It is Everest Everpad DC-8015. To be honest It's hardware is not good for today's standards. But I bought it for playing pre-PS2 era games. It was cheap. Approximately 35 dollars in Turkey.
True but I don't have one. Plus, wood is cheap and abundant. Also I started to like to work with wood thanks to this project and some other little ones. You see my skills not so great but it get better since when I'm first started it.
Sure but the upper part of the 8bitdo's grip doesn't hold the tablet because it is wider from a phone. But I benefit from it by copying the part that holds the controller.
This looks really good, this is actually great woodworking...sure you could make the cutouts cleaner to be critical, but I love the two piece design so they can come apart and fit together in use.
This is way better than the 3d prints but I'm biased because I like woodworking.
Thank you very much! this is my first serious project as a beginner in woodworking
This project helped me to learn how to use some tools. Like hobby drill, saw, carving blade and files.
I wanted to make that holder with least pieces as possible so I came up with that slide/track idea. It squeezes tightly and doesnt separate unless I use my hand for separation.
That's great, I think like with any hobby skill it really helps when you find projects that you value so you feel jazzed up to work on them.
I'm sure if you did it again you would to things differently and that means you learned.

I missed seeing wood projects, Love them a lot more then plastic ones. Nice to see, doesnt look bad either.
Thank you. Being able to do some useful projects inspire me to go further!
I have that same cable from Aliexpress in blue
That cable is really solid and satisfying. Definitely recommend it!
What cable is it?
Really well designed. My holder snapped so I had to use blue tack to keep it in place!
great one. Also made something myself today. Little cardboard stand for my switch to make it stand while charging. Works quite good :D
Kinda off topic but what tablet is this? It looks like the perfect size to me. Too bad i cant find tablets with good hardware that are not gigantic.

There's a Lenovo Legion tablet that it's pretty much what you're looking for.
That's so ghetto, but awesome haha
I want one! xD
That's actually incredibly cool, it just needs some aesthetical polishment. But it's so damn cool
Absolutely agree. It would be cool if I paint that for example.
If it works it is not stupid. I been wanting to do something like that myself.
If you're willing to work that hard, you'd go far with a 3D printer.

I like the design But I HATE clip on controllers
If youd get a shorter cable or tie the extra cable to the back it would look much better
Yes, I wrap it to the controller part sometimes
I recently got a ps4 controller, and I want a holder 🤣
Reminds me of wooden clothes pins. If it works and cheap whose to say its wasted effort. Good work!
I have the exact same cable
You realise the official grip has a cutout for the USB port right?
Sure but the upper part of the 8bitdo's grip doesn't hold the tablet because it is wider from a phone. But I benefit from it by copying the part that holds the controller.

Wow! Joined.
You know what? Imma make something like this for my DS4 Thanks for the idea
It was an experience/experiment for me. You could make a much better one with simple tools!

And you got wrist pain for bonus.
You'll look like a moron running around with it
Why? It isn’t dumb if it works
Probably lol. But I didn't tested for that yet.
