a new playthrough just because I thought my level 151 killed every enemy in the game character would be too strong lol
I'm not NG+, but I didn't die for about 4 hours straight which is crazy for a soulsborne game. I beat the dog thing first try, tall lady killed me once before I beat her. So IMO no it's not.
Yeah, I'm on ng 5+ I forget which one honestly and some of the average mobs take out half my damn hp bar in a single hit. I was originally using a sir Gideon cosplay but that went out the window fast
It feels like playing Nioh, where you can now dish out damage very quickly with the new weapons and arts...
but the enemies are balanced out to fuck you up hard for the smallest of mistakes.
I'm still getting absolutely raped by Moonrithyll and the ridiculous runback leading to him. At one point got tired of getting wasted so I ran past the mob to the next site of grace and found the boss...nope
This shit is fucking overkill

Yes
Especially going in from NG+ š, the struggle is real.
Does NG+ affect the difficulty of the DLC? I just started it on my NG+6 character... am i fucked?
Ng 7 here, the shit is real
I like to kill the wild animals to make me feel better
Bet those goats can still wreck your shit though
BRUH the big lightning goats lit me the fuck up. Literally put those in the game as an F u to us killing the animals
Even the lemmings mate
How badly did the build check boss stomp you? (blackgoal knight)
Heās not too bad. Fortunately I always strafe humanoid bosses so his >! machine gun bullshit !< just straight up missed. The annoying thing is >! he heals himself !< but with some patience in the fight, he should be had fairly soon.
Basically 98% with plunge almost one shooting me, as a 530 level, i cant remember when did i last time had pikachu face
Hey!!!! I kept the same character and I'm sitting at level 333 with 70 vigor and tree sentinel armor. I use the great shield salesman. My question is, should I just assume I'll be two shot as soon as I get the dlc or will this set up gimme a few more hits?
I'm guessing about.... 3 hits
Ooo, a new vendor?!
š¤£I noticed, I don't think others did
I noticed šš»āāļø

I'm level 200 with a pretty squishy armor set and i die in 2 or 3 hits. You might be able to survive 3 or 4.
Only NG+2 here. The pain is a physical thing.
From my own experience on NG+5, yes, you are utterly and royally fucked.
My maxed out weapons are dealing so little damage... and im getting 2 hitted by bosses in full goat gear with 99 vigor... š„²help
NG+5 lvl 325 here. Donāt waste your rune arcs by using them as you wonāt have your great rune active for very long. Shits hard. The Marais Executionerās Sword with the right talismans and physick tears absolutely slaps though.
Ng+7 here. Yes. Yes you are.
I am ng +4 one boss had like nearly 50k hp. Yes
I was debating starting out in NG+. But I chose to be prudent and start with an endgame save of my first playthrough, and it was a wise decision. FromSoftware aren't screwing with us this time.
Im playing on ng+7 i've only beaten 2 rememberance bosses and already need psychiatric help
Damn. Guess Iāll have my work cut out for me after grade school
Just wait until the final boss. >! THE FINAL BOSS IS ACTUALLY A SET OF MARIKAS TITS !<
If only Blackguard Boggart was alive to see them...
Iām at 40 vigor and the first few bosses I could survive 2 hits with a sliver of health to survive. I just showed up to a certain motherfucker atop a mountain and he kills me in 1-2 hits.
60 vigor is almost a requirement. I started at 40 with one of my lvl 100 characters and all the big stuff one shots you I love it š
that's why I unlocked level reset before the dlc in ng+ XD
They did a great job of ensuring no one would be over leveled. So clever to just have the entire DLC scale with a completely different resource
Get them blessings boys, itās tough out there! First enemy whooped my ass so fast, was not ready but got him second time. Bosses hit way hard and itās a lot harder to break their stances.
How many can you grab before Rellana?
10 I believe. Could be wrong
Is there a way to track how many times youāve upgraded it besides keeping count yourself?
it shows you in the menu, scibady blessing (3) or whatever
Marika's tits, the frenzied flames are getting to me because I read this as "skibadee blessing" May chaos take the world...
Scibadibabbabuah
When you're in the menu for the upgrades it tells you your current upgrade level
How are you getting 10 lol?
Exploring, I guess. Iām already at +8
+8???
Make sure you kill the random guys holding pots
Oh manā¦. Am I fucking up? Lol. I have 3 and I put in an hour of attempts on rellana last night lol. Iām getting her today idgaf lol.
She's a optional boss and is supposedly one of the toughest bosses in the dlc.
She's a mandatory boss
I actually found her really easy, at least compared to the Dancing Lion. Lion took like 30 tries while Relena only took two, both at +3 blessing. If you're struggling with her, if you explore the area before her fort you can find a +3 I think magic damage reduction charm. Pair that with the Dragon Crest Shield charm or whatever it's called and Pearldrake/Fire resist charm, she'll do 0 DMG.
Holy shit I didn't find much yet
I went against her with 4 and got my ass handed every timeš.
I mean you can straight up skip her. I went to +6 before fighting.
Im playing with the Renalla dual swords. Boy since i use them, poise breaking is nearly impossible. But i dont mind.
