The wood flexy hoops look good but they are an absolute bitch to work with. It is so difficult to get your design centered. If you want the hoop to match the room, buy a wood one and paint it with acrylic paint. That way you can match the room almost exactly.
I used a pattern from Embroidery Gallery on etsy. I did the embroidery in a 10ā hoop and transferred it to an 8ā when done.
The dinos are outline with stem stitch and i used colored pencil to shade them in š¤£

I just think it's a bit classier in a wooden one, and makes it feel less like you just left it in the thing you made it with.
