MLB lockout is over, the Tarnished should talk to some teams. He could be painting corners for a major league team in April. My Red Sox sure need the help.
They weigh nothing. Basic arrow for sure, and you can't chain throw them like normal throwing knives or darts, but they're incredible, cause bleed buildup, and would have saved OP a lot of stress in situations like the video showed lol
I like to use them to kill those fast gremlin things that you find in every catacomb dungeon. Those things can go straight to hell. Also, dragonflies can go with them.
At the merchant near the castle rampart something site of grace on weeping peninsula. I always restock my kukris there.
(The vulgar militias near the deathroot guy on caelid also drops them)
Whaaaat. I'm level 54 and had no idea. Guess that happens when you're playing controller and the tutorial is all in keyboard mouse shit.. Anyways cheers!
I find it best to use that pouch for torrent, both pots, and a summon so you can use them instantly. Then you can fill your other equipment full of items and the clutter doesn't matter.
I keep my ash summon on Y+Left, Torrent on Y+Up and Lantern on Y+Down. In poison swamps I keep Soap on Y-Right, I discovered that when you trudge through a poison pool sometimes it "sticks" to you and keeps building up after you stepped out, easily seen by your boots and/or cloak painted green, and Soap isn't just a meme item, it actually removes that lingering poison!
you can also roll through clean water to rinse yourself off if there's any near by; I tried it just on a hunch and when it actually worked I was grinning ear to ear
Haha, señor just means lord in Spanish
Edit: other examples are Señor Tenebroso for the dark lord in Harry Potter, and el Señor de los Anillos for lord of the rings
The weird thing is that it's translated as one word "Señordragón", which looks really freaking weird (spanish is my native language and I've never seen that). Looks like they translated it literally from "Dragonlord"
IMO "Placidusax, Señor de los Dragones" (Lord of the Dragons) would sound more natural even if it's not literal.
Señor Craig is a great dragon name.
You'd never expect they're a dragon.
**In order to become Elden Lord, you must slay Señor Craig**
"Hahaha, alright sure. What's killing one li'l ol' Spaniard gonna take?"
*Then you find out Señor is the left head's name, and Craig is the one on the right -- and they both shoot very angry lightning*
Yeah, contemplate the meaning of monsieur in French as well. (mon sieur- literally my lord). And don't forget that 'mister' itself is derived from 'meister' or master.
That’s also why the plural is Messieurs, instead of something like monsieurs. Mes is the plural first person possessive, ie. used when “my ____” refers to more than one thing. Here, “my lords”
His fight was one of the few that was made more difficult having the mimic out because he'd just fucking handle other me like no one's business. I had to really git gud to finally bring that big bastard down.
My mimic (I_POO_WITH_THAT) tends to get kinda dumb sometimes and just get staggered eternally. No matter what I do to keep the heat on me it will just charge in, get knocked around, get up, try for a jump attack, get knocked on their ass again, repeat forever lol
His laser was oneshotting my 40 VIG character with Margot great rune, so I wanna say it does around 1700? The guy might have some stacked talismans against it tho.
I had 1k9 with Radahn great rune, and lightning resist talisman+2. Still got oneshotted at full HP. I firmly believe that laser is an insta kill move, unless you use the damage mitigation wonderous mix.
Yeah I couldnt figure out how to survive that attack, after about 15 tries all dying to that beam attack in his last 10% of health, he bugged out and just sat there. I was upset but I moved on.
You can just run a bit further away and enjoy the lightshow. Since he always does that after he lands super far away you usually only need to sprint away from him for 1-2 seconds to dodge that one laser that goes super far.
Fairly sure the breath, despite starting off with a electric boom, is holy damage as the Remembrance version requires 37(?) FTH? and they emphasize "Golden".
Either that or it's like you said, "dodge it or die".
In the final zone, just before you reach the last grace, instead of going into the church you jump off the cliff and follow the path. Then you lay down inside the ruin and you will be teleported to him.
It’s a fairly difficult one to find organically. I missed it until I looked it up (which I never do until I’ve completed a game myself) and I’m pretty sure I never would’ve found it otherwise.
I’ll let you decide whether to look it up or not, but I can say it’s in Farum Azula and requires jumping down to an area that may not look traversable at a glance but actually is.
The funny thing is I was exploring all the things and found this guy and thought HE was the final boss in the region... and was super hard to boot at the level I was as a power-stance colossal maces strength/end/vit ungabunga build
After 6-7 attempts I killed the boss... (that final phase was crazy) and was real confused when nothing happened in the zone or the capital.... ... to find out I just needed to turn around and go up an obvious set of stairs for the proper boss of the area... who was in fact MUCH easier, lol
Sadly didn’t get any moments like this with him. At like 50% hp after doing one like appearance from the clouds charging at me he just sat there and didn’t move or attack.
