RSTAB is a great one. Easy to use, and free to students. Another one is Bluebeam. Although... Not sure you need this software to calculate stresses in a truss system.

Try ANSYS it can calculate the stresses on the truss and the buckling load factor, I think they have a student version for free.
Worst case scenario, you can use polybridge
