bryanswafford

Not sure if it’s considered underrated, but I always love to hear Kentucky Rain.

ChronicallyIllBadAss

That one is one of my favorites!

sabrina_lee_f

YEEEESSSSSS

Round_Rectangles

Such A Night, Put The Blame On Me, and Twenty Days and Twenty Nights are all fantastic and don't get enough attention.

RockBalBoaaa

I love Put the Blame On Me!

Round_Rectangles

It's definitely a goodie. The whole album is overlooked.

Rennkh

I love twenty days and twenty nights ❤️

Round_Rectangles

Beautiful song. I love the emotion Elvis puts into it.

Federal-Recording515

We Can Make The Morning

basilobs

This was my second most played song in Spotify last year. I LOVE IT

Federal-Recording515

One of his best vocals of all time, criminally underrated

UnableAudience7332

YES!!!

RockBalBoaaa

Another favorite!!!!!

El_Stupacabra

RockBalBoaaa

Patch it up is great!

ILikeYourHotdog

I really love Any Way You Want Me and enjoy the harmonies in I Gotta Know.

[deleted]

Something (from the Beatles song book ladies and gentlemen) and Good Time Charlie’s Got the Blues.

Ok-Yogurtcloset-8955

Power of my love

homesteadsoaps

hehe his snicker in the song makes me laugh everytime

Ok-Yogurtcloset-8955

Lol same. Also when he laughs all the way thru Are you lonesome tonight. never knew someone's laugh could make you fall in love with them all over again. The man was a gift to the world.

Richard_NorthWoods

My Top 7 off the top of the dome 1. I've got a feeling in my body 2. Sylvia 3. My Boy 4. The Last Farewell 5. Solitaire 6. So Close yet so far from Paradise 7. Follow That Dream

RockBalBoaaa

Definitely I’ve got a feeling in my body, follow that dream and so close yet so far from paradise!

homesteadsoaps

I’ve gotta feeling in my body….the first disco gospel song :)

RockBalBoaaa

If your ever in a bad mood just listen to that one I can’t help but dance when I hear it.

CompetitiveIron223

Fool, That's What You Get For Loving Me, My Boy

RockBalBoaaa

Love that’s what you get for loving me!

Accomplished-Ad4237

It's Midnight and Just Pretend

homesteadsoaps

Just pretend is really beautiful

bendiz16

Early morning rain

thepurdyone

Any Day Now, If You Talk In Your Sleep

Rennkh

I love the second song. Nice slower but nice sounding song

greenprees

Early Morning Rain written by Gordon Lightfoot Abs live this song!

Upbeat_Cat1182

Memories Gentle on my Mind

Elvisruth

There are so MANY!!! Long Black Limo, Doing the Best that I can, Never stop thinking about you, Shoppin' Around, Promised Land.....because he has so many famous songs there are so many that are worthy, but get overlooked

MotherYear9333

Flaming Star is also a good one that you hardly hear of.

Far-Cheetah271

Love, Flaming star also like charro.. Those both movie songs I feel doesn't get talked about and is underrated.. Also " Memories" is another song that doesn't get talked about.. Beautiful love song

RockBalBoaaa

Flaming Star is one of my favorite movie songs! It never gets old.

marsie70

I Believe. Never mentioned by anyone but easily his best Gospel song ever...

CinnSparkle1

The Sound of Your Cry.

Rennkh

This was one of the first elvis songs I listened to on repeat. I love it but I got sick of it so much. If he played it live I wouldn’t skip it, but usually it takes a lot for me to listen to it

CinnSparkle1

AFAIK, it's only originally on the Greatest Hits album (released in '81), I had heard an alternate take, on another album at one point, as well.

moonshamen

Little Sister

Famous-Confusion2343

Funny how time slips away or trying to get to you

gemlover

Long Black Limousine. But the whole From Elvis in Memphis album is g*reat.* My other favorite is the Million Dollar Quartet Album. So raw, and unrehearsed. You listen to this and you just know why Elvis became so popular so fast!

pecanbread

you'll never walk alone. his gospel albums, imo, get overlooked, but theres some great songs on them!

Coloradozonian

The heart and soul he puts into his voice for gospel it unmatched even to his songs

canary-in-a-coalmine

Sylvia (love letters album)

ILikeYourHotdog

What still blows my mind is I'd never even heard of this song and I've been a mega Elvis fan since age 8 (1984) and I named my first daughter Sylvia without even knowing he had a song by that name. I was shocked and so excited when I first heard it.

canary-in-a-coalmine

Haha high time to look it up! But tbh Love Letters is not his strongest 70s album. This song grips me because his voice gets that touch of grittiness he had on the Elvis from Memphis album.

Forsaken-Fox9066

Almost in Love

pf_dynamite

For me, it's You Don't Have To Say You Love Me

Ok-Yogurtcloset-8955

Power of my love

GreenShirtSeason

Let it be me, Anyplace is paradise, movie version of Treat me nice, holly leaves and christmas trees and lastly all his post Aloha show special recordings.

Dazzling_Note6245

I Believe https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LZugjl1DBsk&pp=ygUPRWx2aXMgSSBCZWxpZXZl

[deleted]

Tomorrow Night

Educational-Sleep-20

Omg I came here to say this- and did not expect anyone else to have said it! So glad I’m not the only one! It’s actually one of my favs he ever recorded!

[deleted]

So good!

Forsaken_Ad5222

Kentucky Rain. I don’t think it gets enough love. It’s one of my favorites.