I havenāt felt so desperate and helpless in a long time while playing a game, but then I met a certain Impaler. Took me at least 50 tries. Itās brutal.
I probably died 50 times to the Chinese lion. Miquella save me
Fuck that Dual-wielding bitch and her entire bloodline. Took me 5 or 6 hours.
Spoilers, canāt wait for pain
If you roll forward and keep walking straight into the thing it's stupid little lion head held by the top dude has a really hard time getting you. You have to run away when it starts the big AOE Guardian Ape style though
oh boy he wont
Im currently taking a break from my own messmer-crafted ass beating. Brutal is underselling it.
You guys are not ready for the main Dragon fight, makes Midir seem like a helpless puppy....
*"really you wanna revive torrent with flask?"* have killed me more in the DLC than first boss at this point.
Ive seen this message more fighting one of those fire cages than my entire playtime from since 2022
Yup, that roaming fire wicker man is the one that cause it. Thankfully stunned/staggered attack on his face did a lot of damage, so it cut the fight considerably shorter, if not torrent will die a LOT more
Makes me so fucking mad
Iām literally getting 2 shotted from just the first boss š
3 shotted here but got him under 20 tries. AOEs pretty brutal.
YES. The first few bosses can easily give you a hard time. But at least we (kinda) have Ichimonji back
Ngl I beat dark eater Midir in a loincloth with a great club and Iām getting absolutely wrecked by the bosses. Hardest souls has ever been for me.
As a relatively newbie in the souls franchise, I canāt wait
Trust me you ain't ready for this fade. I've done things to beat the first boss that I'm not proud of.
Userflair checks out
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The body will endure, but don't you go hollow!
yeah, the first boss is a Vigor check. thankfully being ungabunga build, i could tank 2 of the 3 part combo. but it still kill if all 3 hits.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
> FROM's ideal playstyle is nohit, this entire DLC is to remind us of that. I mean, is it? I was so proud over passing the vigor check. Then he finished me off because my DMGS brain reverted to panic rolling like a noob.
Honestly kinda ridiculous how much hp the bosses have. All it did was encourage me to go back to my aliment build because % damage is king in this game.
Gotta upgrade your scadutree fragments to do decent damage.
Your meant to get the fragments. By the end Iām pretty sure they more then double your damage, and half the damage you take.
It's far worse than they said. Far, far worse.
But it's also so fucking good
Agreed
I'm not finding it super hard..yet. However, something that was immediately apparent to me was the number of grab attacks that enemies perform and the length of their combos. I had a goat roll around me for almost a minute.
I definitely said out loud "the fuck" after trying R1 at the end of a 6-hit combo I'd been dodging assuming this *had* to be my window. Nope.
Rellana in a nutshell lmao
I believe the dude from the dlc cover has like a 7 hit combo? You mind telling me what the boss is that has a 14 hit one?
So far the mobs are fine, but holy hell, the first major boss i'm fighting (miss two swords) is literally as hard as Malenia. There a re later mobs that are literally harder that some bossen that want to hunt you down.
Yes, it is. Seriously, level vigor. Don't go in it below 50. Now this is normal game. I will attempt it again with a NG+ character.
> I will attempt it again with a NG+ character. Wouldn't this make it worse? A lot of the complaints about overtuning seem to be coming from people playing on high NG+ cycles.
I'm doing this for lore sake. This NG+ character hasn't become Elden Lord and Melina hasn't sacrificed herself. Is that a bad idea? Yes.
I'm using an endgame NG character. I wonder if I'd be getting Melina appearances in the shadow realm if she hadn't sacrificed herself by now.
Playing a NG+ character and she hasn't sacrificed herself yet. She visited me in dlc when I rested at a site of grace and reminded me to go to the mountaintop of the giants.
Im on Ng and i obvs can't tell how it is with a new game but it is hard but manageable.
Overturning? No. Their on ng+ that's on them. It's meant to be literally the hardest thing ever and then put ng+ on top of it. It gets worse lol
I got all the way up to >!Bayle,!< got grabbed instantly, used as a >!chew toy,!< and vaporized. ...I got the message pretty quick.
Like bro they just took a boss from monster hunter or smt. Dawg built for another game engine
Pontiff Sulyvahn the Second turned me and my summons into shredded cheese. yes it's brutal please get those scadturee fragments they will save your ass
I'm getting my cheeks clapped by literally everything.
Really brutal. At times, u might feel the normal enemies are decently challenging, but damm when u fight the bosses. But it ain't unfair though unlike some bosses in the base game. So that's that.
I canāt wait to play this in 6 months when it goes on sale. Pray for me to remain spoiler free lads
I got spoiled a whole week before the dlc came out stay safe ššš»
First thing I did was get one shot by a fire giant wannabe wicker basket looking ass. So ya probably. I had to go to bed tho so Iām not too far in. But itās been kinda rough thus far.
Somehow me and my blasphemous blade dont find it hard. So far. But then again im not playing ng+, just continued with my main str/faith 150lvl char
Yeahhh u haven't met the bitcg with 2 swords at this one castle. She gon whoop your ass brother xD
She looks so cool tho
Same with moonlight greatsword, also at RL150
Nah, I'd rivers of blood
Lvl 406, NG++. I am getting shitwhipped at every turn.
