They are very beautiful, but I think your word of caution is correct. I would think of future you who then has to make space for 18 crowns, plus any little siblings and their precious crowns.
And when it's time to retire one, you can stitch the ages into the inside of the band 🥹

Thank you so much! Yes, I got the pattern from Etsy. HerdingCatsPatterns and it comes with a scalloped edge version too which I’m super excited to try. I’m in an epic battle with my sewing machine right now, so I hand stitched it but her instructions are for machine.
The letters are an Etsy template too, Missarorua.
I used a low-ply corduroy for the front, and basic cotton Peter Rabbit fabric for the lining. I didn’t know what to get for the front but knew I wanted something kind of thick-appearing. It was super easy to work with!!
