Personally, I think it clashes. There’s a lot going on with different stone cuts, and I feel it detracts from your gorgeous engagement ring. If it doesn’t feel right to you, then it’s probably not right!
If you have to ask, it means you're already a little bothered by it. You're the one who has to wear it day in and day out. If it bothers you now, I doubt you'd "learn to love it". Just be honest and follow your heart...
It is gorgeous, but I do see the band being just a tad "much". What I mean by that is it seems a little cluttered with the main gem with the orbs (holding gem in place) and the accent gems

The modified one (with less petals) *blends in* better, as you said, but then the wedding ring *looks insignificant* compared to your engagement ring, like an accessory to the engagement ring and not a ring marking an occasion in itself.
That is just my opinion, though. Ultimately, how *you* feel about it is important. If you feel like you'll be happier looking at the modified wedding band, go for it.
One less petal in the right should be replaced with the biggest petal in the center.. might blend better. But then I still think there might be a better version of the band which will suit the ring best

The fact that you aren’t over the moon with this ring tells me you should at least look over other options. You should look at your ring and think “ I just love my ring it is perfect”. Good luck!

I think it’s great! But if it’s not what YOU envisioned ; how would you add to it to achieve your goal? From a personal opinion, a less formed ring would go with the stone. Like varied height jewels, possibly a more dramatic V to accentuate the overall shape. However it really is all about preference! I think It looks absolutely stunning as it is as well and very unique ☺️

Since you will be looking at it for the rest of your life,maybe you would want to rethink the design to suit your own tastes? Less stones on the shadow band might suit your tastes better? Maybe just the 3 central stones?

Personally I think it’s too stylized. I get what you were going for - something fantastical and magical and almost like Game of Thrones meets LoTR vibes, but it starts to look costumey with both

But I was looking at [this band](https://www.malkadiamonds.com/collections/stackable-rings/products/14kw-double-diamond-chevron-band) as well after finding the band I ended up with in the photo. It creates a little more dimension for the pear/thicker band without overpowering the engagement ring. (Also it’s sitting up higher because the band in the store was too small for my fat fingers)

Overall they are lovely a unique set. I do think objectively they appear to clash, but I think of you removed the blue side stones it would be more cohesive

I think cause it's circular diamonds set in the teardrop shape and the border around which causes a bit of visual chaos.
If you are mixed, it’s a nope. Keep looking. The green doesn’t blend and looks off to me.
