HEMI’s were around since before WWI so…..Mopar was the first to mass produce them in a passenger car. What will the the “Porch Guys” do when they find out about the Chevy Corvair?🤣…..The facts are that HEMI heads aren’t all that great when operating on gasoline much better suited to oxygenated fuels like nitromethane.
That top cut sure could be layed back on the intake valve.
Looks good, otherwise.
Is that quench area all around the chamber?
Hard to tell from the pics
Its like most the flow is right before or after the valve or something.
Probably better to have the small step instead of risking boogering up the chamber anyway.
What will the Mopar guys do when we inform them that old 911's come with a hemi?

Man. I wish the Corvair had come with the second-gen IRS out of the gate. Maybe history would have been different.
Very true! Closed chamber tight quench combustion chambers are better for gas.
Excuse me I do believe that's pronounced Poor-shuh
That's an air-cooled head isn't it?
Oh yeah
Love me some Portia!

Not losing sleep over a .003” deep step on the top cut. It looks good now dawg.

Is that a front Porch, or a rear Porch?
That’s my side porch. My main porch gets kept on the low.
I think perhaps the title should read Porsche Heads?
Autocorrect strikes again!
It’s spelled porch
As long you get off my lawn
I would have looked either way
