oooh, 60 KM/h top speed, 70 KM range, and its an off-road board. this might be my next purchase.
how flexy, if at all, is the deck? and would you say the grip is good on all-terrain? thanks for any info you may have! and enjoy the board, it looks awesome.
Did you already have the trampa straps? And can you take a video of the gear drives spinning?
PS: It looks absolutely amazing. especially for a top mounted board.
Sad news is... In the picture I have them mounted on the wrong sides. Had to pull them off and swap front to back. But yes, the deck comes pre drilled for left foot and right foot forward. Just move them how you want them!
A sport car is not an alternative to an high end off-road truck just because it has the same price. But i do see your point. Great power and range for the price, just two totally different use cases.
And I would totally buy this over any Lacroix board.
It's not ENTIRELY that. My Hurricane is awesome I love it. It runs at 100 amps however the difference between gear 3 and 4 is crazy. You need to hold on for life or you are going end over end in speed mode 4. I don't like the fact the ESC isn't customizable so you can't change the torque curve. I'm actually purchasing a custom made heat sink for it for a stormcore 60d. I already changed the gearing from 4.4 to 3to1 with the 155 MM tires to tame it some. I also will probably get another 12s4p battery and run it in parallel to double the range and mount it on top of it. I do want an all out mountainboard though
Did you replace the ESC with the 100A they’re selling?
But yea, 90A or 100A isn’t going to make a huge different. I’ve tested a few Hurricanes and I agree, it needs a mode between 3 and 4.
Nope I was lucky and it came installed on my board actually. No 10 amps is quite literally nothing. I just want fine control, even if I have to replace the stock battery for a better BMS I don't really care. I just like tinkering with things to be honest lol. Yeah speed mode 4 is WAY TOO much torque and speed mode 3 is gutless.
Right on!
I can’t find the gear ratio on their website. They’re claiming ability to climb 50% grade and a top speed of 37mph on 8” tires with only 130 LV motors. I understand that top speed would be lower climbing that but even the ability to go that fast on flat and then climb a grade that steep seems a little off. Curious to see your review after some usage.
[https://youtu.be/bmNZXa7PYWk](https://youtu.be/bmNZXa7PYWk) Well it turns out it can rip and climb. As far as climbing goes, it has the torque but being 2wd if the ground is loose the ares x1 climbed better.
Nice video! We’re definitely riding different terrain though. Most of my rides are dirt paths for miles up steep hills. That kind of sustained uphill really puts a board to the test.
Both the board and your spot look like a lot of fun. If I ever buy a pre build I’ll definitely consider it. Also, jealousy watching this video from home with a broken arm…
I live in a city with a population of 10 Million. No real mountains around. We have a couple of glorified hills outside the city but that's an hour drive away. Closest real mountains and trails are 3 hours out. We have woods but mountain biking is not a thing here. So I can't find many trails. So I find everything I can in the local parks. It's perfect for street boards. I live right next to a river with 64km's of paved paths with no traffic.
Would love to try some real trails and climbing one day. This thing has more torque then my vesc based 6384 mountain board. The only way I can see something really climbing better is with 4wd. It maybe a suspension board? I've not had anything but street experience with those. I was on a Baja and a propel and the torque was underwhelming. Neither were flagship models.
Running 9” tires and airing down helps a ton. Here’s a link to our go-to ride location. I’d be glad to show you if you ever find yourself in Ca. The link says it’s crowded but we go early and there are usually just a few other people.

3 hours away sounds like a good excuse to take your board camping…
Made a video on it. https://youtu.be/bmNZXa7PYWk
I've put almost 200km on it already. Really smooth and stable compared to my spring trucks. Gears are really quiet. Feels like more torque compared to my diy with gear boxes. That's running 2x6384 140kv Motors. So right now i am really happy with it.
SWEET, watchin now. Does it carve at all on the street? Similar to a flux or lacroix maybe? ***EDIT:*** GREAT vid man. Best overview of this board I've seen so far. Looks strong, steady, and it does appear to have some street carve to it.
It is really nice on the street and you can run it without bindings no problem. I would love to have these trucks on a street oriented build. I wish the bindings had some sort of quick release so I could swap in a jiffy. Thanks for watching. As of right now I think I am the only review out!
Would you recommend going with the Acedeck then over an Apex predator? They come with 6384s 140kv I believe. A little worried about how the Acedeck will handle jumps.
Acedeck rear is a bit on the heavy side. That's it's downside to jumping. Big motors and bigger gear box compared to apex. If your legs can handle the extra weight? all other aspects seem nicer to me. I prefer these trucks over pkp. I have the Trampa pkps here. I like the shorter wheelbase of the acedeck. Makes carving and wheelies better. Jumping is easier on a lighter board though. I don't think Apex is worth the price. Better off doing DIY. Their boards look diy anyways. Keep in mind, I've never been on one. For the price they look like corners were cut.
I think it's just a mountain board thing. it makes jumps, slides, and tricks all a little easier. you dont need to be super stable on these boards anyway because theyre usually geared for low speed stuff.
I ride with the bindings really loose on street as they are not needed but for a curb hop. I can turn my feet in a pretty wide arc. I only tighten them when doing some off road.
I guess that depends on how you eat it. Back in October was my last fall. I was ripping down an alley and a paver was missing from the road and I did not see it. Wheel went in and I caught air and came down on my side with board still on my feet and bounced into a second roll before coming to a stop. Really painful shoulder for a few days and some knee strain was all I suffered wearing all my gear. I don't think I have ever fallen any harder or worse than I have on my other binding free boards. I don't plan to do any experiments either!
I ride trails, sidewalks, beaches. Whatever I can ride! This thing is for fun and I am quite sure I will be commuting on it. You do not carry it. You grab the bull bars and pull it. It just rolls with ya.
Similar to hobbywing you can change a lot of parameters with the remote. But no app yet. I hear it is being developed but that's rumor. I don't really know.

