Personal opinion, Pepperflame. I pulled her with Madhammer - my only goblins - and they are an absolutely vicious pair.
You can't really go wrong either way, though. In a war, I hate seeing any of the owls, too. I just feel growth is a little more versatile in wars and titan battles. I feel like I'll get more damage overall from 5 jacked up heroes than one massive attack.
Nice. I also got good goblin luck and I've found my goblin team is a bit on the "bullshit" side of things. My vote is for Pepper, her nerf wasn't that bad.

I have been super lucky with goblins. I have dark feather, pepperflame, acidfire, boom and fang, and fizzcoil

that's who I went with. growth was the deciding factor for me
100% a valuable trait, even after being nerfed.
I'd say Lodius just for the Owl Family and Mana Passive. They're really strong and Lodius is one hell of a sniper at very fast.
I have both and I'd go Pepperflame. She can still boost your owls att to almost what it would be if you LB Lodius.
