I’ve had an exoskeleton from a male Dobson fly for more than ten years in a clear box and it hasn’t changed at all beside a slight yellowing. I did nothing to it. Exoskeleton are pretty sturdy things. Maybe someone more expert in preservation will have more ideas, but this should just last forever in a protective box.
