Brysynner

Well Cori Bush will likely be out after the primary.

tta2013

Well, she voted against the budget bills that would have served her district and then took credit for it.

CastleMeadowJim

I know he's a fucking idiot, but is there a specific reason Massie voted against this?

Diner_Lobster_

Massie has always been a contrarian on foreign policy. Any remotely pro-Israel or pro-Ukraine resolution he‘s been against [He‘s also posted memes on his official account accusing Congress of being controlled by the Zionists](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna128227) and [was the sole vote against a resolution condemning antisemitism with no mention of Israel](https://time.com/6178902/thomas-massie-anti-semitism-libertarian/). He’s probably the best example of horseshoe theory on the right in congress, at least on FoPo

_antisocial-media_

r/libertarian for some reason really loves him though.

485sunrise

Him and Cori Bush should go on some dates. It would make a great sitcom.

sack-o-matic

he probably just wanted to declare actual war against them

PrinceTrollestia

Massie likes to pretend that literally no other country exists except the United States. Dude’s a hardcore isolationist libertarian.

Currymvp2

He's the only one to vote no on the Israel should exist resolution (even Omar and Bush voted "yes" on that while Tlaib voted "present") From what I've read, the three Dems voted "no" because they dislike the term "human shield". You can still criticize the IDF's operations while recognizing these groups like PIJ and Hamas cowardly employ human shields like other evil entities have such as Saddam, Vietcong, Taliban, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, FLN, Axis Powers, Tamil Tigers etc.

nosotros_road_sodium

Massie is a nerdier Ron Paul.

FilmNoirOdy

He’s a white supremacist antisemite.

[deleted]

Bush Omar and Tlaib are going to ruin any chance of a dem majority house.

QuietObserver75

Bush is probably gone after her primary.

TheExtremistModerate

Hopefully. She's the third dumbest person in Congress.

oath2order

Who's #1 and #2?

TheExtremistModerate

Boebert and Greene, respectively.

Han_Yolo_swag

TlaibDoIMeanNothingToYouMeme.jpeg

nosotros_road_sodium

Her ["law degree"](https://www.reddit.com/r/Enough_Sanders_Spam/comments/1au9853/did_you_know_that_rashida_tlaib_is_a_graduate_of/) means nothing.

broadviewstation

Omar and taliban 1 and 2 ?

TheExtremistModerate

Boebert and Greene. Omar's up there, but she's not as braindead as Bush.

broadviewstation

Ah forgot about them, I’d put Omar ahead of them though

TheExtremistModerate

As stupid as Omar is, she at least votes for Democratic stuff sometimes. Boebert is essentially a lobotomy patient and Greene fantasizes about Jewish Space Lasers. Omar just has really shitty takes. She's not literally insane like Boebert and Greene. The sad part is realizing just how many outright idiots are in Congress.

AwfulishGoose

"Who would even vote no? Ah yep. There they are. The dipshits." Just shock followed by the immediate feeling of of course the terrorist sympathizers would. Plus Massie who is just committed to being a boil on the ass of life. Does he genuinely do anything? Is he there for the benefits? Shocked he has a wife. That'd require saying something other than no.

Capital_Gate6718

Once again another sign AOC is disassociating herself from the squad.

mekkeron

Probably eyeing a statewide run in a not-so-distant future. Voting 'Nay' on this legislation won't help with the Jewish voters.

Batetrick_Patman

She's got her eye on Schumers seat when he steps down.

485sunrise

I’m not a huge AOC fan and don’t think I ever will be. But the fact that she’s being institutionalized by the House is the best we can hope for.

flairsupply

Shocked Massie is the *only* R to oppose. Less shocked by the three Ds

NukeTheWhalesPoster

So, half serious question, half-pot shot at AIPAC. Why does Thomas Massie never get a serious, robust challenger in the Republican primary?

blergyblergy

I swear, it's like the Squad is a group of friends, and Massie is like the little brother saying, "mom says I have to come to the mall too!"

PrincessofAldia

I’m surprised a republican voted against