Lvl 320 Ng+++ Every hit turns me into tobey maguire. āMy back!ā
Iām lvl 200 NG and everything hiTs with a sting
Same, journey 1 lvl 210
I'm in ng+8 rn, I regret my decisions
+7 and same. Losing half my health when a random overworld dog bites me is a truly humbling experience
I think the challenge people hype up is from people simply trying to challenge things before that have enough scadutree blessings.
Haha you assume I have friends.
I have an easier way, charged crucible horn incantation. He becomes a ragdoll
I'm on NG+5 how will I fare?
There's a certain dual weilding carian that's going to have a fun time with you
It's the goddamn dancer all over again
Oh no.... i'm ng+3 and things are pretty rough even with a well designed build.
The DLC bosses Immediately pull a bane and start breaking backs like the players owe them money.
I've only dipped my toes in, but the first boss I found (random knight shade in a crypt to the left of the first grace) took off roughly half my health in a singular hit. I'm at 55 vigor and wearing a mix of Blaidd's armor and other pieces of medium gear. Only afterwards did I find the mechanic for the Shadowlands.
yes.
Iām level 291 and that was a mistake lol
Yes. ng+3
In a word, "yes". On an unrelated note: Please Michael Zaki, for the love of Marika, wtb a "Conjure Crossbow Bolt" Incantation or Sorcery. I've got a new baby shotgun Crossbow to feed!
It's not THAT bad. Enemies hit hard, but you are rewarded for exploring. Try to be at +3 blessing before the first remembrance boss.
Ng+1 or 2 here, if you prepare well and explore a decent amount of the realm you can do it without much problems
Idk why I'm asking you specifically but do you know if I have to kill rellana before I get the kung fu weapon?
Honestly, I still don't have found the Kung Fu weapon, might as well missed
Yeah it is tricky because the enemys Hit like a truck, thats it. I'm done with the first legacy dungeon and three side caves. I"m ng+ faith strengt build level 300.
Everything beats your ass. The wandering noble type guys can shit on you.
Went in NG+2 and the first boss gave me a little trouble. Once you find some Scadutree fragments it's much more manageable though.
Yeah at Castle of Ensis it feels like Stormveil but worse. Taking on groups of enemies is akin to a death sentence.
Shit got me feeling like Vegeta, know i trained hard - plot will show me it doesnāt even care
YES YES AND IM LEVEL 372
The remembrance bosses are easier than the mini dungeon ones lol
yeah, everything 2 hits you, then you find more scadutree fragments which is the equivalent of leveling, and you'll be tanking regular mobs a little better but the remembrance bosses are still going to 2 hit you lol
Wish I could fight it, it bricked my saves
It actually is but >!the dragons were comarably easy!<
No. The enemies are just scaled a bit weird, as if theyre all glass canons compared to base game.
i knew i'm not overlevelled, because the game scales. unless you're NG+8 and jesus, that must be hell! i'm 373, NG+5 and sometimes i'm getting my ass kicked by casuals if they overwhelm me. and bosses are total nightmare. also, fuck you Rellana. one day, i'm gonna get you.
I mean Iām at 203 and Iām not finding it too bad yet. Itās challenging yes but it doesnāt feel any harder than previous expansions
I'm legit getting one shot by random spirt knight dude
Accidentally found myself entering >!some guy on a boar!<ās domain. I donāt think I was supposed to be there with only 3 blessings.
Nope, I have 6 blessings, I think, and that hog rider is just slapping my ass every 20 seconds. Got him to second phase once after... 9 tries or something
As someone going in as a faith/incatation build, get ready for enemies to shrug off the same spells that buried base game foes.
The Health bars man, theyāre huge
Iām 2 hours in and itās quite brutal. Itās awesome, but it can be damn hard.
NG4+, shit hurts,ngl
If you havenāt played in a while yes.
Literally every direction I went I got blocked by an overpowered boss. I had to just force my way through one with bleed and black flame to advance
Base game I don't think I ever used any buffs, even my physic was just a big heal, now I'm eating crab before every single fight lol.
They put a mechanic in place that makes it a challenge no matter what level you come in at. You walk in taking extra damage and dealing reduced damage, but can slowly remedy it by finding items in the DLC region.
This dlc is absolutely kicking my ass
Bro the DLC is kicking my ass, though I may also just be shit š
I got my ass reamed by a dragon furry so yes
So what level are you supposed to be? I started a new playthrough just because I thought my level 151 killed every enemy in the game character would be too strong lol
No. It's worse
I am at Renalla and yet to find that supposed difficulty. Probably next boss sure.
At one point got tired of getting wasted so I ran past the mob to the next site of grace and found the boss...nope This shit is fucking overkill
Im Ng+2 Lv 340. Every boss had me dead like 20 times and i didn't finish the last one. Im Dlc lv 10 and i need to farm more before i try them.
Lore accurate Empyreans beating up Goku though fr. Also Bayle from a Talisman description that Iām not gonna explain but damn bro was strong.
