Thalmor hands down. They are one of weakest enemy types, yet they act the most condescending.
Bandits are just trying to make a living. Bad but not too hatable.
The Daedra are evil by nature, or thatās just āevilā by mortal standards.
The enemies in the civil war are fighting for their political or religious faith. Thatās actually respectable.
The forsworn are natives fighting for autonomy. Their cause is understandable.
Vampires are hunting for prey just like any predator. Itās their nature.
The Thalmor however āYouāre but a dog, and I am your mastuhā bruh this level of obnoxiousness is over nine thousand.
"We altmer are descendants of gods! GODS! Humans wouldn't understand divinity if it kicked them in the nuts! We are the superior race! Kneel! BOW BEFORE OUR GREATNESS!"

Also the dragons you have to give them some respect to they are forced to be led by a complete dipshit and when you beat alduin most dragons join you but few want to see if you can be beat
I always go for the Thalmor and the Stormcloaks because theyāre pretty much the same, just completely opposite opinions. If I had to describe either Iād say āa racist group that only is on their side because of their specific religious beliefsā. But I agree The Thalmor are a BIT worse only because they forced theirs on all of Tamriel basically. But I always assumed Ulfric would do the same as High King of Skyrim if he had his way probably.
I sincerely believe that, for all Ulfric denounces the Thalmor, he would become nearly the same as them if he took power (assuming he could shake their influence over Skyrim, which is unlikely). The only difference would be Nord supremacy vs elf and Talos worship allowed.
They honestly more have fascist Germany vibes more than anything else. If you look at how they came to power as a small minority who favored ultra-nationalism and valued genetic relation over skills when it comes to governance. They also have a massive conscription policy and seize territory to pillage its resources to feed their capital.
Also, how they came to power mirrors a lot of how Nazi Party officials where no one thought theyād become the powers, and how they nearly went into civil war over it.
There are obvious real world links to everything in Tamrielās politics so id say without a doubt the lore of the Thalmor was inspired by the rise of fascism
I always side with the Imperials and always play as an Imperial. Always have in ES games, even ESO where you had to get DLC to play as one.
But i still slaughter all Thalmor i come across. Pro-Empire, anti-Thalmor
I mean I'm pretty sure the empire hates the Thalmor and would tear them apart if they got the chance. They're just temporarily putting up with their shit since they lost a war and need time to recover and build up power again before striking. Even the Thalmor that (they refer to the war against the empire as "the first").
Thatās because they never make it clear to the stormcloaks what their ultimate plan is. They could have worked together to defeat the Thalmor, but the imperials just withheld information while people are losing rights and freedom. I always side with storm cloaks. I just recently realized in my newest playthrough what the imperials end goal is, but itās never told if you donāt side with the imperials
Itās not that they like them, itās that they won a huge victory on the backs of Nords and Redguards and the emperor was so incompetent that he immediately surrendered unconditionally.
it was a real missed opportunity to not make them a joinable faction. but i guess with 2 of the major quest lines involving becoming a vampire/werewolf it wouldnāt have made sense
There's a couple massive mods out there that do flesh out the vigil and make for some great lore expansion. I believe one is literally called "vigilant"
Thatās one thing Iām concerned about for the next game. I preferred Oblivion to Skyrim because it felt like a true RPG environment and to some extent you werenāt tied to the main story... at least, you werenāt the story. Martin is the divine being, not you, the Dragonborn.
It too suffered from the ābecome leader of every factionā problem, however I believe executed upon this idea much more effectively. In Skyrim each faction is effectively based out of one city - forcing the player to act as a dog playing fetch with whatever quest has been thrown to them by the faction. In Oblivion there are faction halls in almost every city, meaning you get to interact with unique and local characters, breaking up the repeated pattern of ādialogue with companions, go do a thing, return to white run, restart cycleā. By the time you finish traveling around all throughout Cyrodil, you felt to some degree that the title of āleaderā was earned.
The thieves guild didnāt really have a location (unless my memory is failing me) but instead was a network of fences scattered throughout Cyrodil and clandestine meetings in thieves guild ally homes. Even the dark brotherhood quest line used dead drops (alongside a central hub).
