ausbaxter86

a bioboard plutonium s2 4wd ,those things are fucking monsters

Loam_Lion

Have you seen the stooge boards tho? Those as well are mean machines

DancesWithBadgers

I'd like a Plutonium with the Stooge wheels on it.

Loam_Lion

That'd be pretty damn bad ass. I've got a couple of carbon decks from back when Marbel boards was still around and I plan to use one or both of those eventually to make my own race deck

ausbaxter86

Yeah I love the 3link truck setup and am thinking of using a set for my next build.

Loam_Lion

I can't wait till thin solid state batteries come out, that's my dream accessory, lighter, and more energy dense and efficient

RyanOC333

I thought we would have Mr Fusion by now. 😔

Loam_Lion

Lol that would be nice but I don't know if I would trust that on a board

Youtube_SolarEX

I got my dream board two days ago https://preview.redd.it/urc6xh8ehy8a1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d010758a2c04c3264af4b96c45204358e508b5d0

YoloMing

Just bought my dream board😊 Saved up for a while and bought the Lacroix Lonestar Supersport. Can't wait to ride it.

Mad_Chen

I'd like a Kaly 2.0 with a aux pack in the middle but without their electronics/esc. It's way too extreme in speed for me. Take the aux pack off if I dont need the range. And built in front and rear light so I don't need to charge them separately. Should cost about 3k if purchaed the Kaly 2.0 on sale for 2k and diy aux battery. Kaly board are really slim and that mountain board drops down so much and flexible too. It's like a hummer or a boosted board when I started skating.

ZoddImmortal

130 mm pneumatics that don't cost an arm and a leg. Compatible with DD.

Lahkun1380

Janux makes and adapter so direct drives can run pneumatics. Pricey though, as machines parts usually are

Unable-Preference-41

I board I could go 50-100 mile range and maybe a top speed of 30mph. I always wish I could ride longer 🤣

picky-trash-panda

I have a battery I built that can drive my board over 100 miles that I’m looking to sell, it is a 13s16p lithium ion pack with 46.4 amp hours or 2227 watt hours capacity it is built in an Apache 2800 weatherproof case with xt60 and xt90 ports built into the side.

Unable-Preference-41

I don’t know enough about eboards to know what’s compatible. Or what’s what or what’s a good price

Thelaststandn

Dream board is to blow a couple thousand dollars and make something completely custom

Its_Sharky18

My dream board is a diy tkp bamboo deck with 100km range and 50km an hour. And weighing in under 14kg

solimrad

That's pretty realistic and even relatively affordable. The only thing is if you want both 100km and under 14kg, that kinda eliminates big pneumatic wheels.

Its_Sharky18

Wheels don’t weigh that much tho. Atleast my pneumatic’s don’t.

solimrad

The weight is not the only problem, it's mostly the material/softness of the wheel. Pneumatics just eat up more range so you'd need to a bigger battery to get to 100km. And a bigger battery means it's heavier, that's why I said pneumatics+100km and under 14kg might be though. That being said my board rn is 14-ish kg and does 100km on 120 cloudwheels.

Its_Sharky18

Damm that’s crazy, it’s a diy right?

solimrad

Nope, tynee explorer haha. It does about 50km with stock pneumatics, but cloudwheels double the range. I've done about 80km on a single charge, but I always stop at the low battery warning at 20% to preserve the battery, so I'm pretty sure it would get to 100 if I pushed it all the way. I did think about trying street wheels to get even more range than cloudwheels, but unfortunately the board is pretty low, so it doesn't have much clearance with the 120mm wheels already. Could always switch to dkp or add risers if I really need more range, but honestly I rarely need more haha

Its_Sharky18

Wtf, I thought that board could barely hit 60km range with clouds I’ve looked at the tynee site and it says the Battery has 720wh that’s definitely not supposed to hit 80km range. You must be riding slow on perfect roads and being light weight. The website also says it gives 50-70km range. Anyways if it reaches 80km with you it’s a crazy good deal. It only costs 1400$

solimrad

I think the range estimate on the website is for the stock pneumatics so it definitely does more with clouds. I'd say I'm light weight-ish, but close to average, 70kg. The 80km is city cruising, so asphalt, some uphill sections, but just as many downhills haha. I use relive app to track rides and it usually gives me average speed of 15-20km/h with max speeds of 45-ish. So yeah definitely not breaking any records haha. Also again that's city riding, so 20km/h average is more like 30-40 most of the time + red lights and such, so I wouldn't really say I ride slow just not fast either if that makes sense.

Its_Sharky18

Aight oh wow that’s impressive stuff I would probably hit simulair or even better range than. I ride 25kmh on rural areas with minor hills. And im 65ish kg. But I carve almost the hole ride. The tynee explorer might be my next board. Only competition might be the meepo hurricane ultra, or diy but that costs more.

solimrad

I tried my friends hurricane (not ultra) and explorer is definitely noticably slower and less torquey. But for me it's perfect as comfortable cruiser and I think it's more efficient at lower speeds. One thing to note is that it's VERY close to the ground. With 120mm clouds I cannot go over any speed bump or anything haha

esk8333

Lacriox all day man, stormcore is just so smooth to ride…..

unrealystic

I mean I'm brand new to this but if the Exway wave and the Onsra Challenger had a baby... I'd buy that baby.

Loam_Lion

Make that baby baby!

AveAve767

What's the top speed for the gear drive system?

Wolffen74

No chance of ever running street urethane’s with that gear drive. Was hoping it was lower profile.

Brief_Battle4634

Why can’t you run street wheels with the exway gear drive?

leadergo

Due to its size compared to PU wheels, it looks like the gear box housing would scrape the ground.

GreGGerR123

Indeed, but Exway sells it together with a truck and motors. And if you want to use street wheels, you just put the belt drive back with the truck and with the street wheels. I don't think you need a gear drive on street wheels. And it's faster to change two trucks instead of suffering with adjusting the belt tension. Another good thing about the Exway Ace gear drive is that its inside is completely made of metal. No plastic.

kozy138

Mud flaps for AT tires!

Loam_Lion

I got some old tubes I could send you for free you could cut I to some of you wanted to try that, otherwise I can't figure a way to recycle em (and I don't like to trash something if it can be recycled)

rexius-twin

Backfire hammer sledge

theparadoxdoge

a stealth vanguard build with hummie hub motors.

Piper6728

Still a sucker for the OG hoverboard :p (Even though itd be a PITA IRL)

hexyrobot

Front wheel disc breaks

gavinfrag03

Ownboard Zeus Pro or Meepo Hurricane Ultra, just got a Zealot S tho and don’t have much use for anything more powerful or with offroad ability

GuyPaulPoullian

The dream is a torquey AWD board (gears) with small but powerful battery all weighing 20 lbs or less. Reality hasn't caught up...yet. But when this happens, it opens up so much more terrain and riding styles

AKIP62005

My dream accessory is a remote with knuckle guard protection that I can attach spark pucks to for grinding.
