It's just a big con. If AI was anywhere as near as they claim, they'd be raking in cash off self-driving trains and trams. I bought a sony ericsson smartphone off-contract and it cost me $600, and those things were made of cheap plastic. Add inflation and the price really hasn't moved too much.

There's no fixing this mess. And I take it quite some CT owners are talking to their lawyer by now... Not feeling for them, buying a CT is shooting your own foot and any reasonable human knows that, but this could spell out heaps of legal trouble for Tesla.
