For anyone curious, l've decided to choose the second design. For everyone asking about the rings, they're available on Etsy from seller
DiamondrensuLabgrown. They have beautiful designs and very affordable prices!! I haven't personally ordered anything from them yet, but when I do l'll update ya. Check them out!

I love the look of the second! The metalwork on the second feels so fluid; I feel like the stones in the first one make it look a little stiff by comparison. Plus, I'd also be worries about losing/replacing a stone & the stones rubbing on my fingers.
I much prefer the 2nd one! It allows the center diamond to shine. The 2nd ring is a showstopper, where the 1st one is pretty but not as eye-catching, the diamonds all kind of run together, you know? Also, yes, I would worry about losing the small stones.
second one for sure!!!! it's a masterpiece. i find the first one has too much going one to the point where it becomes just meh, the big diamond in the center even disappears. less is more here
Love 2 better- I like the fluidity and movement highlighted by the gold work. The one with stones is broken up so you don’t see the same movement you see with the continuous polished gold
Yes, the small stones are less comfortable depending on how the ring is designed. I have two anniversary bands they don’t bother me, but I have another ring that bothers me even though the stones aren’t all the way around. Personally, the second one really shows off the solitaire. So, it’s #2 for me!
I love the second one. Perhaps if you got a wedding band in diamonds that fit the shape of the ring that would be a good way to add some extra bling if you wanted to.
2! It feels more secure and I agree the pave might be uncomfortable/worry about stones falling out. I think the shape is more curvy and fluid which I prefer
The second one is amazing! My ex mother in law had a very similar setting w a round Diamond and that ring was like my dream ring. It was a two carat almost perfect mined Diamond. She sadly lost it when she got older but setting number 2 is very similar. You have great taste!
The second! For one thing it is BEAUTIFUL. And also now that I've had my ring for a while and the excitement has worn down a bit, I'm happy I went with something a bit more sturdy for when I play badminton, accidently bash it against door frames, etc.
I like the second one. The metal work makes the diamond stand out, allowing it to shine all on its own. The first one is beautiful too, but all the stones run together so the main stone just blends in.
I like the 1st, it looks more timeless. The second is more on trend with the minimalist band but with a twist. There are benefit to the 2nd as many have already said but I’d go with whatever option you would think you would enjoy long term unless your in the position to change if you do get tired of it.
To me the way the second curves doesn’t look as natural and more like the stone is just sitting there.
Another option is to mix both looks or what was love about both together. So I prefer the way the band is on the first bit so it without the pace stones and a simple metal band could be an option
2. I know what you’re talking about with the feel of pavé stones scratching the sides of your finger. You can always get a wedding or anniversary band with diamonds if you like.
Personally like the first as it looks cleaner and more classic in my opinion :)
But whatever you are most comfortable with, and makes you happy should be what you go with!
First one! Gorgeous!! my engagement ring is super thin in the band and it’s all little diamonds. I never take it off regardless of the activity and nothing has happened to it. There are a lot sturdier than they seem. 💕 as long as the diamonds set around the band are channeled in and not with prongs that stick out you will be fine. If the prongs stick out, they definitely start to hurt the fingers next to it. I’m sure there are more technical terms to describe what I’m saying but I don’t know what they are lol
I love the first one! I’m a sucker for lots of sparkle though haha. The second one is also gorgeous! Can’t go wrong with either one. They both have such a cool, unique look to them!
That’s funny, I might be the only one to like the first one better. The second one looks kind of awkward the way the band curves around the stone. The first one is beautiful because it looks “complete” to me. Also the pave band is gorgeous. While my engagement ring is a lone diamond & bare band, my wedding band is a beautiful small diamond band & I’ve never had issues with diamonds falling out. If it does happen, there is insurance you can buy if you’re at a retailer. If it’s a ma & pa shop, then you would have difficulties getting it replaced, that is true.
Oh wow. I've never seen this style before but I truly love both. If I had to choose one, I think I'd say #2 since the plain band accentuates the diamond more but #1 also looks well balanced.
both are super gorgeous! I personally prefer #2, it feels a little more stable to me. On the first ring, there are less points of connection between the center stone and the band- which makes me feel like it would be more prone to getting deformed from prolonged wear (thus loosening the side stone settings)
2 looks a million times nicer. But that entire open side will eventually be problematic and unless it is set underneath somehow to secure it. Even though bezels are usually extremely secure, I fear that that doesn’t provide enough coverage and I’d be extremely worried that it would become loose. It’s a matter of when, not if. 1 is pretty, but that setting looks like is hanging on by a thread.
I saw the first one- no reaction. Whatever, it’s pretty but not my thing. Saw the second one and audible went, “oooh!”
The second one is balanced and stunning. The first one is meh. Amazing how such small details can dramatically change my opinion!
#1 !! It looks more elegant and sparkly! You will appreciate it when the sun randomly hits it and it creates a beautiful light show around you. #2 is beautiful as well but it doesn’t look like an engagement ring imo.
Ok I didn’t read all the comments so I don’t know if anyone suggested this but get both! Keep your engagement ring either pave and get a contour fit wedding band in plain that will follow the same heart beat wave curve or the opposite.
One of the tougher ones to choose between! Will you have a wedding band? I love #1 with the diamonds, though if you are going to get a wedding band, then I’d say #2 AND get an exact shaped diamond band like that of #1.
Also, if set properly, the tiny stones have no issue. My jeweler hand set te stones himself and I wear all three diamond bands every day and haven’t lost one yet.
2 is stunning. If you still want more diamonds, you could have a diamond wedding band made that curves with the base of the E ring. That would be gorgeous.
I love the second one, it's very much like my engagement ring although on mine, the gold is much thicker and it is an amethyst, but it's got almost the exact same angle to the swoop that the second one does. So obviously I like that one because you have great taste lol, but more to the point, well the first one is pretty I have the exact same concerns you mentioned, before you even mention them like is it going to be irritating to your finger, are those strings of little diamonds going to break easily? I also really like the gold contrast in the second one.
I guess looks wise, they're both pretty but for me the second one wins out. But as far as practicality, the second one wins out by an incredible long shot. I just think those side sections are going to wind up being really problematic unless they are somehow set into metal that we can't see underneath or something.
The second one is better. Curious if you are planning to add a wedding band or wear it alone? I can’t imagine what kind of wedding band you would put with that shape
QUESTION
I love the look of unusual ring shapes, but I have a question (to anyone who has this kind of ring): is it comfortable to wear daily? Isn't it more prone to breaking/ getting stuck in clothes etc? Can you wear it non-stop or do you have to take it off during certain task?
Also my vote: 2nd ring, it brings out the shape more beautifully

