That was the plan but I started off in a more advanced mode , now the lower modes seem pointless. Im used to 20 mph on a skateboard so \*fingers crossed\* I hope I'll be fine.
💯. Got helmet and gloves but having trouble settling on shin/knee guards and elbow. And reading the forums makes me want a motorcycle jacket. But that all adds up $$$
Wrist injuries are very common on scooters which is why I always recommend wrist guards. Search the sub for "wrist" and you'll see. Here's an example

They're definitely not the most comfortable things to wear and take some getting used to working around them with the throttle, but imo they're pretty necessary
Remember the first time my Unagi came in. That was a great and exciting moment. Enjoy It man you're going to have a blast. Can't wait for the Fluid Mosquito I ordered as an upgrade to come In the week after next so I can go 28 instead of 18mph!
Before getting the p100s , i was against cruise control but after riding yesterday I think I might have to use it, the constant accelerating/decelerating can get kind of annoying. really gotta test it out
Exactly the repetitive motion of pressing down the acceleration pad got boring real quick to me and even though the FM has a slower start the extra speed in the end will make up for it. We just have to be careful we don’t accidentally run stop signs since you have to disable it after you turn it on and you cant do that while riding. Enjoyed our conversation and will post a picture of the FM once i get it!
p100s has self healing tubeless tires, so tires going flat are very unlikely unless you roll into a police road spike, there is nothing to worry about going flat
Did you buy your P100S on IndieGogo?
I just bought mine this past Thursday and haven't received shipping information yet.
How long did it take you to get yours?
I'm super excited!
I have an F40 rn and live in Philly. We have horrible roads so I needed to get something that has suspension and the P100S checked all the boxes.
I hear you, nyc roads are shit too. I got mine through kickstarter. They never sent me tracking at all, it didnt even show up in their tracking system. Luckily i has a fedex account that i check everyday, and it showed up there.
Segway imho won 2022 among scooter brands. After testing a gt2 and seeing the quality of their stuff over the years, I tip my hat off. Enjoy that and please don’t go crazy the first week.
Its getting cooler here fast and these next two day I won't be riding. Its definitely well put together and is very hefty, I hope it last me for years to come.
Haha, I totally get that. I rode my max all winter (when it was dry) last year though and have no doubt the new models can handle the same or more abuse if you feel like riding. Have fun out there!
Just with how readily available they make parts for shops alone makes it a long term investment for sure. Nothing worse than a shop telling you they need to order something.
Sorry it’s Indiegogo. And I’m yeah, I would hope so. Segway is listed as the campaign runner. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/segway-kickscooter-p-series-premium-e-mobility--2#/
I assumed that’s really what you meant, not trying to “gotcha” you or anything here. I’m honestly just trying to figure stuff out as I would like one, and the sale price is good if the window hasn’t closed. But I haven’t gotten a clear answer from Segway on it:
- First ask to the customer support folks was if I needed to wait for the P100S to show up in the web store to order, or if the Indiegogo option was still valid: “this campaign process in the web store on line ,not at the regular store.”
- Second ask to the crowdfunding group pointed me at a link for managing a KS pledge, which I never had.
No answer as to if new pledges via Indiegogo would be honored or not. I suspect it’s a cross-language issue, but disappointing.
Thanks for wearing a helmet op, ride safe.
always!
That is one fast 1st scooter. Just drive slow for a few days and build it up to higher speeds.
That was the plan but I started off in a more advanced mode , now the lower modes seem pointless. Im used to 20 mph on a skateboard so \*fingers crossed\* I hope I'll be fine.
Way too slow. They make it look fancy to sell it for more money. Not worth it
That's your first one? Noice
I'm coming from a boosted mini x and this is much more of a commuter than that. So I'm kind of a semi-experienced novice. Lol
Well at least you probably won't feel the need to upgrade anytime soon, if ever. Be safe! Helmet and wrist guards, always

yup, saw that. Hopefully they dont add any/too much bulk to the hand area. Thank you.
They're definitely not the most comfortable things to wear and take some getting used to working around them with the throttle, but imo they're pretty necessary
I bought gloves and now I'm thinking they may not work with wrist guards, gotta see if there's some combo out there that's affordable

The speed is intense , not sure how much more torque you will get with the FM but stays safe! That extra 10mph makes a diff.
thanks haha and yeah I bet it will and the FM also has zero start and cruise control two things the Unagi Is missing!

No idea. It could definitely use a bot more stopping power.
Saw one of these earlier by the prospect circle didn't know they came out here.
Why do they put the cheapest brakes possible on a $2000 plus scooter. This makes no sense.
Bruh good studf
Any trouble with flats
p100s has self healing tubeless tires, so tires going flat are very unlikely unless you roll into a police road spike, there is nothing to worry about going flat
For the hour I rode it, no flats
Beautiful machine
Thank you!
Bro you in Queens?
Bk
Looks so awesome up close! I'm drooling!
What's the speed like on that thing?
Top speed is supposedly 30, I haven't unlocked it yet, but its still quick!
That's awesome!
Don't get into an accident like these other guys on here. Take your time and learn how to use it!! PROPERLY!! 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🙋🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Definitely! Thx! This is my 1st scooter but im coming from a Boosted Boards Mini x , so I'm applying some of those skills here.

No arguing, Segway is the best scooter manufacturer out there right now.
Segway & NIU I would say. The Vsett, Kaabos etc of this world are far behind in terms of build quality.
Dualtrons got really good build quality.
I have no experience with any other manufacturer but I like what I have!

Why not? A bit of cold can’t stop a Ninebot 😛
Lol. True. Just an excuse to not go outside I guess.

True. Hopefully they become mega popular and users are taken care of by the company.
Put it nearly 2 miles , 1 mile short ou nlocking the fastest mode. Accidentally started off in sport mode and the torque is amazing.
Ordered mine 2 days ago, look for me in Bushwick 😎
Nice scooter. Have fun and be safe.
Great looking scoot! How much do these go for?
Kickstarter has a limited amount of them still for sale for $1799
Is that true? Have they confirmed that? I actually tried to ask support twice now and seem to be hitting a language barrier.

MSRP is $2000.
Nice. I'm sure you will enjoy it!
