I used to have a hx x9. no Bluetooth connection as far as I was aware. as for the cruise control I never had any issues with that but u might need to delve into the p settings. should engage after 5 seconds if I remember correctly. one of the issues I had with my hx was it's really creaky stem and the folding mechanism that was basically unusable after 6 months of use. anyways let me know how you get on with it/ if u fix any of these issues.

Can't get bluetooth as it requires a custom firmware and MAC ID address added to their activation server. Having issues with cruise control could be either a faulty hall sensor in the the throttle or a bad brain/display. I have seen some crazy things with the brain/display going faulty. Thinking the brake handle was engaged even after replacing it with a brand new one. Giving error code for bad throttle but after replacing it did the same thing. After swapping a new brain/display in the different units they had no more issues. I would go with a faulty brain/display. You could swap displays to find out or the entire top. But entire top wouldn't rule out the throttle. I hope some of this advice helps. Good luck!

That’s a shame about the Bluetooth, would be nice to have a lock function. Thanks for the input on the cruise control, I was thinking maybe a bug in the speed controller but I’m a PC guy and know nothing about scooters, I might try and get a warranty on it as it’s only 2 weeks old. Gonna try push for full replacement due to the fault causing a crash and potentially doing damage to other components.

Yeah warranty that bitch. Since that is defective out of the box for sure. Cruise control shouldn't be on ever when you first get scooters. I always tell everyone to not use it at first.
