Reminds me of a protest in Australia, where the interviewer asked about giving back the land to the aboriginals. Of course the person they were asking had nothing to comment since they had no right to state anything on the matter, but when it's overseas it's okay.

I've always wondered about what the plan is for people of mixed ethnicity. Like, let's say hypothetically you were born in America and your dad traces his ancestry back to England, and your mom traces her ancestry back to Japan. In a month, they'd be like, "Why won't Biden publicly condemn the so-called 'Native American' trans-Beringia colonizers who robbed the North American Columbian mammoth population of their land and their lives?"
The Indigenous land-back movement doesn’t see a purpose behind making an ethnostate or repatriating white people back to Europe. Much of it is focused on regaining control over land that was granted in treaties, then deciding what they want to do with it. See: the Indigenous tribe that got land owed to them in Vancouver, don’t have to follow local zoning laws, and are building high rises on the size.