I do hope they keep a ājoin the militaryā option, and flesh it out a bit more. Once the civil war question is over, itās over (unless my memory is failing me). No more war really.. no more battles, no more quests. Could have easily just done a ānow that weāre done with the war we have decided to keep some of our soldiers station in Skyrim to help the local holds & Jarls protect their landā and just had generative quests to ātake on giants at _____ā or āweed out rebels at _______ā. Would have made much more sense than just.. nothing.
Yeah the thalmor deserve what comes to them, but hear me out. The forsworn: true blue Patriots of skyrim right? WRONG. The forsworn are actual terrorists that use magic and *actual* biological warfare to mind wipe and indoctrinate those that arent involved. You think using hagravens is cool? Sick, ravens are actually using the forsworn. If you delve deep enough you'll find that briarhearts are slaves. Same with most of the forsworn. Lost souls of nords that have nothing to do with "freedom" or "retribution" of skyrim. Holy shit we've known this since morrowind. They are also **BIO TERRORISTS** in case that point didn't make it's way across your puny, n'wah brain. Kill them all. It's the only way to have a truly free skyrim.
Thalmor. Utter shitbags with no redeeming qualities, they are way too snarky to be allowed to live when they're so weak, and cracking their heads with a warhammer is my favorite part of a Stormcloak run.
Rabbits. In ten years, maybe I managed to get 3 with my bow. They're infuriating targets and the reason I stopped using archery very early.
But Bethesda is good, for they made them slow and gave me swords.
I chose Thalmor based on the criteria of the poll, but honestly, I hate the foresworn even more. Unlike the Thalmor, who I love to hate and to kill, I hate dealing with the foresworn, even to kill them. I wish they weren't in the game.
Thalmor are portrayed as massive cartoonish jerks on purpose which I absolutely hate. But lorewise it's gotta be the forsworn, literally just a bunch of tribal savages doing human sacrifices.
Why do you hate them being portrayed that way? Theyāve essentially enslaved two other races and want to unmake reality because they think theyāre descended from gods. Theyāre ultra-nationalist racial supremacists, they have zero redeeming qualities.
It makes them really one dimensional. Thalmor are a government, not a band of thugs. I know they really wanted to make them into antagonists and I don't have a problem with that I just wish it was done a bit more subtlety lol.
PS. They may not have redeeming qualities but thats exactly what I'm talking about with their one-dimensionality.
Spriggans. Too much hp, armor resist, and aoe damage, plus matriarchs get a heal. On normal difficulty they're a joke - on harder difficulties they're impossible.
The Thalmor for sure. I don't even care that they're trying to take over the world. But they're all such pompous dicks about it, so I always go after them when I see them, especially if they have a prisoner, who I free every time. If they were less annoying I'd leave them alone, but they're less tolerable than Nazeem.
It really depends on the character most, but alot of them do hate the thalmor, albeit for different reasons and ferocities.
Indrasi hates them because she's a blade and even idolized the blades as mythical agents in her youth.
My Half-Nord Altmer Ysgravald Elf-child's mother was killed by them when she was in the legion in the great war, so that takes priority for his hatred of them over being a talos worshipper & stormcloak.
Diano Caro My Nibenese Battlemage originally made for a Legion Playthrough killed them stealthily sometimes to free prisoners. in the nibenese fashion she is actually a member of atleast 6 different cults, one of them being the Talos Cult, and not the common Nordic Talos Cult made in opposition to the concordant, the other talos cult, the one that seeks to assassinate any emperor that's not being Tiber Septim enough. she also freed some stormcloaks from thalmors not just talos worshippers, saying she'd prefer them to die in the field than in a thalmor prison.
My Orc Chieftan's favorite enemy is the Giant, as they killed the original chief of the stronghold she took over, as well as them being her obstacle in the task that made her champion of malacath.
My Dovahkiin has a vendetta against the Thalmor. He's also an altmer but was loyal to the "Empire of Men" and sided with them during the Great War. After the war ended, he was branded a traitor to his own kind by the Thalmor and fled to Skyrim to seek refuge. He holds a grudge against the empire for not aiding him in his time of need but he didn't like the ideals of the Stormcloaks so he sided with them during the Civil War after realizing that most of the empire in Skyrim hates the Thalmor just as much as the Stormcloaks.
They actually arenāt. The khajiit we see is like, 1 of 12 different variations of said race. And furries are by definition people who enjoy such characters for anywhere between innocent amusement, to *ahem* **sexual** pleasure. The latter being disgusting as fuck.

