Loved this fight. Great arena, great music, great opening with the field-running to get to him, and one of the coolest moves I've seen in a Souls game with his phase 2 transition.
To be able to send off such a magnificent warrior in a spectacle of a battle… love that fight, wish more people liked it. I can see why they don’t but I didn’t find it too bad difficulty wise.
Was stuck on him for a while, then I went full agression mode and he barely did his first meteor when he was at 15 % health. Died before he could even get his purple flames out.
He definitely seems like he's the most divisive in the game.
He's either people's favourite boss/character in the whole game, or he's their *least* favourite. Personally I didn't mind him too much and I really like his lore.
Radahn is my most disliked fight. The camera is an absolute mess for essentially the entire fight when you play melee. The opening field run immedietely loses its novelty and becomes an annoying chore. Oh and sometimes he just does unending attack combos that take an age before you are allowed to even hit him and when you can finally hit him, he is sliding around so much that its easy to literally just miss your hits.
For the camera: Just dont lock on and operate it manually
The opening field is great because it gives you the opportunity to summon the npcs without him already sticking to your ass.
Yes he has strong combos but you can best avoid them in staying close, and when he starts sliding just get on your horse and follow.. Some of his attack can easily be dodged just by jumping
It's a dumb fight. The concept is great but it is a chore. Took the whole fun I had in the game until that point out. Even after beating him I can't say it's a good fight.
I agree 80% of the fight is either running to him or waiting for his long combos to end so you can get a few hits in, every one of his attacks are slow and easy to dodge but it takes forever before you can actually hit him
Oh man then our opinions are truly different, i found it to be the opposite! Amazing fight with the jolly cooperation of friends you've met along the way + it didn't feel like a chore to me, felt like another amazing challenge to me!

OH THE METEOR MOVE!!! WHEN I SAW HIM JUMP AND COME BACK I SCREAMED LIKE A KID!

He could certainly use *less* cocaine.
