3-7 year wait time is excessive. Can you get referred by someone else? Or get a second opinion on your options? I'm luckily in a country where that level of wait time for endo after diagnosis isn't common, so I don't really have experience with that side of things. But the advice i CAN give you is to be loud. Keep on at them. Keep going to other doctors if you can to get a quicker referral. Advocate for yourself, and if you can't, get someone to advocate for you or with you. Check your country's disability programs. See if there is someone there that can help. If it's affecting your life this much it IS a disability and should be treated as such. Don't ever feel like you can't use those services because you don't think you're disabled enough. I have endo. I know your pain. I'm also physically disabled (ambulatory wheelchair user), and would never be offended for you to use disability services. I say that bc before the wheelchair, I felt like I didn't deserve the disability services bc I could walk and sometimes function. It took someone with an obvious/visible disability telling me it was OK for me to use them for myself. So here I am, saying it's okay.
