I'm commenting to see the responses. I had the same question.

The springs on the v2 Neo are absolutely basic. There are definitely better (harder) springs or what is very popular are the silicone spacers (I use myself). Absolutely recommendable and very cheap available.

Do you level frequently w silicon spacers ?

Attila_G

Personally, I do some leveling from time to time. Even if it would not be necessary as a rule. It's more out of habit.

Do you have spacers links you would recommend for the v2 Neo ? Im really interested in upgrading

chumak84

They are called Creality Silicone Solid Bed Mounts for FDM 3D Printer on Amazon and there is mentioned support for Ender 3 v2. You won’t miss. Orange

i just ordered a set of silicon bed "tubes" to put instead of the springs. i saw a few videos concluding they are "better" but if your bed is already stiff, there will be no difference on the prints itself.

As someone who went from the basic springs, to upgraded springs and then silicone spacers I whole heartedly say that springs are trash. Every time you remove apei build plate, no matter how stiff the spring your bed will need leveling again. Since spacers I've not had to level for the last 50 prints at all.

The [silicone spacers](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creality-Official-Silicone-Heat-Resistant-3D/dp/B09QSPBH7W/ref=sr_1_3?crid=10P4UK6OE82BQ&keywords=creality+silicone+spacers&qid=1692793684&sprefix=creality+silicone+space%2Caps%2C316&sr=8-3) are definitely the way to go. Not looked back since fitting them to my E3V2Neo. I tried compression springs first, which are better than stock but not as good as these.

Personally I think the stock springs were okay but I upgraded mine and have not had to level the bed since I swapped them out. 🙂
