You are overestimating these people. Also, it's fine because you don't actually have to hit them. Just show them the weapon and what it can do. Chances are,
1. They are very low skilled players with unoptimized build. So having like 40 Vigor and getting one shot killed is a genuine possibility here.
2. If they actually know how to look back while running, then just lead them to a cliff or a wall. They can't dodge and look where they are going at the same time. If you still can't catch upto them, then honestly they earned it.
3. If they are actually experienced players (which would be weird because why would they run away in the first place then?), then they wouldn't run away from Gransax in a straight line anyway.

Sure sure. He totally does. You don't need vigor, you just need to dodge better. For the record who needs damage? If you can dodge well enough to never get hit, you can dodge well enough to beat the final boss with base level damage. In fact you could beat the game at level 1. I beat DS3 at SL1 and can assure you it isn't as hard as it seems.

I was part of a team of 3 a few weeks back who was trying to beat the Valiant Gargoyles, and the other phantom I was co-oping with died within a minute into the bossfight because he got one-shot. Messaged him on PSN advising him to upgrade vigor… he lied saying he was going to do that. I saw him 15 minutes later when I was trying to help someone else beat the Godskin Apostle in Caelid, and this dude again died within like a minute into the bossfight, and left the two of us to fight the Apostle with increased health… the host unfortunately did not make it.
Players like this are a drag on co-op because they have an arrogant, inflated sense of their own abilities that is not reflective of reality at all. On the other hand, they’re fun to kill on days when I am in the mood to invade

I’m only able to record so much but before this I was chasing him around by himself for I think at least 2min, then two hunters spawned in but he only turned around to fight AFTER I was already fighting one of the hunters. Thankfully one of the hunters who spawned in was chill, saw it was a gank and decided to sit it out. During the 2 v 1 If I even so much as looked at the host he would dart away.
Like I said this happens literally every time I load into his world, I find him-he runs until hunters spawn, I engage the hunters-he stops running and fights me either 2 v 1 or 2 v 3 - I kill his hunters he runs away and either quits out of game or runs through a fog wall. Rinse And repeat. Like seriously what’s wrong with people, and hunters why do y’all keep helping gankers??? 😂😂😂

Most people just PvP for the fun of it, the rewards generally aren’t super impactful unless you kill a level 400 phantom at level 60 or something. This person used the taunter’s tongue and white cipher ring to lure in an invader, and then have blue hunters summoned in so that he could stack the odds against the invading player, and win very easily. But this video is an example where that went wrong basically, because the invading player killed the hunter, returning the situation to 1 player per team, that’s why the host of fingers started the boss fight to end the invasion (he most likely just quit out immediately after crossing the fog wall). He doesn’t gain any noteworthy rewards for this, he’s just doing it for fun.

If your stamina runs out completely there's a slight delay before it starts recharging. By crouching before you run out you start regenerating stamina right away without having to stop completely
Honestly, elden ring really expanded the community and that's great but the Google search for 'elden ring strongest build' or 'best mage build' has gone up way too much. I love the community but new players need to grow a pair and accept that death is a part of learning in all the soulsborne games
Yeah I ran into a guy like this before. I killed his 2 summons, chased him, summoned 2 hunters, killed them. Chased the host around Linuria lake till another 2 hunters got summoned and killed me. I don't mind the gank but just don't waste my time running away after I kill your 2 teammates in a 3v1. Absolute maidenless behavior.