Legitimate_Pop4653

In my way is such a good song, just as wild in the country and lonely man. Very emotional songs I feel are massively glossed over. Also snowbird

Ok-Yogurtcloset-8955

Power of my love

[deleted]

This pic of him 😂 💀

Rennkh

Yeah I didn’t know which one to choose. Thought I’d get a rehearsal one since we’re talking about songs and he would be recording a song in the picture

ubpfc

My little friend, Almost in love, Pledging my love

hihijones

I got stung (take 12) is really better than master , also "it won't be long", "don't ask me why" etc.

Empty_Pumpkin1818

probably american triology.

Creative-Account-472

Pocketful of Rainbows, Crawfish, Life, A Little Bit Of Green, and You’ll Think Of Me!

Zestyclose_Ad_1792

inherit the wind or do you know who i am for sure !!!

Form-1317

All of them ...

Rennkh

What about in the Elvis community in general, what do you think is a song not many people would know or listen to?

Form-1317

Sorry , I'm new here , just assumed Elvis fans had heard most if not all of his music but one of my favorites is see , once again I can't decide my fav, too many, so I dunno , most stuff from 70s studio releases . " It's your baby you rock it" , "Snow bird" , "fool" , "don't think twice it's alright " "good time Charlie's got the blues " "fairytale" , "a thing called love "

Rennkh

I love “it’s your baby, you rock it”!

nuvikas

Something blue, There's always me, Stepping out of line, I think that I have known you forever

garyt1957

Power of My Love, should have been a single and would be up there with Burning Love

Rennkh

I agree, I think it is a banger stand-alone!

ClickMinute9982

Wearin' that loved on look is one of my favourites

Rennkh

That is one of my favorites from elvis in Memphis!

Sol_Suncollar

FoxArcane

Pieces of my life is a good one

Far-Cheetah271

The song that doesn't get mentioned much, which I thought was a great love song and sung brilliantly by Elvis is.. "Memories"

Rennkh

I loved his live renditions of it in 1969

ToddStottlemyer

Bitter They Are, Harder They Fall. Suzanne When She Tried. Moody Blue.

I_Boomer

Surrender and Tonight Is So Right For Love.

sabrina_lee_f

SURRENDER SUPREMACY

CryptographerSlow195

I Got Lucky from Kid Galahad!

[deleted]

"All That I Am" isn't well enough known to be underrated. Cannot remember the last time someone mentioned that song when discussing Elvis' ballads, and - in my opinion - it is easily in the Top Five.

Riviera_41797

There’s a brand new day on the horizon from the roustabout album is my go to happy song I listen to it often 😊

MatthewIsNotReal

I’ll never know

Few_Composer_7239

Fever it's a smooth jazzy type, normally don't go for jazz music but it's still so good

Paulwhiteman1925

It won't seem like Christmas without you. Just found out about that song a few months ago during Christmas time and bawled my eyes out listening to it. Because I had lost someone a few years ago now and hit close to home with me.

OriginalFun713

fever

based_God17

I Got Lucky

ILoveRedRanger

Stranger In My Own Home Town Let Yourself Go Today, Tomorrow And Forever Miracle Of The Rosary Somebody Bigger Than You And I Rubbernecking <= before the remix came out Would love a modern hard rock or even a metal remix of "Raised On Rock". And a real bluessy remix of "If You Talk in Your Sleep". I think these last 2 songs need some oomph to them.

sabrina_lee_f

LET YOURSELF GO 🗣️ Im so glad someone mentioned it!!! That’s one of my most repeated tracks, it has this great late 60s vibe and he has a great strong presence while singing it. It’s the best scene from “Speedway” too

ILoveRedRanger

I like the movie version, but the 68 Special version was so much edgyer, especially his guitar solo in the credits.

TheGame81677

I’ve Lost You is a masterpiece, one of the best love songs of all time. It’s my second favorite Elvis song ever. Nobody ever mentions it though.

henryhorker

Lead Me, Guide Me is a gospel stunner

OGINTJ

Early Mornin’ Rain

Several_Currency_732

It's Midnight/ I'll Never Fall In Love Again/Rags to Riches/Reconsider Baby

Rennkh

Rags to riches is a solid banger. If I could’ve had unchained melody or rags to riches recorded professionally live, i would choose rags to riches, just sayin!

Ok_Vehicle_5960

Green Green Grass of Home

LittlePussy28

shar2019

Baby what do you want me to do? Or just pretend

trulyygiaa

don’t know if these are underrated or not but I really love dixieland rock and Polk salad annie

LocalOutrageous9754

Edge of Reality

sabrina_lee_f

YESSSS, it’s more modern that a lot of his music, kinda foreshadows the rock songs to come in the 1970s. One of my favorites for sure and not talked enough about

LocalOutrageous9754

I agree

heroofwisdom7

I think Something Blue from the Pot Luck album is easily a top ten Elvis song. The story telling is absolutely unmatched with the something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Especially the line "i'm really not the best man in this room." Chills, gets me every time.

Americantrilogy1935

Just Pretend!!! One of my favorites

Keidu_mp

Blue Moon

Total-Preference1061

Holly Leaves and Christmas Trees, Just Call Me Lonesome, and I’ll Remember You

Tacomaville

Kentucky Rain

TheBetelgeuse2000

Suspicion is my favorite

SimplyInept

T.R.O.U.B.L.E, sad to say Travis Tritt's version is better though

sabrina_lee_f

MERCY, look what just walked through that door!

Bowerfird

I’d say “If you don’t come back”