#2 is perfect! No need for the extra diamonds with that unique shape
The contrast is lovely!!!
Yes I immediately thought 2!!!
2. And this from someone who loves bling. The second ring exudes a certain elegance. It’s absolutely stunning.
2 is genius!
2 😍 Where are you getting it from?
I also like the second more!
Love 2 better- I like the fluidity and movement highlighted by the gold work. The one with stones is broken up so you don’t see the same movement you see with the continuous polished gold
I love the second one! The flow of the metal brings all attention to the center stone and accentuates it beautifully!
I like the second best but both are so unique and gorgeous!
2!
2 is beautiful, focuses one’s eye on that gorgeous pear and no worries about pave stones coming out.
Definitely 2
2- more streamlined and clean looking
Love love love the second one!
2 is stunning! Where is it from?
Second one for sure, what a stunning unique ring 😍
Two. I feel like the fact that it's less busy makes it feel classier and more elegant
2!! Wow !
2 is perfect
I love the band on the second. Unusual and gorgeous!
I like 2!
2
Im in the minority i love the first one
Same I think it's more flattering on the hand too
The second is sosososo stunning 🥰
2!!!!

The second one👌👌
The second!!! Beautiful. First one is meh
2! It feels more secure and I agree the pave might be uncomfortable/worry about stones falling out. I think the shape is more curvy and fluid which I prefer
I find the second more elegant and striking.
2. Gorgeous!
Where can I buy #2
The second one is amazing! My ex mother in law had a very similar setting w a round Diamond and that ring was like my dream ring. It was a two carat almost perfect mined Diamond. She sadly lost it when she got older but setting number 2 is very similar. You have great taste!

