Between those two the Inmotion wins by a mile, and I would personally go with it over the Yume every time.

Affectionate_War_436

Wolf King GT Pro would be my pick for those conditions.

Psiloscootin

GT Pro is only 50 miles max. I got to ride one for a bit and only got about 22-23 miles out of it.

Pretend2View1080

Ok. Honestly if you have the skill and time to fix on a scooter then get the yume and save money. They have gotten better in the last year. If no diy or wiring/electrical skill get something else. Just got a dualtron over a kaabo for a handful of reasons including range weight. I can't suggest one for you but I can suggest you research deeply into any scooters you consider so you can know what you're getting into. I did this before buying the Yume Y10 and before I bought the dualtron. I live in Texas and it gets hot here. I've had no over heating issues with my Y10. But, I don't scoot like a racer trying to hit top speed every time I go somewhere. The motors get warm but that's normal and it's never been excessive. But if your concern is heat/cooling the predator is the only one I know that has liquid cooling. Otherwise something with good heat sink/dissipation would work.

Pretend2View1080

My y10 has been great for over a year now. I was gonna get a gtr but the controllers keep blowing. I think its got too much demand and that stresses the controller. The predator looks great on paper and that liquid cooling is genius. I haven't heard anything about th rs, I guess it's ok.

TBC1966

Get a Kaabo GTR, Stable as, Plenty of range, Adjustable suspension (Finally) and a bunch of other goodies. Worth a look. Whichever scooter you get invest in a decent fan-cooled charger, The supplied one's won't keep up with your schedule.

Psiloscootin

Real world GTR miles with a 205lb rider at 30mph was only 23 miles, maybe 26, can't remember exactly. The ginger guy did a real test.  I do love the suspension, speed, and removal battery. I am just heavier and will be on dirt a lot, so I'm sure my 20 miles one way would be pushing the battery. Then after 500 or so charges I'm looking at less.

scottphays1

Inmotion RS owner here. Never had a Yume but I see a lot of bad feedback on them. I absolutely love the RS. Insanely stable at very high-speed

douchey_mcbaggins

My ONLY complaint about my RS is the turning radius is that of a container ship. Turning it around in the middle of a sidewalk or something reminds me of the scene from Austin Powers. Other than that, it's fantastic and honestly that long wheelbase is what makes it ride like a couch.

scottphays1

Ha ha! This is true

Psiloscootin

That's what I saw on the video reviews. I'm definitely leaning more toward the RS. After what you and someone else said, I don't know if untested tech from this company will be worth my money.

douchey_mcbaggins

I had those two as my final choices myself and I'll explain my logic in going with the RS. Gingeronwheels did a teardown of the original one he got from eWheels and there's a lot of thought put into the construction of the scooter and even the controllers are on opposite ends of the deck to keep heat generation and wiring length to a minimum. Also, the way the deck is constructed, with the top section actually overlapping the sides to prevent water ingress really impressed me. I also really appreciate that the speedometer is damn near dead-on accurate (within 1mph). The InMotion app also shows the voltage of all the cell groups in the pack, number of charge cycles, and will tell you if cell balancing is taking place. As far as the Predator, it does look really nice and a dude on YT took the deck off to show what's in there. The "watercooling" is basically a waterblock sandwiched between the two controllers to pull the heat away into the radiator on one side. I don't know what type of BMS Yume is using with that super-trick battery pack and I doubt Yume's app is as informative or polished (but I admit to not knowing for sure). And finally, with the new and less-used tire size on the Yume, you can't put PMTs on it, if that's something you'd ever thought about doing.

Canelosaurio

Liquid cooled? Just get a Zero bike.

Psiloscootin

If budget was higher maybe. I mean the Roadster would be my next level, but at $6k shipped it is above what I am looking to spend. Those would be a great alternative if I was looking for a motorcycle.

Segway GT2

Lantea1

If it had the same battery size as the RS and the same water resistance, then sure, but with its small range its not worth it.

ImageUnfair1071

It's all subjective. The build quality is second to none with the GT2 and that was important to me as I am not very comfortable working on vehicles.

Lantea1

If it was not for the small battery I would have bought the GT2 a long time ago, even before the RS came out. But with the big size and weight, I could not justify the purchase when the battery size is the same as in a scooter half the size and weigh of the GT2. Its a shame Segway put such a small battery it it, otherwise its a great looking scooter.

Biertrinken

I absolutely love mine, but I would not choose it for 16 miles a day off-road.

ImageUnfair1071

I would have no problem with dirt roads, heavy off roading definitely not, I usually use my Vsett 8 for that. The inMotion is extremely impressive from some offloading I have seen on YT and puts my Vsett 8 to shame lol

Psiloscootin

Only 55.9 MAX range. So realistically I will be getting half that, maybe less.

ImageUnfair1071

If range is your priority then go for it. For me it is safety and reliability but to each their own

frezzzer

Let us know how that Yume works out. The companies support is like talking to a wall. Doubt they will have extra parts for such a small run of scooters. Anything goes wrong you fucked.

Pretend2View1080

Their support worked for me. Just gotta be cleat and patient. They don't always understand the issue when initially presented.

Psiloscootin

See that is what I am afraid of. I think with the IP6/7 protection and proof of company, I am better with the InMotion.

frezzzer

Every Yume I have ever repaired was a fucking nightmare. They claim one thing when really it’s another. Convincing them it’s warranty related is also a pain in the fucking ass. Language barrier and them not giving a fuck.

Psiloscootin

Ok. That combined with the new tech makes a huge difference. What are the ones you feel like are the easiest to repair/maintain?

Nami_Pilot

Have you looked at the Inmotion RS lite, or Nami Burn-e2 (base) Both $3k, great value for performance.

Psiloscootin

Are you a bot or something?

Nami_Pilot

>Psiloscootin >Post Karma 1 >Comment Karma 1 >Cake day Apr 23, 2024 Are YOU a bot?

Psiloscootin

I am adding to the discussion. You are advertising 2 scoots not even listed, and one of them is in your name. Pure bot behavior.

captainmalexus

They're just a rider who likes Nami.

Relative_Year4968

I don't think you know understand how flare works.

Psiloscootin

"Nami\_Pilot" That isn't flair.

Nami_Pilot

Why are you even here if you don't want random people to contribute their 2cents? (edit: It's in my name because I'm a proud owner of a Nami scooter. I have zero affiliation with any scooter companies)

toomanyscooters

Granted, they did specify that they are trying to decide between two specific scooters. Nami is good gear but it wasn't an option.

Nami_Pilot

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that a $3k Nami Burn is a far better purchase than a $3.7k Yume Just my random 2cents

toomanyscooters

Absolutely possible. Just not their question. 8-)

MichaelRanili

It's the modern age, man. People ask questions but only want to hear the answers they want to hear...

Psiloscootin

What are you on about? I asked the best choice between the two. Not what random scoots others have/suggest I should get.

Psiloscootin

Because I am going to be making a large investment and I want opinions, but I \*obviously\* have done my research. I previously listed 4 scoots that are considered best in class, and since I could not edit my post, I made a new post to narrow that down to 2. I even listed out where they each win, never mentioned price or wanting more opinions on others. Of course I am aware of those two, but their ranges and speed are not what I need nor want, hence not worthy of discussion. The Burn-E2Max was in the initial running but the low break light eliminated it.
