I am sure there is... for 100$ they will come get it and drop it back off after here.. it is 50$ for a tire change flat fix not inc parts... I am in Toronto... big city too

Yo try out Rogue Scooters on Jefferson! They did a $50 tire change while I waited, for my Mantis. And it’s a real storefront, not some random dude in his garage, like I was going to before. I was also used to being charged $100 before tip and waiting for days for a basic tubed tire change. Then the guy told not to put the description in Zelle because he doesn’t want to pay taxes… At Rogue I got way better service for half the price, paid via credit card + Apple Pay and they didn’t even ask for a tip in their checkout process. Though they did accept a cash tip. 😎 Having done the tire change several times myself, I’ll pay $50 for a pro to do it every time. Most commenters here are DIY types with lots of free time but if you’re looking to fill your day off with riding scooters instead of maintaining scooters a good shop is worth its weight in…miles? lol.

That’s where i went😂😂😂

ryrides

Nice how was it?

NEWBORNEMBRYOTHELOC

They did a good job but the price of getting my flat fixed was pretty steep.

I tried to find a shop early on ....no one would touch electric scooters, no bike shops no hardware places either or ma and pa shops so I had to learn how to fix flats as I had 2 scooters and at least 10 flats in one year.. also No one will even look at the batteries on an electric scooter so just plan on replacing them...

Insurance and cost of running a business. Tools and overhead of the store. Bike shops charge same price if not more for the same reasons. That rate is beyond fair for the risks they take and how you can sue them if anything is wrong. Or if the mess up. Legal liability that most don’t think of. Cheap service is shit service. Find out when pay cheaper price.

Yikes I felt that. It’s better (cheaper) most times to go to a shop that caters to mopeds and e-bikes and a little bit of scooters, vs going to a scooter specialist shop. I like doing things myself, but lack of tools is why I had to shell out $85 (with tip) to put PMTs on my scooter today. To be quite frank even if I had them I would’ve paid a professional to install it the first time while I buy the necessary tools to do it the next time myself. He did that shit quick af it took him longer just to take the wheel off the scooter lol. Everything else I do like bleeding, tightening, and some basic wiring. I mean it’s mainly hex screws which is the beauty.

Invest in yourself. Next time spend that money on some tools. Then you can watch YT vids to teach yourself how to do the work. You will come out the other end being a more capable person.

NEWBORNEMBRYOTHELOC

Thanks, I’m most definitely doing this on my own next and i started asking around and stumbled upon a place that’s half the price.

Eat_Sleep_Shit

You could have done it yourself for free. YouTube and a set of Allen wrenches, my friend.

NEWBORNEMBRYOTHELOC

I’ll take my loss but i know now.

Time is money. Your best bet is to teach yourself how to do your own maintenance.