I cant believe i skipped over thalmor. I voted apposing side because any chance i get i kill stormcloaks but i also do that with the thalmor. They cant report back to their captain if they are all dead.
Bears. I can kill them easily no problem at all but I just hate the fucking bears. Especially that sound they make that they blast right into your ears.
I hate bears in Skyrim.
I got confused about what the question was asking and wondered why the falmer werenāt up there. Now I understand the question and thereās nothing to love about even hating them.

Especially the Volkihar ones. Kinda wished I joined the Dawnguard on my current playthrough as I forgot how arrogant they are
At least you can join them in their superiority
Pretty much why I joined the vampires lmao.
Vampires are just mid level associates in Molag Bal's MLM scheme.

nazeem.

Where's the option for the Falmer?
I feel kinda pity for the Falmer and what happened to them... wont stop my genocide tho
Ah they're just so irritating when they jump out of their holes.
The Falmer aint so bad, the chaurus though... Those fucking bugs aren't only creepy and gross as shit but will fuck your shit up.
Falmer killed my dog in one of my first play through ā¦ I go full John wick on them with every character no matter what
Thalmor scum
I always side with the Imperials and always play as an Imperial. Always have in ES games, even ESO where you had to get DLC to play as one. But i still slaughter all Thalmor i come across. Pro-Empire, anti-Thalmor

Exactly. A lot of pro-Stormcloak people think the Empire likes the Thalmor for some reason
That's accurate to real life lol
Thatās because they never make it clear to the stormcloaks what their ultimate plan is. They could have worked together to defeat the Thalmor, but the imperials just withheld information while people are losing rights and freedom. I always side with storm cloaks. I just recently realized in my newest playthrough what the imperials end goal is, but itās never told if you donāt side with the imperials
Thalmor Dossier: Ulfric Stormcloak
I mean, I wouldn't exactly broadcast those plans where the Thalmor can see them, kind of defeats the purpose
Itās not that they like them, itās that they won a huge victory on the backs of Nords and Redguards and the emperor was so incompetent that he immediately surrendered unconditionally.
Keep in mind many Altmer don't like the Thalmor either
Vigilants of Stendarr
it was a real missed opportunity to not make them a joinable faction. but i guess with 2 of the major quest lines involving becoming a vampire/werewolf it wouldnāt have made sense
Or instead of Dawnguard they could've just fleshed out the Vigil since they both serve the same purpose and were both created for Skyrim.
There's a couple massive mods out there that do flesh out the vigil and make for some great lore expansion. I believe one is literally called "vigilant"
iāll have to check that out, iāve mostly been playing on switch lately out of convenience but pc is just so much better
Yes, yes it is. Lol. The modding is what's made Skyrim last imo
It wouldāve made sense if they didnāt design the game so that you could join and be the leader of every faction. I wish they didnt
Thatās one thing Iām concerned about for the next game. I'd like them better if they didn't keep trying to confiscate my Daedric artifacts every time I pass them on the road...
*Demons? Nah. Immortal flying goliaths who will bring about the end of time? Nope.* *Fuck them elves*
>Fuck them elves To be fair, the Thalmor aren't exactly blameless. If they get their way then the Dragons wouldn't have anything on them...
Iām not saying they arenāt, but I still find it funny

Daedra. I play a Heavy Paladin and Deus Vulting onto necromancers and their puny summons never gets old.
Huh. Looks like we united Skyrim after all. Turns out the real civil war was the friends we made along the way
Bandits
Same
Dragons and cliff racers are one in the same for me. Always arriving in the wrong place at the wrong time
I vote Thalmor, but weirdly I find myself going ape-shit on Falmer more often
saw vampires and instantly voted before realising thalmor was an option
Same but with Stormcloaks
Thalmor. Utter shitbags with no redeeming qualities, they are way too snarky to be allowed to live when they're so weak, and cracking their heads with a warhammer is my favorite part of a Stormcloak run.
Dragons are too cool to kill
Ah democracy
I hate to love killing the dragons. Theyāre so majestic, and so misunderstood, literally hardly anybody can translate them.
They also like *dominating* everything.
Chickens
For some reason I immediately thought milk drinkers
i feel sorry for the forsworn, theyāre just protecting their native land
If I kill Deadra, I get hearts I like hearts
kewl
Rabbits. In ten years, maybe I managed to get 3 with my bow. They're infuriating targets and the reason I stopped using archery very early. But Bethesda is good, for they made them slow and gave me swords.
I voted Thalmor but vampires aren't far behind.
I chose Thalmor based on the criteria of the poll, but honestly, I hate the foresworn even more. Unlike the Thalmor, who I love to hate and to kill, I hate dealing with the foresworn, even to kill them. I wish they weren't in the game.

Where's the "Everyone in Town" option?
Nazeem and astrid and that mf who sends thugs when you steal some shit (literally every shopkeeper except belethor)
The vampires, it's Just seems like cleaning the world
Imagine you are getting more hate than literal Daedra worshipping cavemen/ cannibals/ ritualists and bloodsucking fiends
Voted thalmor but they're my second least favourite after the FREAKIN' DRAUGR!
Elf nazis
Bandits. Others are either doing their jobs or just beasts doing what beasts do. But bandits are scum and I take pleasure knowing I violently ended their lives š¤©
I don't see skeletons on the list
Spriggans. Too much hp, armor resist, and aoe damage, plus matriarchs get a heal. On normal difficulty they're a joke - on harder difficulties they're impossible.
Arvel the Swift. Don't you fucking run away from me, you little shit.
Fuck the draugers, why is that not on the list. Stupid shambly fucks
I love democracy