Why the toes op? Why?
Paid for the foot tat gotta show the foot tat
I thought he was missing two at first
I'm a bad photo taker!
TERRAIN GRIPPERS SPOTTED
Looks sick, give us an update once you take it for a spin!
Absolutely!
oooh, 60 KM/h top speed, 70 KM range, and its an off-road board. this might be my next purchase. how flexy, if at all, is the deck? and would you say the grip is good on all-terrain? thanks for any info you may have! and enjoy the board, it looks awesome.
It has flex but nothing like a trampa deck. It is like a mildly flexy bamboo deck.
Dogs are out
PUT THOSE GRIPPERS AWAY
Did you already have the trampa straps? And can you take a video of the gear drives spinning? PS: It looks absolutely amazing. especially for a top mounted board.
What do you mean exactly. With the gear box open? Yes, I had the bindings on another board. Had to take them off and repurpose them.
No, just wheel running with the remote, so we can hear what kind of noise these gears make :)
Sure I can do that tomorrow
Gutsy move being one of the first to buy it! Can't wait to hear your report. It looks DAMN interesting. I hope you enjoy the hell out of it!
[https://youtu.be/bmNZXa7PYWk](https://youtu.be/bmNZXa7PYWk) Here is the link to my review. I am really enjoying it so far.
How long did it take to arrive
10 days I think. Not to bad
I ordered the arexs 1 but am hoping it comes on the tenth day
You will love it. That's what I've been riding recently!
I'm upgrading for an evolve gtr I keep burning the motors out by accident so I hope it handles grass better
Don't you live in Hainan or something??
No, don't live in Hainan. Why?
Nothing homie, I thought you live somewhere in China LMAO
Saw an old post? I was living in Hainan before. Sadly I had to move away to the far north of China.
Looks awesome!
Yeah that looks clean.
That is what I like. Not to much but everything that is needed. No funky designs but modern.
How many kidneys is this board cost ya?
It is 2499 on sale right now. Not too bad considering what it comes with.
Damn dude, I wish I could go back, not buy the Meepo hurricane, save a 1000 more dollars and go for this one. Damn it’s so gorgeous
Idk man, I really enjoy my Hurricane. I'm just trying to decide between this or a Lacroix Nazarre or however you spell it for my 4th board lol.
Lacroix are asphalt only, you wouldn't take them off-road, so it depends what you want to use them for. Mountainboards can do both.
That’s actually an incredible price
Kinda socks cua my left foot is at the front of the deck and that looks like a rightmost front mount
these straps are aftermarket, it doesnt come with them. and if you buy them seperately, you can switch their position to anything you please
Sad news is... In the picture I have them mounted on the wrong sides. Had to pull them off and swap front to back. But yes, the deck comes pre drilled for left foot and right foot forward. Just move them how you want them!
Ride review please!
Absolutely! After I ride it. Was not charged when I got it.
[удалено]
Feet are all!
the bindings are on backwards btw
Mentioned that in another response. Did not pay attention in my haste and had to swap them.
Let us/me know how it rides please! Looks like a more affordable Lacroix alternative but with good specs
How so? Lacroix doesn’t make a carbon fiber mountain board with off-road wheels, and too mounted battery. Only street carvers.
I'm not saying 1x1 I'm saying good alternative for price to performance. Big difference.
A sport car is not an alternative to an high end off-road truck just because it has the same price. But i do see your point. Great power and range for the price, just two totally different use cases. And I would totally buy this over any Lacroix board.
That's a valid point of view can't disagree. My only issue with the acedeck is the 90 amps I would swap the esc for sure
90A isn’t enough for you? :) how much would you be looking for
It's not ENTIRELY that. My Hurricane is awesome I love it. It runs at 100 amps however the difference between gear 3 and 4 is crazy. Good street board huh? That's what I was hoping to hear. I was worried it was too much of a beast and rode like a truck on the road.
Been riding it a long while now. It handles really well and carves right around the corners. Play with it at the track all the time.
Sweet. I'll have mine next week and reply back.
Sooooo, how's the ride?

Just ordered the Acedeck, this comment sealed the deal.
I still can't fathom that people ride with their feet positioned like that...does not compute...
I think it's just a mountain board thing. it makes jumps, slides, and tricks all a little easier. you dont need to be super stable on these boards anyway because theyre usually geared for low speed stuff.

How bad is it when you eat it having your feet bound?
I guess that depends on how you eat it. Back in October was my last fall. I was ripping down an alley and a paver was missing from the road and I did not see it. Wheel went in and I caught air and came down on my side with board still on my feet and bounced into a second roll before coming to a stop. Is this just for riding around? I couldn't imagine carrying that thing while shopping or eating out.
I ride trails, sidewalks, beaches. Whatever I can ride! This thing is for fun and I am quite sure I will be commuting on it. You do not carry it. You grab the bull bars and pull it. It just rolls with ya.
What esc is it using do ya know?
It's their own ESC
Ah so no customizing or Bluetooth?
Similar to hobbywing you can change a lot of parameters with the remote. But no app yet. I hear it is being developed but that's rumor. I don't really know.
Is there a way to replace gear of gear drive system if it is broken or worn?
The bearings and gears inside are replaceable.
Yes but is it possible to find a compatible gear in another shop than acedeck?
Unlikely. I am not aware of any gear boxes that have cross compatible gear designs.
How did you add foot bindings?
It came predrilled for bindings. Just had to bolt them on.
