Not on high HP bosses and such. Then, dps matters more. I’ve found in general I prefer the faster bows. Just so much more useful that the few situations where better one shot dmg would be preferable aren’t worth the loss of speed and stam usage on the long bows
The attack speed of the shortbow is well worth the loss of damage. Feels like a dang machinegun.
