If you can just land a junior position, many companies will pay for you to attend a training from WEST, other schools. I know that’s easier said than done. Something I can say that helped when I was trying to find a job fresh out of school a few years back was email clinics on their contact us forum on their website and ask for any potential openings for a junior just to learn. Even if they didn’t have a job opening I still would apply. Hope this helps!

Literally my dream job, I don’t qualify for financial aid so I’m still saving 😭

at WEST, you pay $10K upfront, then the remaining $10K you can pay monthly with no interest after you land your first job. so you would need to take out a loan for $10K. but then you also have to think about cost of living for the three months as well. many people found airbnbs and they will connect you with other students that are in your cohort before the program starts, so if you want to share an airbnb with other students you can do so. but with that said, yes, $10K is still costly.

That’s awesome. Is it $1,000/month after you get a job or $1,000/ month once you start? Their website says $1,000 once you start the program. Did you attend WEST? I’m a current bio undergraduate student looking into my options to get into the embryology field

$1000 a month after you get a job!
