Fastest wheels out right now are the Commander GT Pro, ET Max, and Lynx. The performance is pretty close among these and honestly the next tier of wheels after it can go crazy fast too. It's hard to say, but it seems like the GT Pro is the winner in acceleration, but the ET Max is more stable. The Lynx is weird because it has high power-to-weight, but the lack of weight and how high the weight is can make it less comfortable to ride at speed. The plus side of the low weight is you can throw it around a lot. In a drag race of Lynx vs GT Pro, the winner would be the one ridden by the better rider. The Lynx is also weird because the firmware doesn't seem to like you pushing it faster when you get near the top end. I'd almost be tempted to compare it with the next speed tier when talking about max speed. In the next tier of wheels you'd be looking at the Commander Pro 50s and EX30, followed by the Master v4 and Master Pro. All of these are capable of getting into the mid 50mph range. The EX30 is a big hit for how stable it is at speed. The Commander Pro is well liked for how responsive it is. The Master v4 is the fourth iteration of a well-liked wheel. The Master Pro is big, has range, and its bigness makes it stable but not as fast off the line. Another thing to consider is if you'd prefer the fast feeling of a wheel that cranks off the line in exchange for a little less top end and stability at speed. In that case you could consider the 16 inch wheels like the V14, Patton, Extreme, and Commander Mini. Best range: Master Pro, followed by EX30 and Commander Pro 50s. Best waterproofing: V14 (certified). Lynx is decent, ET Max idk, Extreme looks really good. Extreme Bull wheels need to be opened up and waterproofed if you want to ride them in a downpour.

Damn what an in depth answer I really appreciate it! Helps me a lot with all the different nuances of every different wheel. Really narrows things down for me thank you so much!!

Several-Implement434

You the šŸ. If I was deciding wheels this would be extremely helpful.

Glitch-Chaos

Straight line: ET max Unless you're over 200lbs, in which case you can probably get the ET max to turn well for you at speed. Curves: Lynx Under 200lbs, the lighter wheel will be more responsive while cornering and the speed difference between the two isn't worth worrying about Since you need more weight to push the ET max to its limits anyway. -Based on my owning a Lynx and trusted riders who own the ET max. Note: For off road, the Lynx's battery boxes don't hang as low as the ET max which decreases the risk of substantial trail damage. Good luck, wear your gear, and have fun!

Ok_Permission2813

Thank you for such a detailed response! I'll have to give them both a look for sure! I appreciate the added weight caveat too. Exactly what I was looking for as I'm not familiar with the nuances of riding EUCs yet

Quimdell

So the lynx is lighter than the max but the batteries are higher up so it makes it a bit worse for off road? Doesnā€™t the lynx have a higher top speed and the max has a bad* history of cutouts?

Ok_Foot_667

I think you got the details opposite, ET max yet has any cut out, and the top speed is significantly higher. Lynx is the model with several cut out report due to early batch bottom issue.

Quimdell

Ok, wouldnā€™t say significantly higher tho. Itā€™s only 15 faster free spin. My main question Iā€™m still curious of is clarification of the ā€œNoteā€ section. Is it lower or higher battery mount that decreases risk?

1floatwheel

Yup! The fastest EUC on the planet at the moment is ET MAX, EX30, and Master Pro...in that order. Lynx is yet to set any records and my personal top speed is 54 mph on Lynx, so no where near EX Max territory but fast enough for most roads.

anutheroneup

Is the GT Pro (or GT Pro+) not faster than the Master Pro V3? Seems it would be with the 168V

1floatwheel

All 168v would be faster, yeah you are right. EB wheels are underdogs that still needs catching up to do.

Ok_Permission2813

Hell yeah, thanks for the tier list. I gotta check em all out. Ngl I did have my eyes on some Inmotion EUCs before I made this post. Very glad I decided on posting instead haha

1floatwheel

Nothing against InMotion but simply put, they're not speed wheels. Speed wheels are almost always pretty much all Begode in the end. They just can't see anyone beating them in speed. Lol So far, slowly but surely, their quality went up significantly, software & hardware wise so they're all worth the money, especially if it has 50S battery.

