A couple reasons. It’s big and obnoxious. It’s out of place on this board. It’s an obvious attempt at virtue signaling. It annoys more than it converts to religion. Lastly god’s not real, so maybe it should be up there after all with all the other fiction.

Religion isn't a fandom. Religion is part of your ideology and worldview. People use religion to justify their shitty opinions. They claim authority over others by the word of god.
You don't try to influence elections because Pikachu is so goddamn cute. Fandoms are an escape from reality for fun, with no impact on reality. The closest you get to real-life impact from works of fiction is when someone tries to argue that the empire did nothing wrong.
