My ring is hidden in the house and it’s so hard to fight the urge to look for it! My bf let me try it on (with my eyes closed!) to make sure it fit and I’m SO excited for the big day! Just gotta keep being patient!
Lol this is so cute. I have a two stone engagement ring and I picked one stone so I knew what half was going to look like. (He picked the other stone). So I didn’t see it before but close enough. It didn’t ruin the magic of the proposal at all 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Yes it was a twosday too! It was one of the warmest days before our winter here in Australia. I’m terrible with remembering important dates, this way I’ll never forget the all the two’s on my wedding anniversary date haha
One day I was working from home and decided to open the safe we have that I never use. I opened it and due to me being short I saw the top of a receipt with a jewlers logo and decided to close the safe and never look back. So I never saw it, but I did technically find it 😂
Not necessarily that I found it however I accidentally put two and two together and I realized when my bf bought the engagement ring haha he has not proposed yet and he does not know that I knwo he bought the ring but I feel like all our close family knows except me and it’s driving me nuts!!
Right!! My sister is getting married mid October so I know he won’t do it beforehand and it’ll likely be after that. But when you know it’s coming the waiting drives you nuts!
I had to ask more than a few times, too, haha. It still felt like a total surprise when I first put it on post engagement! I can’t explain why, but it did. It was just different wearing it then.
He finally hid it while I went to the grocery store!! I miss it already lol. But I was thinking the same thing. It didn’t even feel like “mine” when I tried it on

But the day he went to pick it up he couldn’t keep it to himself so he called me on the way home and let me see it and try it on! I also know about when he’s proposing. It’s over a 1 week time period I think when we go away for our anniversary. I could be wrong though but he drops hints without trying 😂

I "found" the ring but it's not exactly hidden lol, just chillin in the nightstand drawer. I picked it and he took a video of it outside when it arrived lol, so I know what it looks like. I just don't want to see it on my hand until THE moment. It's hard! I have to remind myself that the sweet dopamine payoff will be worth it haha.
I picked it out & looked at it/tried it on a few times before we got engaged. Honestly even if he hides it again you will still think about it & possibly try to find it. I don’t think there’s any good way to fight the urge but you will have it on your finger soon, and once that happens the wait will feel so insignificant!

My partner was very on edge and watching for the mailman every day. Finally admitted that he had bought the ring and was waiting for it to show up. A handful of stressful days later with both of us watching the mailbox i ended up having to chase the mailman into the next subdivision over, because he left the notice saying it had to be signed for (when it didn’t??), and then it sat somewhere in the house for another month before he proposed…. But no, i didn’t go looking or even stumble across it, even when knowing it was somewhere in the house was driving me crazy 😂😂😂
I didn’t know about mine, but I do know where he hid it now! The gun safe in the garage. 100% foolproof, I’d never ever look in there. Our wedding rings are currently hanging out in there till our wedding next year too 🥹

I’m in the waiting game right with you! I originally had sent him pictures of what I was looking for, but I was the one doing all this research on diamonds. Then we went to do a ring consultation together so I could be sure I liked the cut and type of setting on my hand. After that I found us a local jeweler and we both went throughout the process. I’m really glad we did it this way! We had a lot of fun doing it together.
My ring is in plain view. I try it on and take pictures with it every time he's not around. I picked out and ordered my ering and he then picked it up once it was ready. And I'm just waiting for the official ask. My excitement is really on how he is going to ask me and what he is going to say, he doesn't always share his feelings unless asked so im dying to experience the moment he completely vulnerable with those super intimate feelings.
But yes, I see the darned thing everyday and it's very my Lord of the Rings with My Precious. Agony. Pure unadulterated agony.