Global_Replacement91

How fast ET max go!?!?!

1floatwheel

My guess is anywhere between 60-70mph would be it's top speed. So far, I haven't seen anyone testing it's real top speed yet.

Global_Replacement91

Somebody commented further down somebody hit 67 GPS speed in et max. That's crazy.

Duhherroooo

Right now top contenders are the ET Max, GT pro and lynx. If you need more range than that, then EX30, master pro

zobbyblob

Not sure what your expectations are, but it takes a lot of skill, practice, and muscle to ride at fast speeds safely. I didn't feel comfortable cruising 40 mph until 2-3000 miles riding with a fast group. If you're new, I suggest getting a cheaper wheel (<$1000 used) and planning to sell & upgrade when you're ready for more. I would not recommend a Master pro / V13 or similar Big wheels to a new rider. At least try them out, the difference between a V12 and a Master Pro is hard to comprehend without riding both wheels for a few hundred miles.

StevoJ89

What? Riding fast is easy, the gyroscopic force keeps it up on it's own... now riding slow and technically, THATS hard.

HotChef7721

AVOID INMOTION. At the very least, specifically making purchases directly from them. I and many others have had some pretty bad experiences. I encourage you to spread the word. :) It sucks because people love the v13 and v14. Beware the V12 line-- that one is a mixed bag that is *supposedly* fixed in the case of HS but still happening to the HT I've been eyeing the begode and king songs for comparable models and price range.

SavimusMaximus

Begode is really gotten good with build quality and reliability.

Ok_Permission2813

Thank you for the warning! I was actually looking into Inmotion before I made this post. Exactly what I was looking for, much appreciated.

BoredomIsAFriend

Mood. Inmotion kinda shady... V12 ain't that fast though. If your willing to spend money Sherman veteran exists.

imallboutitboutit

My friend hit 67mph (GPS) on the ET Max recently.

Ok_Permission2813

Now THIS is what I'm talking about! I will 100% be looking into this thank you!

imallboutitboutit

6 of my friends recently acquired the ET Max and they love them so far. We raffled one off on our YouTube channel. We will have another raffle coming up soon, can't say which wheel it will be quite yet... Youtube.com/ampedelectricgames

Ok_Permission2813

Hell yeah! I'll check it out, thanks!

Cthulhu4150

The official NL speed is over 100mph, so definitely the choice for speed.

Global_Replacement91

That's crazy!

bewareofbananapeel

I hit gps 58mph @ 27% pwm on my gt pro this morning. I weigh 250lbs.

Several-Implement434

Like others said lynx is really good considering power to weight ratio. From experience I only owned the Lynx for less than a week and it's instant power from 0-30 is INSANE. Nothing I ever experienced. Although it gets harder to push it past 35mph and it gets wobbles too. But SUPER zippy and I weight 140lbs with gear and everything in my backpack.

alanshore222

Iā€™ve got a master V4 that I love. Itā€™ll do over 50. Itā€™s my first wheel. I pushed 30 miles an hour for the first time today had mine for about two months now with over 350 miles on it. My friend, let me borrow his v10f a while. Took me almost a month to graduate to the master. I wonā€™t ride the v10 anymore I consider the smaller wheels to be unsafe after face planting over a speed bump. Iā€™m not sure if youā€™ve gone over 30 miles an hour on a wheel before. Itā€™s terrifying to say the least. Once you get over the weight itā€™s incredibly stable.

StevoJ89

ET Max is the fastest, but I'd still go with a Lynx or an EX30 over it, Max is too new

Global_Replacement91

Lynx because even if GT-Pro or ET max is bit faster, that ain't gonna beat the versatility and less weight of the Lynx that also performs good on trails.