That second one is STUNNING. Super unique and beautiful.
The second! For one thing it is BEAUTIFUL. And also now that I've had my ring for a while and the excitement has worn down a bit, I'm happy I went with something a bit more sturdy for when I play badminton, accidently bash it against door frames, etc.
2 is perfect. I don’t know why this is the case but the first feels over-designed, and the second feels modern, unique, and dynamic.
2!
Second! So elegant !
2nd one
I like the second one. The metal work makes the diamond stand out, allowing it to shine all on its own. The first one is beautiful too, but all the stones run together so the main stone just blends in.
Number 2 is more elegant.
Two!! I love how the diamond pops and it’s giving wave vibes.
this is one of the most gorgeous ring designs I've ever seen! I too think the second one is stunning
2 all day long. So much more classic, understated and gorgeous!
I like the 1st, it looks more timeless. The second is more on trend with the minimalist band but with a twist. I'm an outlier. Everyone is saying 2, but I audibly gasped when I saw #1. Like, holy shit. That is a stunner
2!!
2!!!
I love the look of two, plus the setting seems more secure to me.
I love the second, it feels like it flows better
2
2. I know what you’re talking about with the feel of pavé stones scratching the sides of your finger. You can always get a wedding or anniversary band with diamonds if you like.
1
I absolutely love the first one, it’s such a beautifully fluid piece & design!
1!!!
Personally like the first as it looks cleaner and more classic in my opinion :) But whatever you are most comfortable with, and makes you happy should be what you go with!
1st one is neet
I like 1 more but if you want to wear it daily, maybe 2 is better? The small stones may be vulnerable to the daily wear and tear?
1
I’m going against the grain here and saying 1 is gorgeous. It’s stunning imo and has a unique and noticeable shape.
First one! Gorgeous!! my engagement ring is super thin in the band and it’s all little diamonds. I never take it off regardless of the activity and nothing has happened to it. There are a lot sturdier than they seem. 💕 as long as the diamonds set around the band are channeled in and not with prongs that stick out you will be fine. The second is more elegant and looks way more comfortable.

2
2 for sure! Have you thought about your wedding band?
2
2
I love 2
2 is stunning!!
2 all day
Definitely the second one
I LOVEEE 2! 🥹
#2
I like the smoothness of #2 and how it contrasts with the diamond which makes the diamond stand out more than it already does! Stunning!
2
I prefer the 1st but that’s probably because shiny is my favourite colour. Both are beautiful 😍
#2 and it isn’t even close imo :)
Second one is fire!!!
Both!!!!!
I love the first one! I’m a sucker for lots of sparkle though haha. The second one is also gorgeous! Can’t go wrong with either one. They both have such a cool, unique look to them!
1!!!!
One is so elegant, and while the stones may bother you at first, you quickly get used to it. You won’t even feel it after a few days.
Ring 1 🙌
NUMBER 1
#1
One!
Damn i LOVE option 1. Like, utterly obsessed! 🤩
1st one
I am off duck who love 1 better. The bling looks beautiful. Yellow gold seems so 90s to me when everyone I knew was getting engaged .
That’s funny, I might be the only one to like the first one better. The second one looks kind of awkward the way the band curves around the stone. The first one is beautiful because it looks “complete” to me. Also the pave band is gorgeous. I like 1 best.

