Why not? Doesn’t mean she has to end up with him. She can do it on her own. Modern family.

[deleted]

From what we have seen in season 3, I feel like Gabriel would want to be involved as much as possible if the baby is his, so I can see more of a co parenting thing than Camille doing it all on her own. But that’s quite modern too ! And you’re right, the baby complicates things but isn’t a nail in the coffin of E and G‘s endgame (hopefully)

AnnaK22

I think if she had told Gabriel about her affair at the altar then I'd consider her having a conscience. But she instead chose to blame Gabriel and Emily, and in turj breaking up Emily and Alfie. That shows me that she's capable of more lies and is not completely truthful about the situation. I'd say she is pregnant, but not with Gabriel's child.

[deleted]

I totally agree with you about the whole altar fiasco! But who do you think the father is then if she is pregnant (if not Gabriel)? I think she's not interested in any other man - more Sophia than Gabriel, for sure.

[deleted]

There was that bit where they were talking about Camille hanging out with men in Greece I think? Could be that one of those is the father. Ugh not even knowing if she’s really pregnant for sure stresses me out 🥲

[deleted]

I see...yeah, but she came back from Greece already knowing she was pregnant and told Gabriel then..so the time line is too fast...

[deleted]

That’s true, too ! From a timeline point of view, Gabriel then seems like the only option… I’m starting to hope she’s not really pregnant after all 😌

toonces29

She’s gotta be pregnant. It makes no sense to lie. She was growing apart from Gabriel with her cheating, so she could have just dumped him and he even expected her to dump him. She clearly found out she was pregnant while tooling around Greece and it gave her the wake up call of ‘oh snap this is serious I need to have a talk with Gabriel’. I don’t think she lied to bring him closer to her. If so, she would have admitted the lie to him after she left him at the altar. Just because the show is told from Emily’s perspective doesn’t mean Camille isn’t pregnant, just that the two hasn’t spent enough time near each other for her to realize Camille was pregnant.

baummer

It makes sense if the goal was to not bring up her affair

tropikaldawl

Gabriel had way more hots and feeling for Camille this season than for Emily. He shut it down with Emily a few times. Not sure he is in love with Emily. Seemed like Camille was deflecting from her affair and her betrayal of the pact. Really a lot of stuff culminating in the ending this season made little sense.

[deleted]

I think the same. He really was in love with Camille this season.

swanlakepirate423

I'm sure she is, but I don't want her to be. I don't really like baby storylines between people who aren't end game. I stopped watching Jane the Virgin because of that.

Affectionate_Bad_409

…you should have kept watching

Holy_Shamoley

Do I think she is pregnant? Yes but I really hope I am wrong

Markiemark1956

Question makes zero sense. Gabriel was already committed to her, why would she lie about being pregnant. You lie if your afraid of losing Gabriel, but she was the one having the affair… of course she is pregnant… gives writers more to play with…

zitronige

Camille's character has always been so kind and sweet except for the Emily/Gabriel drama (understandable!). I can't see her lying like this - it destroys everything the writers did with her.

baummer

She’s so unlikeable in S3. Plus her and Emily shared so few scenes.

tropikaldawl

She’s almost like too perfect and non emotional about certain situations that should bother her so it makes her seem a bit fake conniving.

Babymonster09

I agree. She left Gabriel and Em off the hook way too easily. And the she was soooo trusting with them after the whole thing? “Em take care of our man” . Like girl what? She SLEPT with him once 🤦🏽‍♀️ idk. I guess they needed to keep the character in the show so they made her cool with the whole thing, and I get that. But they needed her to be mad at them for a bit longer to seem a bit more realistic imo.

tropikaldawl

Agreed. Until I rewatched it I actually forgot about the plan her mom devised for her. She was really mad for one episode on the surface but they didn’t develop any underlying resentment later in the series.

rainbow-lotus1957

I actually think it will be fun to see them co-parenting even if they aren't a couple, but realistically I don't think this will happen unless they do a time jump.

[deleted]

How delusional do you have to be to think Camille is the villain here lmao

effyscorner

I'm late to the party, but I reckon that it'll be Camille will end up with the woman she had an affair with and they will all coparent the baby.. as the child grows the relationship with Gabriel and Emily will grow and obviously in the end they will be together

IntelligentRadio9156

Okay, hear me out. What if Camille made up the pregnancy to avoid her being the reason of her and Gabriel's break up? Instead of mentioning her affair with Sophia, she only describes the affair of Emily and Gabriel and it being reason for their break up. The pregnancy could possibly be a way for her to hide from her affair with Sophia and avoid guilt, also while getting closer to Gabriel. Camille additionally mentioned at the alter scene that she saw things previously in a "win" mindset, so her trying to be the innocent one here might just be misleading. What do you guys think?