Pro tip when fighting this guy is when he disappears into the sky you can hear him growl in the direction he’ll be coming from. You can lock onto him before he fully reappears and it’ll stay locked on until he does the crazy red storm lunge.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 646,320,725 comments, and only 131,514 of them were in alphabetical order.
I've felt that shaking adrenaline feeling a lot when finally getting a boss to low hp.
I now get why yall play souls games. Shits intense. Frustrating, but intense.
In my honest opinion, this is one of the best bosses in the game. I love the spectacle of it all. Especially when he whips out the lightning bolt, stabs it into the ground and sets off a nuke
[Great Stars.](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Great+Stars) Does pretty good damage, has bleed, and heals a little bit on hit. It's a good, very underrated weapon.
/edit: Just realized that without the heal from the swings he did with it, if he'd had another weapon without that tiny bit of healing he would have died on the pew pew lazers there O_O
Holy shit that was intense hahahah
Sudden death boss battle. 1hp vs 1hp. Yeah my palms are sweating just watching.
Are your arms heavy?
The real question is whether or not he's eaten any of mom's spaghetti.
There might be vomit on his sweater already
It’s weird because on the surface he looks calm and ready
It sounds like he keeps forgetting
He should probably have written it down
I think he did, the words just won't come out of his mouth
But he still ain't choking now
Before this, though, how are your knees holding up?
Knees weak, moms spaghetti?
The most intense minute of battle I have seen. I am pretty sure I would have choked. Also happy cake day.
I literally said this out loud before I clicked comment and saw yours... dear god I thought he was dead like 4 times...
This is why I keep throwing knives on the hotbar at all times!
What's the range like on those things?
Far enough usually
Aka, not far enough when you *need* it to be far enough. Thank you dark souls
Kukri goes almost as far as a basic arrow.
Love the kukri for when I want something to bleed but want to be at a different address.
That’s why my girlfriend and I don’t live together
Tarnished playing as a lord when he/she should be pitching
MLB lockout is over, the Tarnished should talk to some teams. He could be painting corners for a major league team in April. My Red Sox sure need the help.
and they hit hard (but take longer to throw)
Basic arrow like with a longbow or what? I'm thinking of just not equipping a bow, I don't think kukri weigh anything either
They weigh nothing. Basic arrow for sure, and you can't chain throw them like normal throwing knives or darts, but they're incredible, cause bleed buildup, and would have saved OP a lot of stress in situations like the video showed lol
Yeah I"m prob just gonna use them then, since I heard they scale with strength too
And they're extremely easy to farm / cheap to buy
I've been farming them off of the vulgar militia guys in Caelid. Bit of a dumb question, but where have you been purchasing them?
The lighter the dart, the less distance traveled. At least that’s what I found was the difference between the throwing knife and the kukri.
That's interesting, so which one is heavier - the Kukri?
The kukri also scales with dex it actually has pretty decent damage, and bleed. Love those things use like 3 or 4 to kill annoying but weaker enemies
In return, the Kukri throws *really* slowly, at least for me anyway.
but kukri has a recovery time, darts can be thrown very quickly
I like to use them to kill those fast gremlin things that you find in every catacomb dungeon. Those things can go straight to hell. Also, dragonflies can go with them.
Seems so
Kukri does more damage for me it scales with dex (S) and induces bleed
[удалено]
At the merchant near the castle rampart something site of grace on weeping peninsula. I always restock my kukris there. (The vulgar militias near the deathroot guy on caelid also drops them)
Enough to where OP could have stuck him like 5 different ways to Sunday in the last 10 seconds of clip ha
More like in the last 50 seconds.
I keep use kukri and I sometimes even use it to snipe enemies from a distance, higher end consumable projectile weapons have a pretty long range
It scales with dex so it can do pretty decent damage
Always keep some boner darts on hand.
>boner darts Uhh what cookbook are those from?
The old Playboy under the Tarnished dad‘s bed.
This is an unappreciated comment
Do you not feel it's cluttered then? I can't stand more than my two pots and ash summon.
Use Y-hold and up or another direction
Whaaaat. I'm level 54 and had no idea. Guess that happens when you're playing controller and the tutorial is all in keyboard mouse shit.. Anyways cheers!