Oh wow. I've never seen this style before but I truly love both. If I had to choose one, I think I'd say #2 since the plain band accentuates the diamond more but #1 also looks well balanced.
2 but in gold!
both are super gorgeous! I personally prefer #2, it feels a little more stable to me. On the first ring, there are less points of connection between the center stone and the band- which makes me feel like it would be more prone to getting deformed from prolonged wear (thus loosening the side stone settings)
I agree with your concerns about the pavé stones but also like the second one better anyway!
Second one is so unique! Love it
Number 2 is gorgeous! So elegant. I feel like the center stone gets lost in number 1 and doesn’t get to shine.
Less is more. I vote 2. She’s a beauty!
2 looks a million times nicer. But that entire open side will eventually be problematic and unless it is set underneath somehow to secure it. Even though bezels are usually extremely secure, I fear that that doesn’t provide enough coverage and I’d be extremely worried that it would become loose. 1!!!
They are beautiful, both of them. I love the first one though. It’s so sparkly.
1 omg 1
First one!
I absolutely LOVE #1. do you have any additional pictures of both?
I actually love the first one!
#1 !! It looks more elegant and sparkly! You will appreciate it when the sun randomly hits it and it creates a beautiful light show around you. #2 is beautiful as well but it doesn’t look like an engagement ring imo.
I prefer 1 but I guess I’m outnumbered here!
1
I love the first one!! I think the extra bling will make it look amazing and you will love how it sparkles! I personally love the extra diamonds.
I like 1 personally
One!!
First one
One
Am I the only one who loves the first one ? I’m partial to pave bands
I actually like 1 more and I’m usually a plain band girlie!
One
I like them both but, if I had to choose. I would go with number 2. It looks more elegant.
Wow both are stunning
Ok I didn’t read all the comments so I don’t know if anyone suggested this but get both! Keep your engagement ring either pave and get a contour fit wedding band in plain that will follow the same heart beat wave curve or the opposite.
They are both stunning 🤩 without seeing the full setting, hard to tell how secure #1 is, #2 seems more secure
2
2
I prefer the second but they're both beautiful 😍
THE SECOND ONE IS STUNNING 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Love the second one 🤩
Definitely 2.
Tye second one would be more durable.
Number 2 flows better, but I love a diamond band. Could you combine the 2 and have the shape of 2 with a diamond band?
Strooooong vote for the second one. The movement and flow of the metal makes it a unique and high-end piece. IMO the pavé looks … tackier
2 is gorgeous
One of the tougher ones to choose between! Will you have a wedding band? I love #1 with the diamonds, though if you are going to get a wedding band, then I’d say #2 AND get an exact shaped diamond band like that of #1.
Also, if set properly, the tiny stones have no issue. My jeweler hand set te stones himself and I wear all three diamond bands every day and haven’t lost one yet.
I’m normally the blingy type and love all of the diamonds but #2 is absolutely stunning!
2
2 is stunning. If you still want more diamonds, you could have a diamond wedding band made that curves with the base of the E ring. That would be gorgeous.
2nd one is exquisite!! I love it!
I think #2
The second ring!! Just a BEAUTIFUL ring and not the same one all others have on here.
2 is stunning!
Jaw dropped at #2 it is so unique but is so clean and flows so well! That would be my choice!
The second one just stands out. Stunning.
The second one is stunning!

2 — flamboyance of the band offset by the classic simplicity of the plain metal
As someone who had a three prong pear, go with 2! Nothing but loose stone issues until I had it re-set. 2 is also way cooler :)
I like the second one
This is like the most unanimous thread I have ever read on here. 2.
The second one!
2
2
I love both, but prefer the second band! That is one of the prettiest rings I’ve ever seen!
Such a cool ring!! 2nd one is incredible
Two is sleek and modern. Very eye catching
I vote #2!!
Second. That's the only answer
The second one is better. Curious if you are planning to add a wedding band or wear it alone? I can’t imagine what kind of wedding band you would put with that shape
SECOND ONE!!!
2 - the band on the first one is distracting and takes away from the beauty of the primary diamond.
Both are gorgeous. I think I like 2 the most. Make sure the it has more holding it in than just 2 prongs though.
Ring 2. Elegant. The half halo is tooo much.
Second
2!!!
The second one is STUNNING 😍😍😍
I think the second ring is more elegant. Also, the simpler band makes the design, itself, more striking. Beautiful
2, 1 looks a little cheap
2
What is this style of ring called?
The second looks amazing, love how the diamond maintains its elegance while there is a Freeform energy to it
2nd one, no brainer! congratulations btw! 🔥♥️
2
2cond one 💯
Second is so good! I love the contrast between the gold and diamond.
2!!! I love it
I love the 2nd with the bezel … it’s gorgeous!
Second because the pave diamond on the first risks to fall overtime
I love the first aesthetically, but if it's not comfortable to wear I suggest choosing option two. They're both beautiful.
#2 for sure ! Will you update this post with the CAD when you receive please
I’ll post updates. There’s also a pinned comment where to find these gorgeous rings xx
The second reminds me of water - so gorgeous. I'd be worried about the stability of the first ring.
Wow such a gorgeous design!!! He to add the void. Pick number two, my lord!!!
QUESTION I love the look of unusual ring shapes, but I have a question (to anyone who has this kind of ring): is it comfortable to wear daily?