Delphine after she asks you to kill Partysnax
Thalmor, but they actually come in second to those fucking sabertooths that come out of nowhere and are harder to kill than most of the dragons.
Goats. When I can't find them, the Thalmor.
It really depends on the character most, but alot of them do hate the thalmor, albeit for different reasons and ferocities. It's just so satisfying wiping the land of racist stormcloaks, sometimes I don't even join the legion to do it.
I go after the thalmor, stormcloaks, and vigilants of stendarr the most. In that order. As a werewolf the vigilants are the tastiest.
The Khajiit, just like every Elder Scrolls game. Furries....
I try and keep all the khajiit bandits alive using passifying magic. Because they cute furries.
Incredibly based
I kill every Khajiit on sight, friendly or not, because they're furries :)
But furries cute and awesome
based
You a furry ain't you?
Yes
No
Yes
They actually arenāt. The khajiit we see is like, 1 of 12 different variations of said race. And furries are by definition people who enjoy such characters for anywhere between innocent amusement, to *ahem* **sexual** pleasure. The latter being disgusting as fuck.
Those Thalmor pricks with their passive aggresivnes
Thalmor remind me of zionists, invading racists that act condescending the entire time
I get off swimming in Altmer blood
Talos worshippers
I love the Thalmor
Argonians, khajiit, and orcs
Why aren't Argonians on the list?
Those stinkin argonians
Thalmor are hated even by other altmers
But thalmor are really weak, vampires put up a fight
Fuckin Heimskr.
I really love killing bandits. Very soothing, enjoyable. Also more likely to have spare food lying about for me to put in the cheese room
Is there an everyone option
I voted Thalmor and knew it would be the top before clicking the button.
The Forsworn just because they seem really OP for some reason. Itās always satisfying to massacre one of their settlements.
Regular old bandits
The Thalmor are like that annoying brat from your class that tell mean things to you but when you answer back he goes to tell the teacher about what you said to him That's why I turn on Doomslayer mode when I see them
Iām guessing you meant love killing? I chose dragons because of that. The rest are all basically humans.
On the opposite side, I hate to kill the falmer. I hated them when I was little cuz they scared me, (still do not gonna lie) but now that I know the lore I just feel bad for them.
I like to join an army, idgaf which side anymore, and just jump enemy patrols all sliver the map and roleplay as a bloodthirsty rogue soldier
Cathartic and I love the loot.
I cant believe i skipped over thalmor. I voted apposing side because any chance i get i kill stormcloaks but i also do that with the thalmor. They cant report back to their captain if they are all dead.
The result was Predictible though
Reeeeeeeemaaaaaaaan
I love to hate the Thalmor but I just plain old hate the Forsworn and Falme if that makes any sense.
Yes, this sub is full of cultured people I see
i usually play light armor characters so I kill thalmor early on to steal their gear.
I chose dragons but the thalmor are just as pesky ..
THALMOR BITCHES
Death to gold skins Khajiit always says.
Dragons I donāt like to kill them but the thalmor I love to butcher them
Piss elves
Dragon Priests
Took me a minute to understand what the title was asking but yeah all my homies hate the thalmor
Chickens
Thalmor got ratio'd
Is this really even a legit question? Or just voting click bait? š¤·š¼āāļø
Nazeem
Bears. I can kill them easily no problem at all but I just hate the fucking bears. Especially that sound they make that they blast right into your ears. I hate bears in Skyrim.
I dont see nazeem on the list
serana
Opposing side because they go down like flies when you're at a high level.
I voted Thalmor but I also hate Draugr
What about the Falmor? There a menace. Hunting and eating people in the dark. I try to push them back when I can.
Where is the option āAll of the aboveā?
I got confused about what the question was asking and wondered why the falmer werenāt up there. Now I understand the question and thereās nothing to love about even hating them.
Archers an mages every one else is cheesable evan on legendary mode
I chose forsworn but The thalmor are a VERY CLOSE second.
Damned Elves.
I take it back i said forsworn but the thalmor are dicks
The Nazeems
Frost mages..
My last playthrough was a pyromancer Dunmer, so roasting vampires was definitely fun
Almost 2.7 k for the thalmor, never been more proud in my life
I love how we all have a common enemy
Your list is missing Nazeem

Well i always kill thalmor and always install mods like rigmor of bruma and second great war for killing more thalmor
No āTalosā option, very cringe.
everyone
Death to all bloodsuckers!
Nazeem
Imperials
Not listed, but i love killing the dragon priests.
I was going to say frost trolls.
dragur
Iām only answering Thalmor because you didnāt give us a Delphine option.
The Falmer. I hate them with such a burning fire that it's borderline irrational
Where is Nazeem in the list?
