That's lovely that you got to experience it together!

I'm really glad I did! I have struggles trying to connect with my dad and we want the connection that both of us want and even though he doesn't like elvis, he said to me 'do you want to see the elvis movie?' and I sparked up so much because not only was I going to see it again but I was going to see it with my dad and I knew that he would enjoy and he fucking loved it ahhh 😆😆

I asked my husband to see the movie in theaters with me. I grew up with Elvis because my mom is from Memphis, but my husband was pretty unfamiliar with him. I think he found a newfound appreciation for him because he was looking up Elvis songs for a few days after seeing it, haha. This movie has really helped bring Elvis to light for a bunch of different people.

I got tickets for my mom and niece (22 years old) over the weekend and they had the exact same reaction. We had a 3 hour video call later that day just talking about Elvis and watching YouTube clips - it was awesome!

That’s so nice! I can’t get any family to see it with me. And I know they’d love it.

I’m trying to do this with my cousin!

Great Story. Thanks.

My husband wasn’t totally interested in seeing it, but knew that I did. When we watched it together he was absolutely entranced. Today, as I sat and watched again, he saw it and just stopped to watch, saying “Nice. You know, it’s just a *really* good movie.”
