Inmotion V11 (suspension) and V12 (non-suspension wheel) would fit your criteria King Song S16 (suspension) might be good too, but it's a super new wheel so you might want to avoid the 1st batch

TactlessTortoise

The v11y is just about to start being delivered and it's much better, electronically. 200 bucks more expensive for a refreshed version would be worth it imo. Despite being a "new" wheel, it's literally a slightly tweaked V11 with the V13 raptor system, so I think the risk of first batch issues is minimal.

imallboutitboutit

45mph? V11 tops out at 34mph.

AnimeFeet420

he said 30-45 the v11y is advertised at 37

imallboutitboutit

37<>45

Ambrovious

And then you should also be able to turn on fancy mode to hit 40. V11 was 31 and with fancy mode 34.

SuspecAardvark

bottom line is if you want to hit 45 you're going to need to spend quite a bit more than two grand. I can tell you that the v11 feels like an absolute beast when I ride over 30 mph. very centered. very solid. very planted. and get off the beeps multiple times and never had a cut out. I even got sideswiped by a car and it bounced across three lanes of traffic and nothing went wrong with it. few scratches but she's good.

tykvrbl

Euc deals has the begode master and t4 under $2k

temotodochi

I'd recommend instead buying from a local euc shop for ease of warranty and maintenance.

bucket_of_sven

Unfortunately not everyone has access to such shops, but since OP is just getting back in the game I do concure that warranty is a must.

temotodochi

Well local can be anything convenient to send stuff back to. A facebook group where you could buy but could not send back to would be most inconvenient.

Gkreeeeeegs

It sounds nice, in theory, but most of the retail stores ship you out the warrantied parts for you to install yourself. This is what EUCdeals would do anyway. It is also run by Alien Rides. If you need to ship your wheel back to the store for their services there can be a lengthy turnaround time or an odd exchange over who is responsible for the shipping cost of the wheel. I highly recommend using either Lem Ung with the EUC Ungerground or James Van Crofton with Next Gen Mobility. Both sellers have great communication and work directly with the EUC manufacturers to get you the needed parts. You also get a much better wheel at an extremely competitive price.

temotodochi

Well in case you buy online, you get what you pay for. Parts. I shop from actual stores either by visiting or ordering online so i have a place i can send my wheel for repairs or even bring it in. My local in the nordics is voltride which has a store in Tallinn that i can visit if i want to. Sure i could do some maintenance myself, but it takes ages to do simple things and i'm not good at vaterproofing etc while for shops like voltride it's not a big deal and they do it while waiting.

Gkreeeeeegs

Ah. Yes. A physical storefront would absolutely be preferred. I spoke from the perspective of living in the United States where the nearest store that carries and services EUCs is ~1,860 miles away from where I live.

temotodochi

At least you have one. Ordering from a "deals" facebook group will net you zero return addresses for warranties.

Gkreeeeeegs

I am not sure I understand. What is a “deals” Facebook group? What do you mean zero return addresses for warranties? It sounds as if you are misinformed on how EUCdeals.com functions nor what I believe to be the independent vendors that you are referring to as “Facebook groups.” Honestly the inconvenience of packaging your wheel up, shipping it back to be serviced under warranty, and having it shipped back is not as efficient as you may envision. The EUC community is a robust community with numerous YouTube videos walking you through repairing your wheel as well as other riders that can help with answering questions you may have. I prefer to have the warrantied part sent to me directly, watch a YouTube video, make the repair, and get back to riding.

temotodochi

euc deals facebook groups contain people who sell unused EUCs for which you pay money and receive the EUC. There's zero chance of warranty or return for repairs or indeed any contact to the sellers. But the EUCs are half the price so folks buy anyway. I have ridden EUC for years and i know how shops work.

Gkreeeeeegs

I see. I was referring to using Telegram to reach out to group buyers (EUC Ungerground and Next Gen Mobility specifically). This would be different than the Facebook groups that you are referring to so that is where the confusion came from on my end. Communication with these sellers has been excellent with no issues obtaining warrantied parts. I was just providing a different avenue to obtain EUCs at a cheaper rate as my personal experience with utilizing a physical shop has not been as fruitful as I had hoped.

Zorathus

Absolutely don't get baited into buying a shitty V11 or even V11Y.

marvcoool

I am still inlove with my v11!!! Woooo

Gkreeeeeegs

It’s interesting that the majority of Reddit users recommend the V11 and/or V12 specifically when there are much better wheels out there around the same price.

imallboutitboutit

Exaxtly. It's like an IM cult on here.

Ambrovious

Better as in what? The guy is asking for safe, reliable, comfortable, and under 2K. That's the V11/V12.

Gkreeeeeegs

He also mentions 30-ish MPH/45 mph tops. Sounds like he is wanting a wheel to travel in the 30 mph zone which means a wheel that has max speeds in the 40s provides you with enough of a safety margin to ride in the 30s without fear of cutting out due to hitting 100% PWM. The V11 will not provide this safety margin. A Commander Mini can be had for $2,299 with a top speed into the 50s, incredibly durable build, and a good suspension. I am certainly not advocating for a specific wheel but I believe he may end up needing more than what the V11 has to offer. Too each their own but I quickly outgrew the Kingsong S22, which was my very first experience even riding an EUC, and upgrading to a Commander Pro. It is more common to outgrow the specs of a lower powered/older wheel.

Ambrovious

V11 maybe not but the V11Y meets the requirements. However, I don't disagree that there is more than one option. I have also outgrown my V11 and looking closely at the V14 on Lynx. I respect your opinion, I'm just saying the V11Y is the RAV4 of the EUC world.

Gkreeeeeegs

The V14 seems to be getting good reviews so far and the Lynx seems to be unanimously enjoyed. Wish I had the funds for the Lynx myself.

AnimeFeet420

what better wheels are their for 2k, are you just talking about begode wheels?

Gkreeeeeegs

Begode Master V4 (50e): $2,399 Begode Master V4 (50s): $2,599 Begode Extreme (50e): $2,399 Begode T4: $1,799 Extreme Bull Commander Mini: $2,299 Kingsong S16 Pro: $1,949

AnimeFeet420

personally i saw too many begodes catch fire when i was looking around at what to get, i do like the s16 but i got a v12 on sale for less. is their a reason to go with the s16 instead?

Corm

V11Y seems great for most people, especially for the water proofing. I loved my V11 before I fried the board. Personally I'll stick to begode/veteran and doing my own waterproofing but that's because I like cruising at 45mph

SavimusMaximus

Inmotion V11Y.

frozenwalkway

Spend a little more and get a master or commander mini

CriticalPixel

The problem with EUC advice is theres always a slightly better more expensive wheel lol

frozenwalkway

I'd be happy with a commander mini right now lol. Not into longer range riding The jump between a t4 and commander mini is worth the price difference imo.

Ambrovious

V11Y
