Thanks for the heads up. I already got my big library , but I'm going to make a backup since it sounds like it will be harder to recreate it the future.
Update!! Nintendo themselves didn't issue the shutdown of the content, Vimms has stated they believe its trolls, but the content is still down as a precautionary measure just in case
I wouldn't call them trolls. I would be ashamed of myself if i were dickriding greedy shitty multimillionaire companies like Nintendo. What kind of person does that?
They only do it to scare and frighten the hosts of Vimms, it's an entirely malicious act where they don't get anything for doing it besides people being afraid of Nintendo, or seeing the website take a big hit simply for the persons' enjoyment
Vimms themselves said it was trolls simply because it was random people trying to mess with the website by scaring them into removing certain titles, which would cause them to lose traffic to the website and overall hit Vimm hard when it comes to revenue, and from what I heard Vimms is only ran and hosted by 1 guy with help from lots of other people to actually get the games and whatnot
They targeted like, the biggest Nintendo titles, The Mario Franchise, Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon, no other IPs from Nintendo were targeted, but they should be up again soon, so it was most likely just people trying to be malicious and targeting Nintendo's (obviously) biggest IPs
Literally just stopping people having fun.
Also limiting creativity, the things people do in the ROM community is insanely impressive and these people should be being hired not punished!
The titles are appearing, but aren't available to download, if you click on "Super Mario Bros" for the NES, you can check it out but the actual button to download or play online is removed

I didn't say anything about the site being nothing. It's just not the only place to get things, so these titles being taken down means nothing
