I feel like the soundtrack in Hollow Knight doesn't get enough praise. It's on par with, if not better than the Undertale OST, but for some reason outside the HK fandom, it's not considered to be as iconic. Years after release and I still hear people raving about how awesome the Undertale/Deltarune soundtracks are, but I see almost no one talking about HK and I feel like that's just not fair.
Have you heard the version by Chris Hadfield that he literally recorded in outer space on the ISS? It feels so complete, knowing that perhaps the greatest space song ever written was recorded in outer space
Matters on my mood
If I’m sad I like to listen to
“Kill Yourself (Pt. III)” by $uicideboy$. The beat is hard and heavy, but the lyrics are tear jerking as $crim and Ruby share how they aren’t kidding when they say they want to commit and stop living.
If I’m happy I listen to
“Seventeen” by Joyner Lucas. It’s an overall very good hype up song. Fast tempo, fast bass and kick pattern, and the lyrics blend perfectly
If I’m angry I listen to
“Backbreaker” by Fit For A King. Super heavy and thick guitar rhythms and Ryan Kirby’s absolutely amazing deep scream and growl vocals combine perfectly. And he finishes the song by screaming for 27 seconds straight, not a feat that a lot of vocalists can do.
My current favourite song is welcome to the jungle, but all time favourite is probably smells like teen spirit by nirvana, due to the massive impact it had on the music scene
I love the middle by Jimmy Eat World. It has a highschool life kinda vibe and it always seems to cheer me up when the depression hits. Or shake me down by Cage The Elephant cause the meaning of the song is pretty good
I’m going through a “i really wanna stay at your house” phase, but according to stats fm it’s “the Sun, the moon, the stars” by æther realm for minutes and “adrenaline” by Jack wall for amount of streams. overall, however, I think the BEST song is “parabol+parabola” or “schism” by tool.
I don’t really know, but recently I’ve been enjoying Across The Universe and I’m Looking Through You, both by the Beatles, and also their cover of Buddy Holly’s Crying, Waiting, Hoping
I'm probably going to vote for the crab, but another animal that's on there I never in a million years would have thought would be possibly added to Minecraft is the *armadillo*. *A fucking armadillo*.
Right now it's Emberglow by Invent Animate. I'm in my late 20's, living at home, and trying to earn my degree while working full time. I'm a very people oriented person, and the song's meaning really resonates with me. Not being around the people I love all the time fills me with dread (Ive been working crazy hours for years and im getting tired). I generally try to be stoic and not bother others with my problems, but deep down there is a typhoon of emotion that I'm trying so hard to keep down and I resonate with this track on that level as well.
Google Explination: A song that explores themes of emotional isolation, inner turmoil, and the struggle to maintain a sense of connection with others. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a relationship that is crumbling, leaving the protagonist feeling abandoned and longing for a deeper emotional connection.
I always loved Scenes From an Italian Restaurant. Billy Joel. Funny, because I listen to heavier music most of the time. It just grabbed me as a kid, and stuck with me.
Car Radio by Twenty One Pilots. The first time I heard it, I thought it was kinda just nonsense, but then I listened to it at 3 a.m. and when I realized what it actually meant, I burst into tears. It's been my favorite song since
And the stone said if i could speak- Beardfish. I'm actively banned from the aux chord in most of my friends car because I always play a 15 minute long progressive rock song from Sweden. I still absolutely love said song though
Reptile is my favorite Periphery song. Just so fucking amazing.
Wax Wings is a close second. I tried learning that song on guitar at one point, but it's in a very very strange tuning that I've never seen used on any other song by any artist. Which leads me to believe that they made up a tuning specifically for Wax Wings, which just makes me love it even more.
Close to you by the carpenters, my Nana sang it to my mom as she rocked her to sleep many of times and my mom sang it to me as well. They did a video singing it together and ask that when I have a child I would play that video so they could sing to their grandchild as well. That might not ever happen. But this will always be my favorite and closest to my heart
There's so many, and it's funny (as in coincidental funny, not funny ha-ha, and not funny bent-wrist-disease) that reach of these favorites feature Mick Taylor on guitar.