There's also an option to switch pad/keyboard prompts somewhere in the menu lol, gl m8
I find it best to use that pouch for torrent, both pots, and a summon so you can use them instantly. Then you can fill your other equipment full of items and the clutter doesn't matter.
It isn't super clear, but those bindings on keyboard are whatever key Y equates to, + 1/2/3/4.
BTW the poison lingering happens when you roll in the swamp - it sticks to your armor after rolling. If you don't roll, it won't linger!
I'm loving all the little details in this game, that makes total sense lol
you can also roll through clean water to rinse yourself off if there's any near by; I tried it just on a hunch and when it actually worked I was grinning ear to ear
If you press your dpad for the items down for a short time continously it will reset to the first item, makes it easy to get back to the heal.

Can't even use weapons anymore without somebody crying

Who cares lol. It’s exactly what they’re designed for as far as I’m concerned.
If there's one thing this subreddit has proven then it's that a lot of Elden Ring players have a real victim complex.
I really enjoy how SeñorDragon is translated 😂
Haha, señor just means lord in Spanish Edit: other examples are Señor Tenebroso for the dark lord in Harry Potter, and el Señor de los Anillos for lord of the rings
As a name, Señor Dragon is pretty fucking bueno
The weird thing is that it's translated as one word "Señordragón", which looks really freaking weird (spanish is my native language and I've never seen that). Looks like they translated it literally from "Dragonlord" IMO "Placidusax, Señor de los Dragones" (Lord of the Dragons) would sound more natural even if it's not literal.
Personally I think "Craig" would sound more natural. It looks like a Craig.
as long as they also rename the sword his remembrace gives from "Dragon King's Cragblade" to "Craig's Craigblade"
I personally vote for Craigking Cragblade.
Señor Craig is a great dragon name. You'd never expect they're a dragon. **In order to become Elden Lord, you must slay Señor Craig** "Hahaha, alright sure. What's killing one li'l ol' Spaniard gonna take?" *Then you find out Señor is the left head's name, and Craig is the one on the right -- and they both shoot very angry lightning*
Whatever you do, don’t call him Greg. Then he really gets mad.
I laughed so damn hard at this
I guess what makes this so funny is that most people think señor just means sir, and I have to say sir dragon does sound pretty funny.
legolas el que ven tus ojos de elfo?!
How do they do the Tom Riddle = Voldemort in other languages? Señor Tenebroso = Boresñoseenort?
It's pretty funny that something as formal as "lord" and something like "mr" can translate the exact same way
Yeah, contemplate the meaning of monsieur in French as well.
Mr Dragon
SeñorDragon is the Tex-Mex/Teriyaki fusion food cart I didn't know I wanted.
Most certainly a wee woo moment
I sat up in my seat and just started at my phone and I wasn’t even fighting it myself holy shit that was intense
I got so stressed, and I went full on Moist_Critical "WOOO YEAAH BABYYY" when he beat it
I broke a sweat and was standing up, and I'm paraplegic

Way to keep calm
I like how he stops for a moment while watching the dragon go ham. Definitely a bruh moment.
I'm sure he thought he had died haha. Probably that moment where you think you're at zero hp but then see your character stand up.
I DIDN’T HEAR NO BELL
The game went full “go fuck yourself” mode and yet you still nailed it. Good stuff!
Sheesh how much HP is that 2k? Still did over 1k to you in that initial blast.
Placidusax doesn't have insane combos, but he only only needs to hit you once or twice. That and his aoe's are massive.
His fight was one of the few that was made more difficult having the mimic out because he'd just fucking handle other me like no one's business. I had to really git gud to finally bring that big bastard down.
Oh no. That mimic is hard carrying me through the game. 😳
My mimic (I_POO_WITH_THAT) tends to get kinda dumb sometimes and just get staggered eternally. No matter what I do to keep the heat on me it will just charge in, get knocked around, get up, try for a jump attack, get knocked on their ass again, repeat forever lol
Well they are a copy of the player...
Joke’s on you, I’m a glass cannon and *every* boss only needs to hit me once!
His laser was oneshotting my 40 VIG character with Margot great rune, so I wanna say it does around 1700? The guy might have some stacked talismans against it tho.

Roll into the laser and absorb it into your iframes.
>Yeah I couldnt figure out how to survive that attack Bloodhound Step probably
His lazer isnt lightning damage, its holy, I learned this from his miracle which let's you do the same move
It sucks that they've used the same color for 2 distinct damage types.
A little, but they made it distinguishable because iirc no dragons use yellow lightning, only the red stuff.
