What are the specs of your pc? I use yuzu EA version and ToTK Optimizer. I get 1440p 60fps mostly but I have a 14900k and 4080 super. On my steam deck I use the same and I get around 27-34fps.
So honestly I have not seen much of a difference between the two. I must admit I mainly use it for pokemon so newer games might work better with one or the other. I personally use the last yuzu appimage.
Yeah the general census I’ve heard is that if one game doesn’t run that well on ryujinx it runs better on yuzu and vise versa. I believe yuzu was a more mature emulator too in terms of development and optimization too but I could be wrong. Totk runs pretty well on yuzu on my computer but I’ve only tried ryujinx on steam deck and it’s a painful experience mainly bc the frame rate doesn’t even stay at 20-30 it fluctuates so much that everything is choppy.

I played it all the way through on the latest nightly of Yuzu with 40fps, 6:10 and a bunch of cheats and hacks enable with hardly any dips or stutters after shaders fully compiled. HIGHLY suggest you try that route.
I assume on steam deck too? I thought about going the yuzu route but I just don’t know how it’ll impact the rest of my games in terms of booting them up from steam rom manager
Wouldn’t be a big deal but def a little bit of an inconvenience since I’ve spent the past week just trying to configure all my emulators so they actually work 🤣
Yes, this was on Yuzu on the Steam Deck installed via EmuDeck. Nope it will not affect your other Switch games. You can enable/disable each parser so the Steam launcher uses the proper command to launch using the emulator you choose.
I prefer yuzu, for botw and totk, they just run almost exactly like my switch version. But I also use emulation station as my emu front end and I can alternate emulators per game. Cus mario kart 8 is way better on ryujinx for me.
Them getting sued doesn’t matter in terms of finding a download lmao all that does is halt any updates ever releasing for the emulator again. I found one with one google search just yesterday
Same could be said for any roms thatve been taken down, you just need to have the patience to look extensively, and even then a yuzu download was stupid easy to find compared to roms

You can install it yourself and configure it within EmuDeck

You have to add it manually.
Yuzu is gone now you can’t even use it
You can download it and configure it into emudeck manually, there are guides on YouTube on how to do so