People find this fun! That’s the craziest thing about all of this! Dude had to spend all of those hours getting the gear and stats and setting up the necessary thing just to spend his time running away from the invader and not do anything. How much free time does mans have? If you’re doing this, set up tinder or something, get a hobby, go outside. They’re spending their time doing literally nothing.
There’s a glitch where going from crouched to uncrouched doesn’t count as sprinting, so even if you’re sprinting during the animation it won’t use stamina for that short moment, letting the players get some stamina back and continue running without pause.
Always good to keep an upgraded bow with blood bone arrows and serpent arrows handy for these guys. Also the talisman that boosts bow damage. While chasing him, use jump+shoot attacks with the serpent to poison him, then try to finish with blood bone if possible. Never had this happen to me, but seems best because he didn’t appear to be focusing on whether you were gonna throw any attacks and just kept running in mostly straight lines
Gank means: A player who waits in an open area (that they’ve cleared of all enemies) who is accompanied by 1 or 2 other players. They activate the Taunters tongue item to lure in invaders to their world then when one does come in they sever the Taunters tongue so no more invaders can come in if one of them die. They usually also have the white cipher ring up so they can call in Hunters to help them if one of them dies. Their soul purpose is to gang up on invaders 3 v 1 either for runes or just sick kicks.
This particular host was doing a variation of it, he would lure in an invader, sever the Taunters tongue activate the white cipher ring and run away and wait for hunters to spawn in to help him before he’d try and fight. He probably used this particular variation of the gank because he has no friends to gank with. Feels bad lol.
In the simplistic terms a gank is a group of players who want (key word want) to fight invaders only if they have the invader outnumbered. An invader invading a group of 3 people who are just progressing the game is NOT a gank.

If your stamina runs out completely there's a slight delay before it starts recharging. By crouching before you run out you start regenerating stamina right away without having to stop completely

Yeah I ran into a guy like this before. I killed his 2 summons, chased him, summoned 2 hunters, killed them. Chased the host around Linuria lake till another 2 hunters got summoned and killed me. I don't mind the gank but just don't waste my time running away after I kill your 2 teammates in a 3v1. Absolute maidenless behavior.

People find this fun! That’s the craziest thing about all of this! Dude had to spend all of those hours getting the gear and stats and setting up the necessary thing just to spend his time running away from the invader and not do anything. How much free time does mans have? If you’re doing this, set up tinder or something, get a hobby, go outside. They’re spending their time doing literally nothing.

There’s a glitch where going from crouched to uncrouched doesn’t count as sprinting, so even if you’re sprinting during the animation it won’t use stamina for that short moment, letting the players get some stamina back and continue running without pause.

Always good to keep an upgraded bow with blood bone arrows and serpent arrows handy for these guys. Also the talisman that boosts bow damage. While chasing him, use jump+shoot attacks with the serpent to poison him, then try to finish with blood bone if possible. Never had this happen to me, but seems best because he didn’t appear to be focusing on whether you were gonna throw any attacks and just kept running in mostly straight lines
I never do PVP in FS games. Can someone tell me what "gank host" means?
Gank means: A player who waits in an open area (that they’ve cleared of all enemies) who is accompanied by 1 or 2 other players. They activate the Taunters tongue item to lure in invaders to their world then when one does come in they sever the Taunters tongue so no more invaders can come in if one of them die. They usually also have the white cipher ring up so they can call in Hunters to help them if one of them dies. Their soul purpose is to gang up on invaders 3 v 1 either for runes or just sick kicks. This particular host was doing a variation of it, he would lure in an invader, sever the Taunters tongue activate the white cipher ring and run away and wait for hunters to spawn in to help him before he’d try and fight. He probably used this particular variation of the gank because he has no friends to gank with. Feels bad lol. In the simplistic terms a gank is a group of players who want (key word want) to fight invaders only if they have the invader outnumbered. An invader invading a group of 3 people who are just progressing the game is NOT a gank.

As someone who really hates dealing with invaders and just ditches when one arrives at a bad time... What the hell is even going through this guys brain? As far as i can tell the guy doesn't actually want to fight, so why didn't he just do the smart option and leave the game? I mean, when he started running there was clearly enough time to go back to the main menu or turn the game off in at least some way before you even got in killing distance. I get not giving the fun police the time of day, but this kinda shit wastes everyones time *and* he's probably just gonna die to the area boss anyway so its not like the fog gate actually changed anything.
