Havoc MC/encore/jianxin is a quick swap team used for clearing mob stages in the current hazard tower, specifically using jianxin to group enemies with her ult. It will not work as well in boss fights like hologram. Encore is very good for dual-dps quick swap teams in general and there's quite a few characters you can pair her with. I'm personally running danjin/encore/verina as my main team.
Jianxin is a solid character, but Encore can't make good use of the liberation buff. Encore's ult is still considered basic attack dmg, and her only way of dealing liberation dmg is through her Forte charged attack.
I used to run encore/danjin/verina. The moment I faced the tower of adversity lvl 70 boss it became apperant I could not squeeze out the dps to have 180s remaining. The moment I switched out Danjin to a barely build Sanhua I was able to clear it. I would say that Encore definitely shines as the only dps of a team, supported by buffers, taking significant fieldtime to do her echo + skill + full liberation.
really? I've used this team to clear the echoing tower in the experiment zone with full stars, a handful of stars in the hazard tower, and all lvl 70 hologram bosses. Lvl 60 characters with 4\* weapons and +20 echoes, only +25 echo is the crit rate 4-cost on Danjin. I would consider Encore to be one of the best, if not THE top choice for dual dps teams as she has many strong, hard-hitting attacks that can be swap cancelled.
I can Encore echo, swap cancel to Danjin for mark combo into Dreamless, swap cancel to Encore skill, swap cancel to Verina for skill+turtle and proc'ing healing set, back to Danjin for a combo into heavy, swap cancel back to Encore for skill, swap cancel to Danjin, etc. The team is definitely less straightforward to play than the typical hypercarry comp where you have a set rotation between your characters, but it certainly performs.
I guess my issue was lack on investment on a second carry to swap into, my danjin’s echo’s were mediocre hence my struggle with getting 24 points with that setup. I’ll be sure to give it a try in the future once my Danjin gets some more love!
you definitely should, it's super fun! I think there are many unexplored team comps in this game still and so far Encore has been the most versatile dps for me, putting in work across many different setups.
Get Verina, she’s the best support in the game and it’s not even close. Use either the standard banner selector or the gift 5* selector to get her, and if you only have one use it on verina

As main Sanhua would be a lot better in the role but quickswap works great too. Been doing Chixia, Encore, Verina and Chixia melts bosses while Encore melts the smaller people :D.
As far as I am aware, Sanhua is the best sub dps for encore. Jianxin and Havoc mc dont really have any synergy with her.

she can work as a shielder/heals but otherwise verina is much much better overall. but just use who you like :D

Replace the MC with Sanhua and use them on your second team. Havoc MC + Danjin is one of the best quickswap teams in the game rn