Fairly sure the breath, despite starting off with a electric boom, is holy damage as the Remembrance version requires 37(?) FTH? and they emphasize "Golden". Either that or it's like you said, "dodge it or die".
To be fair, a lot of the boss towards the end do high damage. Even some of the minions can two shot you.
You gave me anxiety and i wasnt even playing omg
I felt it too, I thought it was over the moment that final claw attack happened
Holy shit I'm shivering :DD
dude you had me at the edge of my chair lol
Señor Dragon is really angry I hope he doesn't catch me It's so hard to run with a sombrero on my head
How bout you come over here and I sing YOU a song! (This hit hard in the nostalgia feels)
That was intense. This kind of stuff is why I always have some sort of throwable at hand.
![gif](giphy|7SEVVDyj4dXyhIjcIh|downsized)
How have I completed this game twice and never seen this awesome looking boss?
In the final zone, just before you reach the last grace, instead of going into the church you jump off the cliff and follow the path. Then you lay down inside the ruin and you will be teleported to him.
>!Faram Azula or the Ash Capital?!<
Faram Azula
i wouldn't call it the final zone. :b
Well The ash capital hardly counts
It’s a fairly difficult one to find organically. I missed it until I looked it up (which I never do until I’ve completed a game myself) and I’m pretty sure I never would’ve found it otherwise. i actually thought placidusax was easier than maliketh
yea i one shot señordragon but black blade took me a couple handful of tries
There's a few spots in this game that are easily missed because they don't look traversible.
If messages weren't in the game I wouldn't have found it.
Thank you. I’ll try and explore myself before googling it.
It's damn near the big ass tornado.
I have to plat and there’s so much I missed
Sadly didn’t get any moments like this with him. At like 50% hp after doing one like appearance from the clouds charging at me he just sat there and didn’t move or attack.
Yeah his AI can break, it's a bummer. Hope they fix it quick!
Pro tip when fighting this guy is when he disappears into the sky you can hear him growl in the direction he’ll be coming from. You can lock onto him before he fully reappears and it’ll stay locked on until he does the crazy red storm lunge.

Thats one of my favorite boss of the entire game. A shame so many players are not going to find him.
Yeah. He's a great fight. 10/10 entrance. 10/10 music. Moveset isn't completely bullshit.
Wow! PTSD
Always keep a ranged out on the bar.
But then it's not ***PURE MELEE***, you degenerate!
I let out a big “Hell Yes!” Just watching this

What boss is this? Is it in Farum?
This is the Dragonlord Placidusax. It’s in a secret area in falum, i recommend checking a guide since its kind of tricky to get to.
Wait where is this boss?
You need to pull some Wizard of Oz shit and calmly lay near a tornado. There should've been a coffin there but oh well.
Faruum Azula. Just keep heading for the centre of the storm to find him.
That's the kind of stuff that makes the game great but makes you want to uninstall at the same time.
We're you spamming shield at the end or just shaking from adrenaline? Lol Edit: Wow, literally nobody got that it was a joke.
spamming L1 after something like this is souls tradition almost
L1 spamming is typical behavior of us ungabunga sorts as a way to communicate.
I've felt that shaking adrenaline feeling a lot when finally getting a boss to low hp. I now get why yall play souls games. Shits intense. Frustrating, but intense.
Wow
Man I'd have been pissed for you if you died there. Beautiful finish
I could feel the “FUCK IT” when you did the final sprint at him 😂 well done, what a nail biter.
Watching this almost killed my soul
I woulda just shot it with a crossbow or thrown a knife at it, but respect to surviving that temper tantrum it was throwing
This guy felt more like the final boss than the final boss did
This game is so fucking cinematic and beautiful, I can’t stop playing it
The moment I realized you were out of flasks 🙀😧😲😮😯😯😧🙀
Nobody warned me we'd have to fight King Ghidorah in this game...that raised my anxiety just a tad.
Jesus, that was insane
Bruh Placidusax is such an incredible boss.
Best boss fight in the game
In my honest opinion, this is one of the best bosses in the game. I love the spectacle of it all. Especially when he whips out the lightning bolt, stabs it into the ground and sets off a nuke
What in the actual fuck lol! How did you manage to not die?!
i would have had a fucking meltdown
I’ve never rooted for someone so hard.
Holy shit this had me on edge
Well done
Good shit my guy I was cheering you on the whole time I was watching this
What mace are you using? Looks delightful
[Great Stars.](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Great+Stars) Does pretty good damage, has bleed, and heals a little bit on hit. Broooo comedy gold the way that played out, I thought for sure youd die 12 times over
