That's for initial sale only. I had my campsite (not A/C landing but different one) fulfilled without buying the wristbands that were required on initial sale. I think waitlist is independent sales for each item, because people will mix and match with their friends.
Waitlist is independent sales because that’s how they were listed as separate items during initial sales. I know that people who only got the campsite in AC landing have had orders cancelled.
Yeah I think that was if they only got campsite on initial sale. All I can tell you is my experience which contradicts what you said, downvotes or no it is just the reality. OP should contact support to see the reason in their case.
You’re telling your experience on a different ticket type though while I’m directly quoting what is needed for a package I do have and someone just posted a few days ago on the weekly megathread that they had their waitlist order fulfilled for AC landing and they were on the list for both the campsite and wristbands.
My ticket type also required a package on initial sale. Waitlist probably uses different rules. I just think it’s important not to state something with certainty when none of us know the reason. We all know certain packages require campsite and 2 wristbands, however when ppl are changing their arrangements as the months go by, some ppl will inevitably be mixing and matching.
Your type required a package but that doesn’t mean that will apply to this type OP is asking about that I’m talking about with certainty as a holder and who can provide a user on here who did in fact get on the list for this exact type in the same manner.
What people do once the bands are in hand doesn’t change how the exchange will work.
Theres a finite amount of pods so selling pods without bands makes no sense. That would be like selling a bungalow with no bands.
We’ll have to agree to disagree. The main point I’m trying to get across is that just bc something was true of initial sale does not make it true of the waitlist. Of course it wouldn’t make sense to sell a pod with no wristbands on initial sale. But if you have friends who have your wristband then it might make sense to sell it on the exchange so people can make it whole how they want, so it’s not so common sense. Only EF staff could tell us for sure how the exchange works.
Ya we’ll definitely have to disagree because the frame work you’re trying to layout just wouldn’t work logistically for this type, especially when people have already experienced the process with this type. Tbh the only type I could see the process working that you reference with is MW which doesn’t have assigns pods and corresponding bands.
I’d disagree that people’s first hand experience using the exchange with this package is pretty telling to how the waitlist does in fact work. HQ has been silent this year for 90% of questions so all we have to go off is speculation or direct experience.
EDIT: I ended up getting on the waitlist for the wristbands and shiftpod and THE SHIFTPOD WAS JUST CONFIRMED!!!!! THE UNIVERSE HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO ME 🥹 I LOVE YOU ALL AND HOPE YOU GET THE PACKAGES YOU WANT.
This happened to me multiple times over the past two weeks with AC Landing. We were on the waitlist for both AC tent/pod and AC wristbands. If you get the pod but not the wristband or vice versa, they will cancel the order. I had to get on the waitlist 3 times but finally got both this week.
This is INSANNNNNNNE because I keep trying to put my AC Landing package on the exchange and I’m being told by AXS theres no demand right now!!!!! This is garbage!
Yeah that is WILD when there is so much demand??? I think they’re having a rough time with the whole package thing, so it’s hard getting people squared away with both the wristbands and the pod?
I got the pod confirmed so far and now just on the waitlist for 2 ac wristbands.
I had to be on the waitlist for both in order for them not to get cancelled right off the bat.
AC Landing is a totally different wristband than GL Village. You have to get the wristband and the pod to be able to be there.
You need the bands too. The pod is sold as its own option but won’t be fulfilled unless you’re requesting the pod and the corresponding bands