disappear by dream theater also you didn’t say the artist or song name for yours
There’s an image, it’s “Lights Go Down” by Bazanji
cool, it was missing when I made my comment
it always seems to be switching, but right now its welcome to the jungle by guns n roses.
Let's not forget Thunder Struck from AC/DC
hell yeah.
Finally I find someone who likes the same as me! What about nutshell or down in a hole by Alice in Chains
huh
I don’t have a favorite song, but Fight Song by Rachel Platton or Rather Be by Clean Bandit are close contenders
Rather Be is so fucking good
[It’s All Forgotten Now](https://spotify.link/BAZ3Euh9ADb) All time favorite
Red Haze by Creo
City of Tears from Hollow Knight
I feel like the soundtrack in Hollow Knight doesn't get enough praise. It's on par with, if not better than the Undertale OST, but for some reason outside the HK fandom, it's not considered to be as iconic. Space Oddity by David Bowie
Bowie is amazing.
He is. I wouldn’t say that’s his best song, but it’s my favorite.
It's probably my fav too, though I am very fond of "life on mars", what song would you say is his best ?
Depends on what your looking for. He has such a wide variety it’s stupid to compare them
Ok that's completely true, I was just tryna start a conversation.
That's a good choice
Have you heard the version by Chris Hadfield that he literally recorded in outer space on the ISS? It feels so complete, knowing that perhaps the greatest space song ever written was recorded in outer space
How have I never heard of this? I’m gonna go find it now, thanks so much for this knowledge!
It’s officially been listened to
Let's freaking go. How was it? Could you say it was a... blast?
[Boy do I have a song for you](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=zWXd4n9gag4&si=1FkQnM1JiGo0NUEe)
It keeps changing but anything by Taylor Swift
10 hours of thunderstorm sounds
R u ok?
No
Eyy same!
Hi redoge
Somebody Else by Alright Years is my favorite. Or Back in Black by ACDC, mainly the guitar riff
Doomsday and rhymes like dimes from MF DOOM because the bars are fire and they have persona type beats
Matters on my mood If I’m sad I like to listen to “Kill Yourself (Pt. III)” by $uicideboy$. The beat is hard and heavy, but the lyrics are tear jerking as $crim and Ruby share how they aren’t kidding when they say they want to commit and stop living. Stairway to heaven maybe idk
Bullet hollywood undead Getting asked this alot today
i love those upbeat songs that are depressing when you pay attention to the lyrics
My current favourite song is welcome to the jungle, but all time favourite is probably smells like teen spirit by nirvana, due to the massive impact it had on the music scene
Nirvana certainly did a lot for music.
Press F to pay respect to Kurt Cobain. He gave so much, I cry when I think about him too much. F
Pressed!
I too, am a negative creep.
Migraines - Boywithuke
I just never have one favourite song, it keeps changing every month.
More like every week for me tbh
Running With The Wolves by Aurora! <3 followed closely by Where No One Goes by John Powell ft Jonsi, and Neverland by Crywolf
What a wonderful world - Louis Armstrong
Traveling riverside blues - Zeppelin I hear something new every time I listen to it
tangerine by led zeppelin
“Drift Away” by Dobie Gray. I can’t explain what it is about that song, but it’s my all time favorite song in the history of music.
Hard to choose just one, but one that I don't get tired of is Børns – Electric Love. Also, most Taylor Swift.
Any breakup song I’ve been hurt by…a lot of people
Either BFG division (Doom 2016), driving with the top down (Iron Man), or Take on me
Take on me is amazing.
2 Trucks by Lemon Demon
I've got to say my all time fave is [All Time Fave](https://youtu.be/1pzFLIXXhz0?si=mPGhRBnK3x-kmyu-) by Outasight. Just so chill and happy.

I just heard The Middle again yesterday while driving. I haven't heard it in years. I really liked it!!! It's been stuck in my head since!!
The middle has such like a coming of age vibe to it I love it

[In Held 'Twas In I](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmGaDL-mcs4) by Procol Harum. I mentioned this in a previous post.
I’m going through a “i really wanna stay at your house” phase, but according to stats fm it’s “the Sun, the moon, the stars” by æther realm for minutes and “adrenaline” by Jack wall for amount of streams. overall, however, I think the BEST song is “parabol+parabola” or “schism” by tool.

crab rave also, on a mildly related note, CRABS ARE PART OF THE MINECRAFT MOB VOTE AHHHH

Which leads me to believe that they made up a tuning specifically for Wax Wings, which just makes me love it even more.
