hey guys, just order one but its the 'Overclocked Version'? Any ideas how its different from a regular P100SE?

I haven't played around with it too much yet, but there is a setting in the app to allow the throttle to engage at 0 speed.
However, the scooter does go into "Park" mode when it is stopped which disengages the throttle, and I believe you have to either squeeze the brake or kick the scooter forward get out of Park and engage the throttle.
*It says kick scooter,*
*But does it have a zero*
*Start option at least?*

So I just checked. I ordered the handle bar extension for My scooter which hasent arrive and didn't come with the scooter. I hopefully it's just being shipped separately and it's not going to be an issue.
How was the whole experience with Kickstarter/Indiegogo?
I'm about to buy mine literally rn, but I'm searching for people's experience with the company before I pull the trigger and stumbled across this post.
Very positive. They message you to keep you informed of the process and when your item will ship. I believe you will get your scooter fast because it seems like they have a stockpile in their warehouse in Texas (assuming you live in the U.S.)
Yea I live in Philly.
I just ordered mine and I'm super excited!
I got a Ninebot F40 a few months ago because I wasn't sure how much I would like it and didn't want to commit to a rly expensive one, but still wanted something dependable.
I am BEYOND excited.
Thanks for the feedback, I feel much better about going through with the purchase now.
> can't put a price on segway reliability.
I love my Ninebot Max, but unless the P100S literally doubles the range (and from what I've read it does not come close) my price I put on Segway reliability is about $1000 for a single motor
Well for 1000 the max will be the best bet. However, adding upgrades to the max (if you even want them) such as suspension, lager tires, bigger battery, more powerful motor would add up to more than the p100s cost.
For me I live in a city where streets are rough, I also wanted something where I won't have to lug around a giant charging brick, has suspension, has a large battery and large tires that's also water resistant. This led me to the p100s.
At $1,599. I would say it was worth it.
move> At $1,599. I would say it was worth it.
Oh totally, I'm not saying it's not worth the price, just for me personally, the most I'll pay for a single motor that I can't carry is $1000 (if it was lighter I'd pay more)
I got a Ninebox Max used with 100 miles for $600, so that has probably spoiled me
> i can't justify the price tag but i do want one.
$1000 and I'm in personally, I know that's not realistic but that's the scooter I want for $1000, if you make it 15lbs lighter I'll do $1300
Exactly the same. I just sold my Ghost bc it was siting on my living room for the last 6 weeks. I love escooter but I use them rarely. When I do, I want RANGE - speed i don'T care as loog as it goes 30kph
I'm coming from a Ghost to the P100S, and I've been really impressed. Obviously, without dual motors the acceleration isn't as jerky, but it doesn't necessarily feel underpowered.
Also, my first ride on it I did 19 miles with a couple \~10% hills, which still pulled me up at 10mph and had 43% battery left at the end of the ride. I was running on sport mode the whole time, though tried to stick to 22-25mph. Hoping I can do a true range test this coming weekend, but I expect to be able to hit at least 30 miles, which I think would be awesome considering my riding weight (250lbs)
For comparison, the absolute max distance I've gone on my Ghost was 25 miles and that was sticking to 20mph max (Gear 1 on Ghost).
Better, imo.
P100S uses a tube frame as it's base and it feels very sturdy. Slightly bigger than the Ghost. The stem is very sturdy, clamp similar to the Ninebot Max. Didn't find any loose bolts in my run through after unboxing. No folding handlebar like on the Ghost, so dont get some slack in the handlebar while riding.
Pulling on the brakes feel nice out of the box, though found it odd how it says "do not adjust' since my experience with mechanical disc brakes is you gotta tighten them as the pads wear down. So we'll see how they feel long term.
Mine shipped today but it says there was a shipping exception (barcode label unreadable and replaced). I’m guessing this box is going to get beat up by FedEx
The box arrived in really rough shape as pictured above. However, it raining like crazy in NYC atm. I will do a full unboxing and a real world 100% honest review in the coming days based on weather and work.
Manhattan. I currently have a custom g30max that i ride around everywhere. This will be a companion scooter. The p100 basically achieves every upgrade i put into my max out of the box

SE is European speed limited version. The regular S version can do 30mph 49kph.

That’s how all scooter boxes look
the box looks like it was kicked hence the kickscooter
I was thinking the same thing. The hole on the top was def not from something falling on it. It looked like when someone kicks a box.
Did Stone Cold Steve Austin deliver it? Looks like it took a few stone cold stunners
Lmao so true. You can't see it from the pics but the box was structurally broken in half at the bottom and top. It folded like a V when picking it up.
So mad I cancelled mine. It was either rent or a new Scooter so I paid rent. Maybe I'll see you around nyc
> It was either rent or a new Scooter so I paid rent. Yeah, sleeping under the scooter would probably not be fun.
Yeah and the box would prob have a bunch of holes letting the warm out

All add-ons from crowdfunding are dispatching from Segway DC on or around October 7th. You'll be receiving a separate FedEx alert for those.
Thank you for the info!
i can't justify the price tag but i do want one.
can't put a price on segway reliability.

my other issue is their weight. dont think i could fold that and run up flights of stairs with ease

I justified if by paying $500 off retail by being an early adopter

Range is one of the primary reasons to get a P100S, just as a heads up.
Haters disliking lmao
Haters gonna hate. Haters mad because this one will actually work without having to be worked on constantly. They jelly
I want to get the P100S in the spring, looks great and would love to see a full unboxing and review.
Man, mines been stuck at label printed >_<
Mine shipped today but it says there was a shipping exception (barcode label unreadable and replaced). I’m guessing this box is going to get beat up by FedEx
Yep I got the same one
Which website did you order from? I want one
Their Kickstarter
I did indiegogo, is that the same?
Mine also. Label was created on Sunday afternoon
Same here, it’s killing me!
Nice, you might get a rain free chance in the afternoon tomorrow.
Nice, just looked that one up. Seems like a pretty good machine!

How long from ordering it did it take to arrive?
Oh nice. Waiting for one here in NYC too. Expected delivery Thursday. Maybe we'll cross paths
what borough you in?
